By the time, the group of five came out of the city after informing that Long Fan escaped, he was long gone.

Since there are many people here, it was hard for them to specifically track his bloodline trace using the monitor. He only thought if Yucca ad informed him earlier he might have planned better way to hide and escape once things calmed down.

Long Fan could only nod since it's already happened and it can't be changed. He warned her to not make the same mistake again in the future.

The school announcement did make many of his doubts clear. He already suspected that someone higher in school is behind everything, and now he was sure of it. He highly doubted it might even be the Envoy in control of the city since it has to be announced to the city defense team if the school has to act in such a way, but within an hour of his entrance to the city the school has started searching for him.

He also suspected it might be related to his parents went missing since he didn't make any powerful enemies. He even suspected that the Origin root system might be because of his parents and asked Yucca, but she was tight lipped about it so he could only let it go.

He changed the topic and asked her "So, any good haul from collecting the data from school?"

'Yes master, lots of good things. Apart from the data regarding information about students and mutated beasts, I have also found various monitoring devices regarding checking one's bloodline power limits, a person's strength, etc. These are the devices used by school to test a student's strength and bloodline power levels.'

Long Fan was happy to hear that and understood another function of the Origin root system; it can use any function of devices she come across since she did that with the silver ring and now the monitoring device sand strength devices.

He asked enthusiastically "So, you can find the data of all the humans and mutated beasts we come across in the future?"

'Not just that master, the school devices can only calculate the strength and bloodline from the power they released. But I have improved the function by using the data I have collected in the school and Asmodius to upgrade it. Now, it can show everyone's function without their power being released and I can detect most of their details based on the c.u.mulative data.'

She paused and continued 'But, this data won't be 100% perfect master. This data is only from this city, and we need to collect data from more cities to increase my collection and make it more perfect. Also, I have only full data's until 3rd level mutated monsters and humans who upgraded their bloodline twice. If you come across anyone higher than that, the data wouldn't be complete.'

Long Fan understood what she was getting at, and he formed a plan on what to do from now. He needs to travel to more cities and collect lots of data and at the same time to improve his strength further before thinking about finding a way to find information about his parents.

Long Fan knew he is not strong enough to confront them with his current strength but he can improve faster than them with the help of the Origin root system and the cultivation knowledge from the other soul of Long Fan.

While he was making his way to his hideout while making plans for the future, there are various things happening in the city he just escaped from.

Gong Mingue was walking back from the control society in a listless expression. She couldn't believe what she heard from them and the announcements in the school system regarding Long Fan. There was news about his expulsion and arrest for killing his fellow students; there was even the latest news about him killing inside the city and escaping the city.

He was portrayed as someone who forcefully awakened his bloodline and becoming a demon due to losing control of his bloodline powers. She couldn't believe the turn of events but then she remembered the last time she saw how he was humiliated by Dong Cheng and left out of the city. She felt sad about what had happened to Long Fan and blamed everything on Dong Cheng; she vowed to make him pay for it.

At the same time, in the Envoy's building top floor, a middle aged man walked out of the Envoy's office with a stern face.

He was the vice principal of the school, Chu Li, who had just met with the envoy regarding the news about Long Fan. He is sullen because he was reprimanded by the envoy for taking actions without informing the envoy and was demoted to a normal teacher.

He was planning to take over the position of envoy and was fighting with him since the start of the selections but now he was demoted to a normal teacher because he failed capturing Long Fan. The envoy has used the chance to demote him and now he wasn't sure he can depend on his backer to fight back against the envoy because he failed to capture Long Fan.

He gnashed his teeth thinking about how much he paid for killing Long Fan; he paid many teachers for making them stand by his side in making false accusations to pass the order, and also paid lots of adventurers as witness through money and his power. He spent a quarter of his savings for this, but he didn't get any result in the end and was also found out by the envoy. Now his only hope is that the teams outside the city will be able to catch Long Fan successfully.

If he can't get any results in time and let Long Fan escape, he knows he will have to pay a heavy price more than losing money and getting demoted to a teacher. He remembered the person who informed him of the treasure with Long Fan and get it back no matter what it takes. It sent down a shiver down his spine when he remembered how cruel that person was and what will happen to him because of it.

He contacted all the students under him to go out of the city to find Long Fan whatever it takes, and at the same time.

Inside the office, The Envoy, Li Tian, tapped on the table slowly thinking about Long Fan and his parents. He knew the vice principal has been after Long Fan since his parents went missing and he has been helping him without anyone knowing, but he didn't expect Chu Li to be more aggressive this time and do it aboveboard and making Long Fan as a murderer and demon.

It did help him demot Chu Li to a normal teacher and it will be easier for him to suppress Cu Li's faction of teachers and students for a while, but he felt he wronged Long Fan's parents. He promised to take good care of their son, but now he failed.

He felt helpless at the same time because Chu Li had a backer from the hidden city who is higher ranked than him. He sighed and muttered "I can only do so much with my power for your son Long Hongtian, the rest only can be handled by your son."

Long Fan almost reached his hideout and he wanted to take rest; he felt tired by all the turn of events today and he just wants to take rest and relax his mind. But fate had a different idea for him because he came across one of the team that was searching for him near his hideout.

His bloodline power was still in cool down so he can't even hide properly and got found out by the team. The team approached him with full of hostility and the one leading them is the person, He Xing, who talked to the masked man Chu Li, regarding his senior sister and volunteered to hunt down Long Fan.

He Xing rushed at Long Fan with anger on his face while releasing his power and Long Fan could see his power is higher than initial bloodline awakened warriors.
