8 years left till the storyline starts where Gon leaves his hometown Whale island to take Hunter exam so that he can find his father. He participated in 287th Hunter Exam and successfully became a hunter. There he met many friends and made many foes. One of the most popular villains in anime Hisoka was also introduced during that exam. But it was not his first time participating in Hunter exam. During 286th he was disqualified after he fought and almost killed one of the examiners. I can't participate in 287th Hunter Exam because I would come in contact with main characters and could create an butterfly effect or something that sort.

As I'm still weak I don't have a 100% confidence I could pass the Hunter Exam so I would go to some mountain and train for 6 more years. During those 6 years Organization would most likely think I'm dead making my life more easier. After 6 years of training I would already learn all the advanced Nen techniques qualifying me as a Nen Master. I would spend one more year as a bounty hunter to hone my skills and get more battle experience. Then I would join 286th Hunter Exam, there I would Fight Hisoka(and try to survive a meeting with him) and become a Hunter also completing 2 more missions.

Six years later in a remote mountain

There stood a teenager 15 years of age. But looking at his body no one would think that 15 year old boy could have such a perfect and refined body. He had an 8 pack but he was not overly muscular. His body was well proportioned and there was no visible fats. His only flaw was his average face. Before him stood a gigantic rock as big as a house. Teenage boy raised his hand and send an average looking punch at the rock. What followed was truly shocking as the teenage kid easily broke the rock down with a punch. Teenage boy looked at the direction of the nearest city and started walking in that direction.

Six years have passed since the time I started my training in the mountains now I'm standing in front of a big rock to try out one of the advanced Nen techniques which is name Ko.

Ko is a combination of Ten, Zetsu, Ren, and Gyo in which all of the user's aura is concentrated into one particular body part. Gyo is utilized to focus aura on a part of the body, while Ten is used to prevent it from dispersing. Zetsu is used to completely stop the flow of Nen in all other parts of the body, increasing the output in the d.e.s.i.r.ed area. With Ren, the amount of aura is increased even further. This makes that one body part extremely powerful, but at the cost of leaving the rest of the user's body completely unprotected. Due to the risk it carries, Ko is regarded as a purely offensive technique. An incomplete version of this technique can be utilized without Ren, primarily to master the other steps before increasing the amount of aura to concentrate and contain.

You may ask what is Gyo and Zetsu I mentioned above? Don't worry that's what they are:

Gyo is an advanced application of Ren by which a Nen user concentrates a larger than normal portion of their aura into one specific body part. It increases the strength of that one body part, but leaves the rest of the body more vulnerable. Gyo is most often used in the eyes, allowing a Nen user to see aura and Nen constructs concealed with In as well as traces of aura that so faint that they might go unnoticed otherwise.

While Ten allows a user to keep aura from leaking away from their body, Zetsu stops the flow of aura from their body altogether. By closing all of their Aura Nodes, the user is able to halt all outflow of their aura like water from a valve, making their presence much harder or even impossible to sense. Shutting off the nodes in their eyes prevents the user from being able to see aura, but, since they are no longer surrounded by their own aura, they become more s.e.n.s.i.t.i.v.e to the aura of others.

So I powered my fist with Ko and send a punch towards a rock. Boulder was easily destroyed by my fist covered in Ko. If I was an enhancer I would've destroyed the rock completely. As many enhancers use Ko as a Hatsu Ability.

I had finished my 6 year training in the mountains and was yearning to go back to civilization. I only spend there six years and got bored. But Isaac Netero spend decades training which was too shocking for me. Now I was heading to the nearest Internet cafe to research where I could find a good job.
