~ RECAP ~

"H-hai, Vice President! G-gomenasai." She said then bowed down. Tsk. Stupid girl. I continued to walk and went out of my office while buttoning my suit. I honestly don't like her. Why? It's not because she's not good with her work but because she's one of the reasons why my wife left me. I hate her but I can't fire her just because of that. I'm professional and she should at least be grateful with it.

RYOSUKE YAMADA's POV

I'm currently walking towards Kaichou's office when I saw Kota. Kota Yabu, my uncle's personal secretary and one of my best friends. He looks troubled. Doushite?

"Kota." I called him and saw him looked at me.

"Ryosuke." He said as he approach me.

"Are you okay?" I asked and I saw him sighed while scratching the back of his head.

"Your uncle seems to be in a bad mood." He whispered. Eh?

"Did he scold you?"

"No. He just gave me tons of work." He said then showed me the files that my uncle gave him. Oh, that's right. You will know when Kaichou is in a bad mood when he give his employees tons of works. *sigh* I should prepare myself.

"See?" He said then sighed again. He looks exhausted. I borrowed the one white folder to him then opens it.

"But look at this for a second, Kota. You can make some changes here and here." I suggested while pointing the things he should change in the report. Kaichou is definitely in a bad mood today.

"Sou ka. Thanks, Ryosuke. Another thing, two of our important employees are on leave." He said after I returned the folder to him. Eh? Dare?

"Who?" I asked.

"Yuto and Yuri." He said while looking at me.

"Did something happen?" I asked. Wait, did I miss something here?

"I'm not sure but Yuri said that his wife and son are coming back home from Shizuoka while Yuto takes care of his son but don't tell it to anyone, okay?" He simply said then wink at me.

"Doushite?"

"Because they just told that to me personally. They did not tell that to the HR head." He whispered. Oh... I just nod.

"Sou ka..." Those guys... *sigh*

"Anyways, I better go now. Mr. President assigned me to do something for him." He said. I just nod and he walked back to his desk. What a tiring day for us, I guess.

I took a deep breath before knocking on the door. For some reason, I feel so uncomfortable maybe because uncle is not in the mood. *sigh* I heard Kaichou told me to come in so I came in and saw him waiting for me.

"Good thing, you're here now. Let's talk." Mr. President said seriously and told me to sit in the chair in front of his. I sat there and listen to him.

"This is about the crisis that we are now facing. What are you going to do with that? I want to hear out what are your plans." Uncle said before I sat up straight and looked at him. The plan that he is talking about is how to bring back the trust of the people on JEC. JEC is now having a problem with one of our business partners. Well, it is kinda big problem but it's easy to solve. We just need to set a meeting with Mr. Takahashi and if he agrees then everything's solve. Not unlike, my marriage. Even if how hard I tried, I know that nothing will change. She will never come back to me.

KOTA YABU's POV

"Sekai Gakuen huh." I said while looking at the paper that Kaichou gave me a while ago. He asked me a favor if I could pick up his grandson from the day care because Yana-chan can't pick him up. Yes, you heard it right. I'm going to pick up Ren-chan in Sekai Gakuen. Honestly, Kaichou is in good mood today. He even gave all the employees a one day 'day-off' if we just go with the flow with his plan on helping Yana-chan and Ryosuke to make up. So, we are all given tons of works to do today just to make the oh-so-intelligent Vice President of ours believe that Kaichou is in a bad mood today. I also heard that Yana-chan will be visiting the JEC today. Hmmm... Maybe Kaichou is planning something.

I just came to the bus stop and while waiting for it, I checked my schedule for this coming week in my phone. So far so good, because of Kaichou's condition... I'll be having a sunday off this week, so basically, I can go out with my family this weekend. Yes, I'm a married man like my friend, Ryosuke. Mie is a nice person and she becomes so close with Ryosuke's wife, Yana-chan in a very short time. I can say that they're best friends. Oh well, I think I can finally spend time with my wife and son this coming weekend after such tiring work. Time is precious to me, you know. You can't bring back the time you wasted and that's the main reason why Yana-chan left Ryosuke. Ryosuke became workaholic ever since Kaichou promoted him as Vice President of JEC. Well, I can't blame him. That's really a big responsibility after all. Hmmm...? How did I know all of it? Let's say, Kaichou and I have a little chit chat about it just a few days ago. *sigh* I don't know what comes into Ryosuke's mind that he did those things. *sigh* Now, shut up, Kota and wait for the bus quietly. I'm waiting here when I felt a raindrop drop on me. Uh oh. This is bad. I forgot my umbrella at the office. Aish. Then suddenly the rain started to fall. My attention was diverted when I saw the people on my side opening their umbrella's. I immediately put my suitcase on top of my head to cover it. Psh. Such a bad day.
