Major Sharpe and his second in command Second Lieutenant Charlie Johnson are currently having a conversation, reflecting on what has been recently. They would be walking through the camp where the refugees were currently staying. They would be in standard military uniform, reading over forms and reports.

Johnson is holding up a recently made map of the area. "Latest report says there's a large enemy force in the north... around this town."

"Yeah, Lieutenant Colonel Sanders says that is a no-go zone until the airfield is built. So where are going to go east from this road point here." Sharpe will respond to.

Both will continue talking about their up and coming mission. As they walk, they suddenly would be blocked by blue air magic girl Lelei.

Both of them will stop and then look at her. "Hey Lelei, I hope all the arrangements are meeting to your standards." Sharpe will say her, taking off his sunglasses.

"Yes, they are. It is all amazing on what you have. You can create light in darkness from these little glass devises and the beds are very comfortable." She says back to him in her normal academic tone. As she talks, she will begin to look at Sharpe sunglasses, fascinated by them.

Both of them will notice her sudden interest and chuckle. Sharpe will hand his pare of sunglasses to her.

"What are these I notice you were wearing them before. I see a lot of you wearing them." Lelei a.s.s as she analyze them.

"They are called sunglasses." Johnson says. "They are meant to help block the sun from your eyes. However though, there are many different kinds of glasses. Some help with reading, other make you look you look fancy." He finishes saying, slightly posing a little.

Then Sharpe will shake his head at what his friend said. "And yet your still single."

Right then Johnson would elbow him and chuckle. "So are you."

"Hey... ok. But is everything ok Lelei? Is there any issue you need? I owe you." Sharpe asks.

"Yes, I do have a question. I have noticed all the dead dragons out there in the field and I was wondering why you haven't harvest their scales?" Lelei will ask.

They will look confused by her question. "Ahhh, what would we do with them? We can't mount their heads or anything." Johnson will say.

"Why would we? Do they have some kind of worth?" Sharpe ask her, showing how little the understand this world economics.

"They are very valuable. Merchants would pay a lot of coin for just one. I was wondering if you were going to harvest them." Lelei will explain.

Sharpe will rub his beard thinking. "Well, we have no use for something like that. Our people gather everything we wanted for study, and that was more for research reasons then profit."

She then tilts her head and think. "So, can I have them?"

"Well, I do not see why not. The bodies are just laying there. But I don't know. Being around those dead bodies, especially at your age. I might be able to arrange something..." Sharpe says before being interrupted by Lelei.

"You do not need to worry about my age. I do not know much about your world, but dead is a normal part of life. A day doesn't go by not seeing a dead body off the road, for many different reasons. It sounds like you have removed death from your world but in ours, this is the norm." lelei explains to him, her expression showing that this is just normal.

"She has a point boss. Human history is all about bloodshed. This is normal for these people." Johnson says to his CO, taking Lelei side.

Sharpe thinks for a second. "Fine, you made your point. But I do not want you going out there alone."

"I have Rory going with me. You have nothing to worry about." Lelei responds quickly, already expecting a statement like that from him.

"... fine." The truth is, Sharpe still isn't thrilled. Yes, Rory is this demi goddess that can't die and has amazing strength and speed. But she looks like a 12 year old still girl, even though she's over nine hundred years old. His protective side is telling him to say no. "Go through the proper checkpoints and use my name if anyone bothers you."

She smiles at getting the approval but then Johnson will ask a question.

"Hey, so what are you planning on doing with those dragon scales? We don't need them. Who are you planning on selling them to?" Johnson asks her.

"There is a town up north called up Italica. It is a major trading hub for the region and is not too far from here. It only takes a week by wagon. I should be able to find a buyer there." Lelei answers the question.

Sharpe and Johnson will look at each other after Lelei says that. After a quick few nods, thinking about the mission proposal they look back at her.

"We are planning another recon mission. If you like, we can take you there." Sharpe responds.

Lelei smiles by the news, loving the idea. "I think that will be great."

"Alright then, gather what you can, we leave in four days. Be ready." Sharpe says.

And then he will see her do a makeshift salute to him. It was cute, she probably has seen the other soldiers do that to him because he is an officer. He and Johnson will salute back to her.

As they begin to part paths, Lelei suddenly stop them again. "I am sorry Major but there is one other thing. That girl from the village Selina, she has been wanting to talk to you but has been afraid to ask you. That is what Rory told me."

That will get his attention and stop him. He looks at her confused. "Ahhh, what's up?" He has stopped by their tent every day whenever he could, checking up on them, seeing if they needed anything. He has learned a lot about this world from them, but that girl has been very quiet. He just assumed that she is just shy, which is understandable after what she been through. "Ok, I will go check up on her."

"Another question." Lelei says again.

"Man lady, you got a lot of questions." Johnson will comment, thinking it is funny.

"What do you mean by what's up? Are there flying creatures in your world too or is there something else?" lelei asks him, confused by that expression these Other Worlders have been saying.

Johnson pats Sharpe on the left shoulder. "I got it sir, go ahead."

He will nod his head and then shot him a 'be nice' glare. He then looks back at Lelei. "See you later."

Lelei will wave goodbye and then begin asking Johnson even more questions.
