Give Me Love

Chapter 4 - Missing You

~ RECAP ~

I sighed, stood up and walked back to our house. By the way, I am working in JE Conglomerates as a Vice President. Mr. Kitagawa-san is the President of JEC and also my uncle. He doesn't have a child so nobody could inherit the company aside from me and Aichie. I decided to help him manage JEC. My nee chan will be the one who's going to be in charge of our own company so there's no problem with that. I returned home and prepared myself for another tiring day.

RYOSUKE YAMADA's POV

I just finished putting my suit on in front of the mirror when I noticed that my tie is loosened up. I couldn't help but to smile bitterly.

Come on, Ryosuke! You are the vice president of your uncle's company! Be a good example to your employees and be professional. - Yana

She always say that everytime she sees that my necktie wasn't fixed properly. I bowed my head down. In everything I do... I still remember her. How could I ever forget her?

I am now in front of the company's door office. I took a deep breath and plastered a smile on my face. I don't want to make them worry too much. I opened the door and walk as faster as I could towards my own office. This is not me.

KOTA YABU's POV

"Hey, Kei. Kaichou wants you to revise this." I said as I approached him in his desk and gave him the papers that Kaichou gave to me just now.

"Anyway, did you finish the report already?" I asked while he scanned the papers that I gave him. I'm Kota Yabu, Kitagawa Kaichou's Personal Secretary.

"Okay. I'll just finish this first." Kei Inoo said while fixing the papers I gave him. I took a glance on what he's doing in his laptop. Hmmm...? Kinda hard. I was about to say something when someone opened the door of the office and I saw Ryosuke came in without greeting us and continued to walk towards his office. That's unusual.

"What happened, Kota?" Kei asked.

"Ryosuke's still not over with her." I said and saw him sighed. Honestly, I don't think, he will get over with Yana-chan, the only girl that Ryosuke ever loved.

RYOSUKE YAMADA's POV

I am currently sitting in my office while reviewing some doc.u.ments. The meeting just ended and I have so many doc.u.ments that I need to review when I suddenly took a deep breath and lean on my swivel chair. I can't concentrate anymore. Honestly speaking, my office is full of our pictures. Pictures of a happy marriage... Pictures of a happy family. I took the picture frame on top of my desk. This picture was taken during my son's 3rd birthday last year. I bowed down my head while holding the picture frame and for some reason, my tears escaped my eyes again. Two weeks from now it will be Ren's 4th birthday and a month after will be our 5th wedding anniversary. My tears continued to fall. I'm remembering every special event, moments that me and Yana shared when I could no longer be with her. I covered my eyes with my other hand while my other is holding the picture frame. A few months ago... everything was fine... Few months ago, my life is not miserable as this. I miss them... I miss my wife and my son.

*knock knock*

I startled when I heard someone knock on the door. I immediately wiped my tears and placed back the picture frame on my desk before I spoke.

"Come in." I said professionally and I saw Kawashima Hana, my secretary enter my office.

"Kaichou wants to talk to you." She said while smiling. I just nod, stood up and walk through her but she suddenly stopped me on my arms.

"R-ryosuke-san, I---" I heard she called me and stopped me from walking. I looked at her and I saw her tremble.

"Stop calling me with my name. I never gave you permission to do that. You don't have any right to touch me or call me by my name. YOU ARE NOT MY WIFE." I said and I saw her bow down her head while still holding my arms. This woman is getting on my nerves.

"You are just my secretary so, if you love your job that much then let go of me, don't get too close to me and don't ever call me by my name again. Do you understand?" I said and she immediately let go of my arm, distant herself with me while still trembling. I don't care if she collapses here. She's one of the reasons why I'm miserable.

"H-hai, Vice President! G-gomenasai." She said then bowed down. Tsk. Stupid girl. I continued to walk and went out of my office while buttoning my suit. I honestly don't like her. Why? It's not because she's not good with her work but because she's one of the reasons why my wife left me. I hate her but I can't fire her just because of that. I'm professional and she should at least be grateful with it.
