End of The World? Time to Level Up!

Sebastian groaned as Hanabira wrapped bandages around his arms, the medical hut was now full of soldiers getting healed.

"Ouch!" said Sebastian.

He gritted his teeth as Hanabira rough wrapped the bandages.

"That's what you get for not listening to me, your right arm is now damaged again, you better let it rest no fighting for 2 weeks got it?" said Hanabira as she glared at the teen make him sweat.

"Yes mam" he said quickly.

"Good now you'll recover nicely so you can go out I'm sure there is another person wanting some healing, we are almost heading back to Asuka city the krezfaher soldiers returned to their city yet there's bound to be some that get in the city." said Hanabira.

Sebastian nodded and climbed out the bed and put on a plain white T-Shirt with his black pants as he walked out the hut. Once outside he saw thousands of hunter corp soldiers helping each other and the wounded. He heard his name and he looked to his left seeing his group running to him. Emily arrived first and dived at the teen who caught her and spun her around.

"I'm so glad you're not dead" cried Emily out.

"I did tell you guys im not going nowhere." said Sebastian soothingly.

The rest of the group arrived and hugged Sebastian's even Junak. He saw behind his group came Dante walking on crouches a sad look etched on his face, Blair was the same except no crutch only holding her chest and she had a bandage going across her face from one temple to down to the neck. The teen walked up to Dante and they looked in each other's eyes, Dante then started to cry and fall on Sebastian dropping his crutches.

Sebastian caught the teen and held him in a hug as Dante cried his heart out, mumbling of how Leah and Shinzo's group died. Blair was also crying causing Rose and Sapphire to hug the girl. Sebastian and them just stood there allowing the two of them to cry out all their sorrows.

After 5 minutes both of them stopped and stood next to Sebastian who gave Dante back his crutches. All of them looked behind them and saw the hunter Corp Captains walking up to them they all were wrapped up in bandages.

"It's good to see every one of you guys are relatively alright." said Love softly.

Love had bandages wrapped around her body and the small gecko Sally had a plaster across his stomach.

"3 Kreaz Officers are alive and all of them disappeared in the middle of the fight so we don't know if they going to come back and such." said Kaguka.

"Krieg and Fantoche" thought Sebastian to himself.

"Sadly, we lost Captain Tetsu Burns and Summer Dawn with Head Captain Hanzo Minomoto..." said Kaguka slowly.

"Is there a replacement for them?" asked Junak.

"No when we get back to Asuka we all will rest for a week and they vote for the empty positions." replied Kaguka.

"If you will excuse me, I need to collect a phew things for a new experiment" said Kaguka as he gleefully walked away.

"I wanted Sally to be healed" Love cooed at the little gecko and walked in the medical hut.

"Can you all rest for about half an hour because that's when we heading back to Asuka understand? "said Shimo.

"Yes sir!" spoke everyone out.

Shimo walked off, Nikuya and Toge nodded at the group and walked off. The group walked to an empty corner that wasn't occupied and they lied down, they all fell asleep immediately. A loud ringing woke them up as the slowly opened their eyes and saw everyone was leaving the field walking back. Sebastian offered to give Dante a piggy back ride back, he accepted because he knew this was going to be extremely tiring for the teen.

The walk back to the city took longer than they thought because all the soldiers were tired, when they arrived at the gates, they saw few of Kanzo city citizens also standing in front of the gate.

When they walked in everyone cheered for the soldiers and the soldiers separated and went to their owns houses to tell their families they made it and such. Shimo allowed the Kanzo People to take 2 empty apartment buildings to stay in, they were over joyed. Sebastian's group split up heading to their own tents and wanted a well-deserved rest. For the following week Sebastian and the team have been resting May and Dante were a lot at Squad 6 research wing and such, when Sebastian was their Mia cried for about an hour saying she was glad he was alive and such. On the last day of the week the captains told everyone to come to the stadium so they can vote and announce who the new captains are going to be.

Sebastian woke up at 6 o clock 2 hours later than what he usually awakes, feeling curious about his stats.

"Alright I would say I'm at Captain level now" Sebastian thought to himself.

He entered the store and bought another dragon fang katana and left his tent, he didn't have a uniform as it was damaged in the fights so he only wore the hunter corps pants and boots with a plain white shirt, his katanas hanging at his hips. He walked to the cafeteria and saw that not a lot of people were present not even his group so he got some eggs and toast for breakfast.

He ate it quickly and walked out the cafeteria and headed to the stadium. When he arrived at the stadium, he saw a few people were sitting in the stands and talked with one another at the Captain's chairs all of them were present and they looked down at the teen who nodded at them.

Sebastian waited for a few hours before all the people arrived at the stadium and the vote officially started at 9, clock. How the vote worked was the captains and vice captains decide candidates and they cast their votes.

"Alright ladies and Gentlemen we have come to an agreement!" said Nikuya.

The crowd roared and clapped for her.

"Before we announce who's the new captains, we have an announcement to make." spoke Nikuya out.

"We have decided the new Head Captain of the Corp will be Shimo Nadare!" said Nikuya.

Captain Shimo looked shocked and surprised for a second but then nodded his head at the crowd and they clapped for him and cheered him on. He walked up to Nikuya and she sent him a small smile and gave him a black coat with the Number 0 on its back indicating he is head Captain.

"Captain of Squad 8 will be Ember Light." said Nikuya.

A girl walked out from the soldiers and walked up to the Captain Chair. She had Blond hair with blue highlights, she had cold blue eyes and was wearing a wore out hunter corps uniform that was torn here and there. She nodded at Nikuya and Nikuya gave her the Captain Coat.

"Captain of Squad 7 will be Wallice Field the vice-captain of Squad 7" said Nikuya.

A man walked forwards behind the Squad 7 chair, he had long unkept purple hair that reached his shoudlers. He appeared to be 19 years old and had abit of a stubble on his chin. He had dark brown eyes and a big smug smile on his face.

Nikuya gave him the captain coat and he nodded at her.

"Now since Captain Shimo isn't squad 2's captain anymore we decided to vote for a new captain." spoke Nikuya out.

"Captain of Squad 2 Sebastian Topaz!" shouted Nikuya.

Sebastian looked shocked and saw that his group also had the exact same reaction. When everyone heard that name, they went crazy and cheered for him. Sebastian walked up to Nikuya and stopped in front of her.

"Uhm are you sure I'm squad captain material Captain Nikuya?" asked Sebastian.

"Of course, I think you deserve this job and everyone agreed with me." replied Nikuya.

Sebastian looked at the crowds and the clapped and cheered for him. He nodded his head and Nikuya gave him the Captains coat with the number 2 on it.

"Alright now that you all have seen your new Captains your dismissed soldiers remember to get your new uniform!" said Shimo.

Deep in the city underneath an old house was a high-tech science fiscality. People wearing lab coats were talking to each other while busy right other things down.

"You guys see the new Captains they look tough!" spoke one Scientist out.

"Yeah I can feel abit happy knowing we going to be safe now." replied the other Scientist.

"You all need to worry less about those people and more on the project!" spoke a firm voice out.

"Yes, Professor Sterben!" replied both scientists quickly.

Professor Sterben appeared to be 20 year old man that had blue hair slicked backwards, he wore a pair of square shaped glasses that sat on his nose bridge, the color of his eyes were magenta, and to finish off the description he wore a white lab coat over his brown polar collar shirt and black pants.

"I don't care about those weak captains you will be surperior to all of them!" shouted the man.

He faced a giant glass tube that was connected to a bunch of cables and the tube was filled with red liquid, inside the tube was a figure floating separate wire were connected to it and an oxygen mask was present on its face. The figure slowly opened their eyes to revel a pitch-black sclera and a glowing yellow pupil.

"Everything will belong to us you..." said Sterben with a crazy look in his eye.
