Sol looked at his stats shown by the ring. The ability [ENHANCED PHYSIQUE] was born when he choose [HERCULES] as his main constellation, while the other as a result of his other constellations. The members of the Heracles family and Perseus families are born with more than one constellation. It's an advantage but at the same time a serious disadvantage. If one wants to reach the myth rank, he must have reached the fusing level.

Here the problem. For those with two constellations, they must reach the fusing level with the two constellations before being able to become a myth. Same with three or more. The difficulty of such endeavor was so high that during it's beginning phase, the two families were full of legend but only had a pitiful number of myth in each generation. Another problem was that with the effects on the personality, most members of the two families who managed to reach the myth ranks suffered from severe psychological problems such as multiple personality disorders.

It was only three hundred years ago that, a genius nicknamed [HIEROPHANT], a member of the Perseus family found a way out of this predicament. It was to choose the main constellation.

This constellation played the role of a general in an army. The difficulty of reaching the myth rank would still be a little harder, but reaching the fusing level with the main constellations would be enough.

What more, all the sub constellation would only always be one level lower than the main one even without training them. What more, only the main constellations that would affect the personality of the constellationist. Even now, [HIEROPHANT] was revered as a savior.

Now that he chooses his main constellations and reviewed his Ars, he was as ready as he could get. It has been two days since the night meets the principal. Since then, apart from going out to eat, he didn't leave his cabin. Well, he wasn't the only one acting like that. This test would be extremely hard, and everyone apart from your teammates could become potential enemies. If you become too close to someone before reaching, it would be pretty sad if you had to eliminate them later.

[we will reach little paradise in three hours, all the candidates are asked to come on the deck, I repeat we will reach little paradise in three hours ... ]

A sonorous voice suddenly sounded in his cabin. Sol took a deep breath. Now the time was upon him. As he got out of his cabin and walked in the hallway, he saw other candidates walking alongside him. Some of them talked a little with each other, but most of them, like him, was silent.

As he took a step on the deck, he was faced with the blue sky, full of white clouds and the blue sea under the ship. On the horizon, a large island was visible, albeit a little vaguely. Sol didn't particularly care about the beauty of the environment. What really baffled him was the concentration of aether in the atmosphere. The nearer they come to the island the higher the concentration was. He then began to feel dread. If his speculation were correct, the danger on this island went up on his radar. The other didn't seem to feel what he was. This was without a doubt an advantage of his enhanced physique and he didn't even activate it.

After waiting a few minutes, the step began to be heard. As he looked up, he saw the teaching staff appear one after the other. The last one was Eleanor wearing her gothic clothes. Once she appeared, the murmurs instantly died out.

The silence went out and became a little suffocating. In front of us wasn't the weird principal with a foul mouth. No, without a doubt we were in the face of a hardened and powerful warrior.

After waiting a little more, she finally opened her mouth, "I will give you one last opportunity to bail out. After I finish my little speech, you will all enter your cabin and not get out until we arrive at the destination." she paused a little, "In each of your room, there is a transportation circle. You just have to step on it and you will be teleported directly to the building of the test center. Now let me tell you what you'll face"

She waved her hand, and the screen appeared behind her. On this screen was the picture of an island. "Little paradise is an island discovered by the previous headmasters of the academies thirty years ago. This island is full of aether. So much that, one day of training there would equate to ten days outside." the candidates were a little excited at this announcement. Only the best training facilities of nobles families could equal that, what more the access to such facilities were so restricted that even the leaders couldn't access to it. Only Sol and the three other nobles didn't share this emotion.

Eleanor eyeing all of us with indifference continued. "Some of you may have already thought about it but since the environment is so suitable for training, the different form of life found here can also benefit from it." The joy instantly drained from their faces

(As I thought) it was what made Sol dread. Humans weren't the only ones who could train. Anything alive could train. This rule applied to all forms of life equally. Even bacteria. Such a wild zone was both a boon and a curse. Simple disease outside could become deadly there.

"Since you understand now, let me be direct with you guy. We did a thorough search and killed any being in the Transcendent realm and most of the most dangerous legend on this island. Still, most of you are only at the trainee rank so meeting a nightmare beast at the legend rank would be a death sentence. They're also the risk that we may have missed some myth rank, so the dangers are even higher" she let those sentences hang in the air. She then turned back and began to walk away.

As she walked she let those last words " Think well. The school may be the best, but is it worth the risk? The decision is yours. It's your life after all...".

The candidates left alone, looked at each other in silence. Sol, on the other hand, didn't wait before walking to his cabin. He understood the reason behind the instructions of Eleanor. Peer pressure was a scary thing. It can make you do things you would have never done otherwise. If she simply asked those who didn't want to stay to raise their hands, few of them would do so in order to not appear bad in front of everyone.

Once in his cabin, he chooses to make a count of all his provisions. He had asked a backpack some time ago and he chooses to fill it mainly with water and some canned food. While as super-beings, they could stay without food or water for some days, which was only available in normal times. You never knew what would happen on an island like that. Better be too cautious than not enough.

It was while he was doing such a task that he heard a knock on his door. The knock was slow and measured but strong enough to bring attention. When he opened the door what he saw surprised him. In front of him was one of the three nobles he remarked between the candidates. She stood here like a pure and white flower. She was staring at him and didn't seem to want to speak.

"Hello ?" was all Sol could do in order to break the silence.

With a start, she refocused and a perfect, smile automatically appeared on her face.

"Excuse me for spacing out. I am Natalia karkinos. Could you let me enter please? I wish to talk to you"

Sol after a minute of hesitation let her enter. While she was walking and looking around the room, he eyed her suspiciously. The karkinos family was the noble family under the constellations of cancer. Frankly, they were kept a bay by most other families. Their power was simply too creepy. They deal with souls and dreams.

The cancer was controlled by two myths. One saw him a the gate the world of the dead, while the other one saw him as a pitiful crab who tried to help the Hydra by biting Hercule who in his anger killed it by stepping on it. Thankfully for them and sadly for the other, their abilities were mostly in relation to the first myth. The only reason he let her enter was that they were under the myth suppression of the Heracles family.

After inspecting the room, she stayed in the center of the room and looked calmly at him. He took understood her intentions and introduced himself, "I'm Sol, Sol Heracles"

She barely betrayed any trace of surprise, with a calm expression, she clasped her hands in front of her c.h.e.s.t, which by the way was pretty large, and said with her smile "I thought so. I was pretty unnerved when I first saw you. So you are really a member of that family" a thoughtful expression then crossed her face, as she thought 'Sol.. Where did I hear this name?... He is Sol? The sol ?'

------

Natalia couldn't believe her luck. Of all noble of that family, she had to meet the worst. The [SHOOTING STAR]. A truly insulting but appropriate nickname given to him after the event 10 years ago. He was extremely famous between the nobles. The greatest example of failure ever.

She had planned to propose an alliance or at least a pact of non-aggression between the nobles. Now though, it would be just a waste of time. She heard that he stagnated at the hero rank for years since those days. It didn't matter that he was from the Heracles, even with the suppression, a weakling would always be a weakling.

"So... Why are you here?" Sol asked with a frosty tone.

He truly sounded too arrogant. Did he still think of himself as the super genius of the generation? She mused. Sigh. Weak and arrogant. Such a bad pairing.

Natalia didn't want to continue wasting time with him. She only managed to convince that retard, Emilio, to not fight against her, that bitch of a wild beast on the other didn't even bother opening the door.

"sigh... Nothing, I just wanted to meet a fellow noble" she didn't put him in her eyes, but politeness was expected from nobles even if she disliked it.

She once again eyed him. What a striking figure, if only he was more competent. It was truly a waste of good figure. Perhaps she should still propose the alliance? At least he was good on the eyes.

"I see... So.. Now that your business is over, anything else ?" his expression was truly turning impatient.

So he was arrogant, weak and rude? A trinity of stupidly? She immediately took back all thought of alliance. Even his good look wasn't enough to support such a personality. Still, she couldn't let him get a bad impression of her. He might be trash, but his sister and father were an extremely dangerous powerhouse. She couldn't offend someone like him.

Even though an alliance was impossible, she should still at least propose the pact of non-aggression. Who knows, perhaps this gesture of goodwill would help her tie relationship with powerful beings. So she sent him smile number 3. The smile of the shy excited maiden. It gave a more pleasant feeling than the number 1, the smile of the businesswoman. Lowering a little her head, tugging a little her lip, showing a slight blush on her cheek and then advancing few small steps before holding the hand of the one you talk to and then looking at him with sparkling eyes.

"Why are you so cold? Say. Could we be friends please ?" All that with a voice full of energy.

She was truly pleased with her performance. She would receive at least a 9/10 if her mother saw this. Now the target should fidget a little and try to slowly remove his hand while being a little fl.u.s.tered. Sadly all she saw was a cold and calculating eye quietly staring at her. This expression was wiped off so quickly and replaced by a smile so bright that she began to doubt her memories.

"OK, we can be friends. It's always good to make friends with beautiful women"

It wasn't exactly the result she wanted, but she could use it. Surely the cold looks were nothing more than her imagination.

"Sol, I wanted to ask a favor. I don't want to fight my friends. So is it possible to not fight against each other ? " She sent him a bright smile with a sweet voice.

" Don't worry. Friends shouldn't fight each other. We could even help each other if we were to meet "

" Sure. " she had to hold herself from snickering. So at least he knew his standing.

" Now I must go. See you later" she said as she went to the door.

Today's performance was really good. Now the only one she had to worry about was that beast.

------

Sol looked at her back as she went out and closed the door. If earlier smile completely vanishing from his face. If he didn't know the reputation of their family, didn't see the expression of disdain when she heard his name and didn't smell lie coming from her, he might have truly believed her. Sadly for her, while he wasn't the smartest man alive, his ability to see through falsehood was top notch.

After a few seconds, he simply threw her out of his mind. This girl was stupid and narcissistic. He liked dealing with people like that. Because they weren't evil per so. They just cared about themselves. As long as you weren't blocking their roads, they wouldn't even bother paying attention to you.

The most important matter now was how he would advance. He had already reached the level of mastery in the past. So during the few days of the test, he will try to reach this level again. That would smooth his path to becoming a legend. 'now let sleep a little. I need to be rest enough'. He went to sleep a little as he still had about three hours before reaching their destination.
