"You didn't know that miss Zelen is a former adventurer?" the man said. "Um, no sir. I don't even know what are adventurers," Zed said feeling embarrassed.

The twins looked at Zed with looking like they were shocked to hear Zed.

"I am from a faraway land," Zed said feeling guilty for lying. "It can't be helped then I guess. I will tell you what is an adventurer," Lenxe said. "Thank you, miss Lenxe that would help a lot," Zed said.

"Adventurers are basically like mercenaries, adventurers work for the adventurers guild. The adventurers guild puts up quests in their quest board, and the adventurers select the quest they want to complete in exchange for money," said Lenxe.

"Hmm, I see," Zed said. "Also, there are ranks and titles among the adventurers," said Linxe. It feels like I am in a video game in the tutorial mode, Zed said in his mind with a huge sigh.

"Huh, that's your attitude towards my cute little sister for talking to a filthy c.o.c.kroach like you!?" Lenxe said with an angered expression.

"No, no! Not at all, I was thinking of something else!" Zed said with a scared look in his face. "I am sorry, about that sir Zed," Linxe said.

"Oh, man Lenxe is too dangerous... too protective of Linxe. I need to be careful or I might end up dead!," Zed said in his mind getting the scare of his life from one beautiful young girl.

Lenxe had seemed to calm down at last.

"Oh, Zed! I found you at last," miss Zelena said as she walked towards Zed. "Ma'am! I am happy to be reunited with you! This town is really big I thought, I was lost for good," Zed said. "Yes, but how did you get here. This is my shop here," miss Zelena said, as she caught her breath, she looked relieved to find Zed.

"I ran into these girls here, and they showed me your shop here," Zed said. "Thank, goodness, you were not lost," miss Zelena said. "Good morning, miss Zelena," said the man.

"Good morning, sir Eing. Were you waiting? Sorry, I was caught up in a mess," miss Zelena said. "Yes, don't worry, I heard from the young man here. I am glad you are not injured," said sir Eing.

Miss Zelena smiles and opens her shop.

"Zed you should head over to the guild to get information," miss Zelena said.

"We were about to head over there right now. You can tag along if you want sir Zed," Linxe said as Lenxe gave Zed a cold stare. I don't want to tag along because of Lenxe!

But, I don't know the way to the guild. I might as well tag along and hope for the best!, Zed thought to himself.

"Alright, miss Linxe I will take you on that offer," Zed said. The three of them started walking. The roads in the town were paved with bricks and houses seemed to be carefully positioned despite looking like this era is back in times. The houses were made of bricks.

Zed was surprised by this thinking to himself whoever planned this city design must be a genius. Unable to resist his curiosity, Zed asks miss Linxe "Miss Linxe are all the towns around here designed this way?."

"Yes, but I heard it didn't use to be like this fourteen years ago. People praise the Meng for the progress in transportation," Linxe said.

"The what?," asked Zed feeling confused. "The meng is like the countries rulers helper in decision making," Linxe said keeping in mind that Zed does not know much about this country because he came from a faraway place.

Hmm, basically the minister, Zed thought in his mind. "We call the ruler the Quing," Linxe said. The king is the Quing then, Zed thought in his mind.

As Zed was walking towards the guild Zed notices people using magic in their daily life. Such, as using it to hang their clothes in the ropes or drying them with wind magic. "Oh, man the existence of magic still feels surreal even after I used it myself," Zed said in his mind.

"Here, we are sir Zed this is the guild," Linxe said. The guild was large in width and had a beautiful statue of a female knight pointing her sword at the sky. "This guild is big compared to Xia's home this guild is twenty times larger," Zed said in his mind.

Zed followed Linxe and Lenxe as they walked up to the large gate of the guild which was open and continued walking right into the guild.
