Farsian: The King Of Vampires

Andrew was stunned when he heard Joelle talk about being a group of bandits so casually. Was she just naive? Andrew wasn't sure but he could tell that she was not a bad person.

"Yes we are bandits, are you going to rat us out?" Jessika answered before he could.

"No of course not. In fact I was thinking about something while I was seeing Nimble get cornered." Joelle smiled at Jessika she really liked that girl. Maybe it was because Jessika was a natural born beauty even at her age? Her blonde hair was falling over her shoulder and down her small c.h.e.s.t she had a ponytail haircut and dark brown eyes. She wore a dirty tank top but because it was black to begin with you couldn't see the dirt. She also wore some leather shorts and boots that almost went to her knee.

"Thank you again for saving him." Andrew said very respectfull to her.

"Oh no problem, but does that happen often? I might not be around when they come back for more." Joelle turned from Jessika to Andrew as she said that.

"So what should we give up and never come out of our houses again?" Nimble said irritated.

"No we can't do that we still have to bring money and food to our familys." Andrew chipped in.

"Actually what I wanted to say was work for me ok?" Joelle said with a smile these children had a really hard live.

"What?" Almost all of them said in union.

"You know I could pay you, even if you don't steal anything at all. What do you say?" Joelle said with a big grin she knew that a stable income was something very important to these kids who only knew uncertainty.

"What do we have to do? I can't say yes now but if it's not to hard I would like to try." Andrew said as the representative of the group.

"Oh nothing much, really. All you have to do is listen for information here and there what do you say?" Joelle tried to make it as tempting as possible she apparently had a heart for kids.

Andrew saw at his friends who were all smiles and knew that this was propably the best job they were ever gonna get. Who knows if she is really a noble they could earn as much as 2 silver coins per month.

(Author: Sorry to interrupt here but the thought bubble is full already, I really should stop thinking so much... Anyways I decided to go with the classic currency 1 gold > 100 silver > 10k copper. Maybe the emperor is gonna make a reform in the near future because he runs out of copper but for now thats ok. Also a loaf of bread is like 10 copper so don't think im paying them to less.)

"We would like to work for you young master!" Andrew said and the others chimmed in with a chorus of "Young master!".

"Good now that everything is taken care of how about we play another game of hide and seek?" Joelle said also full of smiles.

At the evening when it was time for the children to go home Joelle and the kids said goodbye to one another. After their goodbye Joelle started sprinting towards the gates she had wasted almost a full day playing with the kids, she had to hurry now.

At the gates.

"Haha now kid what do you think pretty good, eh?" The guard in charge said while playing his cards.

On the other side of the table was another guard holding his cards so that nobody could see them.

"Hah old geezer you really think you beat me? Think again!" With that the younger of the two was showing his cards. They were playing cards and it seems like the young one had the better cards.

"Nooo how is this possible you demon those were my last bucks! Now I have to ask my brother if he can pay for the rent this month." The older guard said full of dismay. He allready did that twice in the last months and his only hope to pay his brother back was to win in these card games but no matter how good his cards were he always lost, how strange right?

"Haha, I'm sorry old geezer want me to give you a loan?" The young guard said. He was cheating to win and he knew that the old guy was bad with money but he also knew that he had a loan shark at his own heel so he needed the cash more.

"No it's alright my brother is very rich and has a nice family I'm sure he will help me out." The 10 silver on the table slowly changed ownership.

"Hey what is that! Watch out somebody is comming!" A guard outside the guardpost said alerting everyone that there would be trouble soon.

As Jack and the old man Glucides were walking out of the guard post they could see someone or something? What ever it was it was very fast and it's coming in their direction.

"Prepare for impact!" A guard screamed. He had to scream that, last week a Titan was running at full speed and broke the gate in two. The guards at the wall prepared to be trown in the air and the guards at the ground tried to intercept what was coming at them.

But something strange happened right before this raging beast made contackt with them it turned into another street and vanished from sight. Obviously they couldn't let such a thing run rampage in the streets so a small group of guards made their way there, but all they could find was a beautifull young lady scared out of her wits by what ever just ran past her.

No matter how hard they searched they wouldn't be able to find it, that was because the young lady was allready past the guard post and out of the city by the time it all calmed down.
