Long Fan's face changed when he saw Gong Mingue.

He became furious and unable to control his killing intent; he trusted her so much and only believed in her after going through all those sufferings, but to see her betraying him and trying to kill him made a big impact on him.

Gong Mingue looked tire like she hadn't slept in days. She just got out of her dormitory to walk towards the control society when she felt a powerful intent from somewhere which made her feel like she is going to die. She lifted her head towards the direction and found a cloaked person looking at her which sent her chills from her back.

Seeing Gong Mingue looking at him, Long Fan restrained his killing intent knowing this is not the correct place. He looked at her hand which was supposed to be cut off and her tired expression and further confirmed that it should be Gong because he remembered Gong Mingue took her cut of hand before escaping and there are ways to attack severed hand after the selections; he also figured her tired expression is due to her blood loss.

He turned around before he could lose his control and started walking towards the entrance of the school.

Gong Mingue looked at the cloaked man walking away with a strange look, but soon she forgot about him and walked fast towards the control society wit worry filled eyes.

Her eyes were bloodshot while she was thinking with hope 'It's been a week since Long Fan went missing. The control society president asked me to come in a week to tell me about the situation of Long Fan. I hope he is okay.'

She sped up towards the control society thinking about Long Fan and what had happened to him.

Long Fan got out of the school and started moving towards the city barrier. But soon he found the atmosphere felt oppressive as he got closer towards the gate.

When he was couple of minutes away from the gate, he came across a group of three people with the school uniform and weapons on ready. They also saw him and came up to him and blocked his way. Long Fan was surprised that he knew one of the guys, it was Mu Teng who came after killing him and went missing after being chased by the Golden winged crows. He didn't expect Mu Teng to survive the attack of the golden winged crows.

While he was thinking, the guy standing in the middle of the three spoke up aggressively "Remove your cloak and show us your face."

Long Fan thought it might be due to him taking the data but soon discarded that thought, but seeing Mu Teng he thought of something 'Is it possible they knew I came back to the city?'

He wasn't sure of the reason but he spoke in a plain tone "What happened? Why do you want me to remove my cloak? I don't like to show my face to others since I have nasty scar in my face."

As soon as he spoke, the three realized something and surrounded him immediately. Mu Teng blocked his front and spoke in a cold voice "Long Fan, we finally found you. Now let's see what method you can use to escape."

Long Fan realized his mistake a bit late. There is no way anyone in the city will speak to the students accepted by Ender's school this calmly. They will either be scared or fawned over, but Long Fan spoke calmly. But he still didn't understand their actions because even if someone spoke calmly there should be no way for them to decide that it is Long Fan.

He knew he can't hide and took of his cloak and spoke slowly "How did you know it was me? What gave me away? I was pretty sure I entered the city without anyone knowing."

Frankly he already checked their data using the system and was not afraid of them at all. But he tried to probe them because he realized there may be more people and this might help him leave the city safely.

"Hahaha… Well, how can I deny your last wish? Senior sister told us about your bloodline awakening and how it is similar to Zhao Feng. And we have been monitoring for any people using bloodline to enter the city."

"We found you as soon as you entered the city when the bloodline monitor spiked, and we spread in teams to start searching for you. So there was never a way for you to escape. Hahaha… Didn't see it coming, did you?" Mu Teng said in a sarcastic tone.

Long Fan was surprised and at the same time relieved when he heard what Mu Teng said.

He was surprised because he didn't expect because such kind of bloodline monitors are not given to the students to check people. He realized someone who has quite a power in school must be behind the attack on him.

He was relieved because they thought he just awakened his bloodline and not devour Zhao Feng's bloodline which would save him lots of trouble.

He asked again "Even though what can you do to me? You are not publicly allowed to kill students or even detain me without any reason." This also confused him because it is indeed the rules and they are not allowed to wantonly search through the city without permission.

Before Mu Teng could answer anymore, the guy who asked him to remove his cloak first spoke "Mu Teng, stop wasting time. People are already looking and more will gather around. Let's kill him fast and take his body."

Long Fan knew he can't delay anymore and immediately equipped all his weapons from his storage system and attacked Mu Teng directly.

Mu Teng was ready for his attacks and tried to block, but he didn't know that Long Fan has improved his overall strength more than twice in the past few days.

Long Fan ducked and moved on the sides of Mu Teng and cut his abdomen. He went past him; immediately turned around and slashed his neck on back of his neck. Mu Ten eyes became large in shock before he fell forward and died.

Long Fan immediately bolted right towards the gate. He could have clashed directly with Mu Teng and killed him but he realized he need to kill him fast and escape. And the continuous fight for the past few days gave him enough battle experience to use various methods to kill their enemies easily and quick.

The other two blocking two other directions didn't expect Long Fan to initiate the attack and kill one of them so easily. They immediately gave chase to him while informing the people guarding the gates about the situation.

The people looking around where also shocked with the turn of events. They didn't expect there was someone who dare to kill in public, that too students of Ender school.

Long Fan didn't care about any of this and increased his speed further. He also devised a plan to get out of the city knowing there will be people waiting for him at the city barrier gate. He knew he can't depend on his bloodline to escape since they will have bloodline monitor. He also didn't know if there are also people waiting outside the city.

He switched to the Fast Speed boots his parents gifted and increased his speed to the maximum and reached the city barrier gate within the minute.

He found there are five people blocking the barrier gate and was relieved.

He switched the boots back to Floater boots and approached them while wielding his daggers. The five become tense and alert when he approached them. They heard how easily he killed Mu Teng through the communication just now.

But what he did when he got close to them surprised them and caught them unprepared.

Long Fan never wanted to engage them in fight and his only thought was to escape the city. He activated the special power of the Floater boots and jumped above them; he floated and reached high on the barrier gate where a human can't reach easily and disappeared from their sight.

Seeing such a turn of event, everyone was dumbstruck and immediately contacted the people inside the city and outside the city of the developments, and rushed through the barrier to chase after him.

Long Fan came outside of the city and saw many people looking at him. But he didn't find any students of the school; he realized it might be because there wasn't enough time for the team who went out to find him to come back since he spent less than 2 hours to accomplish everything in the city.

He activated his bloodline and disappeared before anyone could react and escaped in a direction.
