Elemental Dissonance.

"Worker or Soldier??" The old man asked nonchalantly. 

"...soldier, a soldier it is…." Bilal replied hurriedly. 

"A soldier, huh? Quite guts you have, only 10 have enrolled till now, here" The old man rummaged his hand within the wooden box, taking out an inch wide token with a staff and sword insignia, he handed it to him.

"What's this?" Bilal asked. 

"This is a Soldier's trial token used in the recruitment trials throughout the Federation, it indicates your participation in the Recruitment process, don't lose it!" The old man stated and pointed his finger towards a burly Middle-aged man in the same outfit "Go show him the token, he'll tell you what to do next"

The man adorned in Blue had black hair and was quite tall around 6-feet, he stood at the corner of the Market holding a Wooden spear complementary to his height, behind him were rows of Cobblestone stone houses which he appeared to be guarding. 

Seeing the impatient eyes of the Old man he quickly left and went straight towards that Burly man, whilst he took a proper look on the token, it's texture was smooth and was quite sturdy almost like steel. 

"Lift it properly….i want all of you to be trained before reaching Meazon city state…" the burly man barked at one of the worker "Be grateful for the Federation, who's giving you barbarians a chance to lead a civilized life" 

The man seemed to be supervising the 'Market' at that moment, Bilal came to know these people aren't buying or selling anything instead they were being trained to be good labourers. Only then he became glad for choosing Soldier. 

As he came closer, the burly man quickly spotted him called him closer with his gestures and stretched his hand out. 

"Show me the token"

"Ah..here it is" Bilal said and handed the token. 

"A Soldier huh? What's your name? Are you able to fight?" The large man asked with his gaze scanning over his body. 

"My name's Bilal and I am able to hunt, but don't have much ability in fights" Bilal stated. 

"Bilal, huh? Quite an unusual name you have, I won't ask which Tribe you're from since you're wearing the Green Wind Tribe's hunting clothes" The middle-aged man misunderstood as he perceived the Hide clothes beneath his robes. 

Not intending to clear the misunderstanding even a bit, he hurriedly made-up a lie and said "Yes..yes, I'm from Green Wind Tribe, I used to be in the hunting party" 

"Hmmm…and lastly what's your talent level? Have you been tested yet?" The middle-aged man became quite attentive all of a sudden and asked. 

"I don't know what my talent level is and probably haven't been tested yet" Despite hearing the words 'True life talent' by that Bird, he said this since he had no idea about a single thing. 

"You haven't been tested, huh? Don't worry we'll test it in tomorrow's Recruitment trials, you see these houses behind me?" The man took a breath and spoke again while pointing towards his back. "They are to be allocated to Soldiers of the Federation, almost all the row houses are occupied so, you'll have to take that last one " 

"Food would be delivered to your house don't worry about it" The man said as he handed the token back. 

'Yup, seems good, now I won't have to worry finding a quiet place and secluded place.' Bilal pondered and went off, thanking that man. 

Within seconds he reached that house, opening it he closed it from the inside attaching the door latch. The only thing coming to his mind was to consume that multi-colored Orb and gain essential information from it. 

The interior of the house didn't have anything except a chair and a table, but he didn't care the least about the furniture. 

"System…what's the time currently" Bilal asked since not even the sun could be seen in this creepy recruitment camp, the whole ceiling was covered white smoky gas which appeared to be blocking it's light, Bilal can be sure of this being an effect of that illusion. 

[Current time : 2pm] 

[New notifications detected, Open now?] 

"No, don't open it right now." Bilal dismissed the system's notification and solely concentrated on unwrapping the multicoloured Orb which was bound tightly using a cloth scr.a.p.e. 

The Orb being marble-sized had multiple streams of colour particles flowing inside in a fluid-like manner, it gave off a cold and heavy feel when held in his palm. 

But it's big size appeared too threatening to swallow it in fear of being stuck, just then, as if reading his thoughts the marble-sized Orb shrunk down even further into a Pill-sized one.

He was bewildered witnessing this, he couldn't comprehend the mechanics behind this piece of mystic object. 

This further extended his reason to learn these things as soon as possible. 

'Here we go then' Bilal swallowed the pill-sized Orb. 

Spreading the heavy feel on its path, the Orb slid down his throat and suddenly with a 'Pop' it bursted with a small explosion. 

Following which strong currents started brewing in his body, making his hands somewhat spasm. 

Bilal could feel those strong currents moving towards his brain…

'Why is this taking so long, how much information does this thing contains'

The System Notification screen flashed and distorted his sight, the room disappeared in an instant and he found himself floating in an empty white room, seeing this Bilal immediately came to know, what it's gonna be. 

Just then, a golden spark initiated in the center of the room, a little Radiance expanded rapidly, in a split second, to a Human sized rift from which a figure rushed out. 

The figure was a Young man that appeared to be around 23-25, he was adorned in White robes with golden edges made it look magical and exquisite, although a bit too big for him, complementing these he himself was too handsome and his looks Heavenly, his hair was a bright shade of blonde and the eyes being Ocean blue.

Surrounding him was an Ardent White aura, that generated a unique presence of Warmth and Heat. Comparing him with Bilal no common points could be observed, they were drastically different from Heaven to Earth, he looked like a beggar in comparison. 

The young man looked straight into Bilal's eyes and displaced his jaws "Do you recognize me, Inheritor?" 

Hearing his voice Bilal immediately gasped as he couldn't establish a direct connection between the skeleton and this freak of nature. And besides the voice still remained the same, he called him an 'Inheritor' too. 

"Yes, I recognize you, aren't you the skeleton?" Bilal replied calmly. 

"Skeleton, huh? I have a name call me Valzer and this is how I used to look before being sealed and dying, by that Faux Deity" The Young man said. 

"You say you've died, then how can still live?" Bilal asked anxiously. 

"Don't ask how I still live after dying, there are million such ways to live even after you die, in Yreka, let me answer the most important questions first, since soul fragments don't have much time" The Young man said  "Let me start with basics…"

"The World you're in currently is called Yreka, it is a Major plane, I don't know if attainment was possible in your Plane, but in this Plane it is possible to attain strength unimaginable, people here train in obscure arts to transform their body and mind and leave their Mortal forms, the people gaining those prowess are called as 'Attainers' and the process of transformation is called Attainment of Power or simply Attainment" 

"So, that means I too would be able to become an attainer, right?" Bilal asked. 

"Yes, you can become Attainer and besides you already are an Attainer, even though you aren't quite aware of it" The Young man said "There are three paths for obtaining strength, either you train and evolve your body to become a Body Attainer or you could focus on just your Mind to become a Magic Attainer and while the last path being the easiest, it is the path of God worship, just simply becoming a God's follower you would be granted Strength, but I don't recommend walking down this path, these type of Attainers are called as Divine Attainers"

"You've seen me and that guy in Silver aura display these powers right? He was a Warrior which is a type of Body Attainer while I am primarily a Mage which is a type of Magic Attainer" He continued after pausing a second "The Sub-Paths within the Three major ones, itself are endless with the process of Attainment being discovered since the time immemorial, people of Yreka procured countless such Training methods, but only the Warrior and the Mage class methods still remains"

Hearing these words, he was somewhat able to discreet through words of that Bird.
