Gazing at the two moons above I let my thoughts fly around. I waited for a few moments when a presence entered the Bounded Field. Noticing the familiar signature, I let him in. Opening the door is the solemn look of Yamada. Nodding at him he quickly paced himself in the only table in the room and pulled out stuff from his item box. If a third party sees this, they will surely feel we are going to do something dangerous. Checking my item box also we listed out the things we have.

Nodding satisfyingly at our preparations we waited for a few minutes silently till Ruby popped out herself voluntarily and with a swish of pages a projection flew out and the old man of the jewel's visage appeared.

"Hmm! For a short period of time you guys have surprising growth." Zelretch said with approval. Nodding to himself he noticed our solemn look and he chuckled.

"Calm down… if you kept having those long faces I would be troubled asking you these kinds of tasks." He said, noticing our tense look we faced each other and relaxed.

"Before that could you please drink these." He said and suddenly two small bottles appeared in front of us. Drinking the strangely sweet liquid a magical light suddenly flashed in our body before vanishing quickly. Noticing our confused looks Zelretch said.

"Those potions are something similar to the Fountain of Youth. The task you are going needs you guys to have a slightly younger body to work out so I needed you two to drink them. The real magic will start when you arrive so don't worry, a basic kind of knowledge will be drilled in your head when you arrive so no suspicion will befall on you." Zelretch said with a smile.

"What is our job anyway…?" I asked finally, to be honest I am slightly still confused that even this old foggey can't fix it alone.

"I supposed you need a break down for your task eh~" The troll said with a smiling face. "Hmm where to start… basically I need you two to let someone survive an incident that should had not killed him. You see this guy is pretty famous in certain circles and I accidentally befriend him back in the day, I already saw multiple occurrence of what might happen to him but when I accidentally met him the 'bad end' scenario's chances increased to certainty."

Noticing our look of puzzlement, he seemed to read our mind for a bit and the next sentence blanched out both of our heads.

"Well… back in the day we hit it off and various things happened to the point the gods and the world's will there… practically banned me from entering." He said embarrassingly. What the hell did you do! We mentally retorted. For this troll to be banned not just by the gods but even the world's will from entering what did this crazy bastard do!

Ignoring this guy aside for there to be someone out there in the Multiverse to hit it off with this guy. I won't question if he was some sort of devil incarnate even.

"Jokes aside I will maintain the bounded field here personally so don't worry. Even if you stay there for a year I can pull it out that a single night will pass bye here. Aside from that I think you should look at your status for a bit so you can get remember the changes that person will probably teach you things a lot, I can guaranty you guys will get strong if you stick around him unless you die… probably" Ignoring the hidden meaning Zelretch told us we properly looked at our status since 3 months ago.

Noticing the improvements of myself I nodded cheerfully. That 3 months of training was surely not wasted alright. Looking at the serious look of Yamada he seems to be also genuinely happy. Us heroes can personally access our status but Yamada's teacher actually banned him and Lee Hyun to check their status unless something important is needed to be checked. In her own words 'Don't use such a convenient tool to check on your body condition but through your all senses!' She said at that time, I was there when she said it so I kind of got the habit also. Aside from me not reaching the 2nd Circle Yamada was actually much faster than me for the guy is already approaching Middle State of the Second Stage of Qi Cultivation. Personally I am slightly jealous of his master when I accidentally saw them. Like really!? They were actually flying using a sword! Is what I thought at that time, even Lancer got curious but they were too fast at that time. I merely saw them in a split second I felt she was smugly smiling at me at that time or it's just an illusion. I remember later on that I heard two pathetic screams though.

Noticing that we are already ready Zelretch clapped to gain our attention and said; "It seems you guys are already ready so without further ado… enjoy your trip~."

Then I felt the floor vanishing and blacked out…

With the strong head ache alongside the memories being dump in my head I felt a strong familar whisper from afar.

"D..o..n… …g…e… h…t b… …t..h… ...b…a…!!!" I remember the familiar voice of my new old man Lugh. But his voice this time feels like a broken radio.

When suddenly my head ache vanishes and felt the hard soil, I was suddenly standing alongside kids looking at a pedestal in front. There, an expressionless old man standing in the podium and addressed us with cold and detached voice.

"Now, my fresh hatchlings with eggshell stuck on your feathers, welcome. I am the one in charge of Squad 1, Instructor Naruan."

Skimming the newfound memories, I have I cannot help but look at the cold old man who would train us for 2 years.
