Aldarion was sitting at the base of a tree, resting in the shade while he ate something.

It had been two days since he had started his trip to the farm and, even though he was happy to start his adventure, he thought that if he did not get used to walking all day and sleeping outside, he could even leave the idea of adventure

Aldarion's back was shattered from sleeping on the floor and his feet were very tired from walking.

On the other hand, Aldarion was also happy, because when he left Bree and his departure was considered official, the system imposed a new mission called 'Meet Cirdan'. Even though Cirdan had not appeared in the movies, he was very important.

Cirdan was one of the lords Teleri, one of the three peoples of the high elves; also, he was Narya's possessor of the ring of fire, one of the three rings of power given to the elves. In addition, as if it were not enough, he is the guardian of one of the Palantir, specifically the Stone of Elostirion.

'I wonder if Cirdan will let me look at the Palantir...' - Aldarion could not stop thinking about it since he knew he had to meet Cirdan. Not everyone could say that they have looked through one of the famous magical stones and, even though that stone only shows the sea, it was still a great experience in life that Aldaron was not willing to let go.

Apart from dreaming about that idea, traveling alone had left Aldarion a long time to think about several things. For example, he had to learn to get his own food when he was alone, because, even though he had left Bree with provisions, they would not last him forever.

Aldarion had some knowledge about berries, like berries, from his previous life on Earth, but, being another world, he did not want to risk poisoning himself. Therefore, he would wait to find someone to teach him something.

That same day, Aldarion had already tried to hunt some rabbit, but whenever he approached, he ended up calling the attention of the rabbit and they escaped.

Failing so many times was desperate, he needed to learn to hunt if he wanted to eat in the future. Even disturbed, Aldarion realized that little by little, with each attempt, he was able to get closer to the prisoners, so in his current rest, he was analyzing all the movements he had done to know that he had done well, and what he had done wrong.

Thanks to his insight, he learned that the fact of being able to approach was because each time he paid more attention to his surroundings in an unconscious way, so he made less noise. This led him to realize that he was on the right track, so he got up with determination and he continued on his way, thinking about when he would meet another prey and he could implement his new theory.

....

That same day, a few hours later.

Aldarion had been very vigilant during his march in case he saw any animal and, finally, after a few hours walking, he had managed to see a rabbit.

The rabbit was quietly chewing something in its mouth, quiet, las if it had nothing to worry about. Aldarion could not miss this opportunity.

Without getting nervous, Aldarion grabbed his bow and prepared an arrow. Looking around, he observed which was the best route to approach the rabbit.

Having chosen one, Aldarion began to walk without stopping to see where he stepped. He did not want to step on any branch or something that could make noise and alert the rabbit.

Aldarion tensed the bowstring and pointed at the rabbit. Then, he breathed several times to relax his pulsations, he held his breath in a moment and fired.

The arrow shot out and, without making any noise, crossed the space between him and the rabbit, quickly digging into the animal's body and killing him instantly.

"Ding! The user has killed a rabbit. +5 experience points". - At the time the rabbit died, a warning of the system came to Aldarion.

"Ding! The user has obtained the ability 'Stealth (F)' ". - Without giving him time to react, a second warning sounded in his head.

Aldarion's eyes were wide open and he blinked occasionally. He was very surprised, because not only had he managed to kill the rabbit, but he had gained experience for it and, if that was not enough, he had achieved a skill that would be very useful.

If he managed to develop this ability, not only would it be much easier for him to hunt, but it could save his life in the future.

Aldarion was so happy for his achievement that he ran out to collect the fruit of his effort. He approached the rabbit, took the arrow out carefully so as not to break it, put it in the quiver and he kept the rabbit in his inventory to eat at dinner.

In fact, thinking about the dinner, he realized that it would soon begin to get dark, so he started back on his way, but this time looking for a place where he could spend the night that was more or less sheltered.

Aldarion had to walk for another half hour until he saw a ledge on a stone wall forming a small cave. This cave was perfect, it would shelter him from the wind and allow him to light a small bonfire to cook the rabbit he had hunted.

Having lit the fire, Aldarion took out the rabbit and, since he didn't have a knife, he had to use his sword to gut and skin the dead animal. After preparing the rabbit, Aldarion pierced it with a branch and placed it on the stake to cook it.

'Mental note, get a knife when you have a chance.' - Aldarion said to himself.

Once he saw that he was already well cooked, Aldarion enjoyed his good food and he went to sleep. Not that he was going to get much rest, but he knew that this was the best he could do.
