[Spencer's POV]

We were going to the kitchen when I saw thread forming near me.

'Careful~, two people coming, 1 armed~'.

'Ok' I gave a short answer to not get distracted and Dante kept the connection but didn't talk more.

I was surprised by the mission and tried to just run away through the backyard, but a loud bang on the door ruined my plans. I threw the bags on the floor and took out my handgun, at that moment two guys step in the house, one of them, saw me take out the gun and did the same.

The other guy who was a little shorter tried to move around the living room

"Freeze!!" I yelled, and the guy stopped moving.

I moved a little to stand in front of Hope.

Both seemed younger than me, one around Hope's age (the one with the gun) and the other was even younger I didn't recognize neither of them.

I could feel Hope's hand taking my shirt while shaking a little. I noticed that something like an ethereal black rope was around them, both were scared, the guy with the gun was visible shaking and that wasn't a good sign.

"No one needs to be hurt leave now and we all can just follow our paths". In their eyes, I noticed that they did not want to stay here either.

"Sorry, but we need supplies". The hand with the revolver was shaking.

I kicked to them one of the bags using my feet and it slides to get closer than them.

"We need supplies too, but you can take this and go" I waited for their response, but noticed that a thread like the one Dante use forming between them.

"Break that link right now". I said when noticed. They looked surprised, and the air around the legs of the other started to move.

"I said now, and I don't know what you are doing with your legs but stop". I discovered that the thread was cut, and the air became tranquil again. I though that they were going to leave, but they said.

"We need water too". I was surprised, they didn't look brave enough to make demands.

I was about to agree to give them the water when the backyard door was open.

The guy with the gun jumped and the revolver shot, I shot back as a reaction.

For a second I'm sure I saw his bullet coming directly to me, but something weird appear around us, when his bullet entered this area, it moved to the left enough to only graze my arm a little.

My bullet hit on his shoulder and passed through him, but the force made him fall down and drop the revolver.

The wound in my arm hurt, but I didn't move. I felt Hope hand lose grip and she fell on my back. The guy from the other group run to his fallen friend.

"Hope!!" I took my sister in my arms and checked her, she fainted, but there was no visible wound on her.

The other guy looked like if he wanted to run away, but the black ropes seemed to tighten even more than before, the revolver was on the floor.

G came into the room at that moment

"Throw them that bag"

G just followed my order without even think about it.

"Take those bags and leave, don't come back" the shorter guy took both bags and helped his friend stand up and leave. I was worried about Hope and something about them was not right and probably weren't going to leave if they didn't get what they were looking for.

The short guy looked grateful and took the bags and his friends and left, I sighted and started to check on Hope.

'Buy medicine skill book'. I said without even thinking, in my mind a plan was already on the go.

When I was browsing I paid attention to every skill that I thought could be useful, medicine costed 75 system points and I didn't plan to get it this early, but the situation changed, this left me with 25 points left.

I felt a slight headache while a lot of information filled my memory.

All the color I was already getting used to disappeared, instead I was able to see a brighter point in the bodies of Hope and G, every point has different colors.

Using my hands, I tried to feel the point using my enhanced touch and focused on each one of hope's vital.

I checked each of them when I came to the point of her head, I could feel something, I'm not sure how but I knew that she was going to be ok but needed to rest.

I don't know when, but Dante came and sit next to Hope visibly worried.

"She is going to be fine, she overexerted herself saving me when her power awakened".

G listed to what I said and really surprised

"Her power?"

"She made a shield and deflected the bullet". G didn't ask anything else

We left the house, bringing with us the revolver and the bag left, we had, since Hope was unconscious we went down the street.

Dante scouted to make sure that no one was around, and we arrived at home Dante said that Rose Passed out too, and was in my bed right now with Hayley, Dante told her that we were ok.

Me and G took Hope to my parent's room, for now all we could do was let her rest. I told Dante to look out and tell me if he sees anything weird.

I told G to wait me there and went to my room.

When I came in Hayley saw me and was about to hug me when I noticed Rose's clothes with blood on her.

"What happened to her?!?!" I dodged past Hayley and started checking on Rose and heard Hayley's story.

"I wanted to go help but she didn't let me. Afterward, she started to describe where were you and what you were saying, after a about half a minute I notices she wasn't alright and told her to stop but she ignored me and kept describing everything. Half a minute later her nose started to bleed, but she was in some kind of trance she was dizzy and when she fell down I helped her lay down, she didn't stop describing until the shots sounded. After that, she fainted, I think. I was so scared I didn't know what happened until Dante came and told you all were ok"

The bleeding had already stopped, but she had a high fever. That was when it came to me.

To Hayley's surprise, I took her hand, which was cold as always and put it on Rose's forehead.

"Stay like this, she has a fever and needs something cold, and for some reason you have a cold aura around you". Hayley was surprised by my words and sat closer to Rose.

Afterwards, I used the same technique with Rose and checked her condition, the feeling was similar to hope's but worse. She used her power way over her limit.

I went out a second, took a cloth from the kitchen and soaked it in water the main thing right now was to lower Rose's fever.

I went back into the room and put the cloth under Hayley's hand.

"Keep this cold". She didn't understand, but stayed like before with her hand on the cloth.

'Change to wide color range view'

My view changed again, and I noticed that the white aura around her hand intensified a little, I gave her a little smile.

I told her what happened after Rose fainted and how Hope's condition wasn't good either.

"Are they going to be ok?"

"Hope condition is much better than Rose's and I think she is going to wake up soon, Rose's case is more complex she is going to take more time to recover and I can't say that there will be no after effects".

"I need to tell G about Rose's condition, can you change her clothes? He definitely will want to come see her".

"No problem" I left the room and went to Hope's room to inform G of the situation.
