Under the vigilant watch of Peter and his men, the mysterious man in the dark cape slowly walked over. He only stopped when he almost hit the light curtain. The man raised his right hand and knocked the light curtain a few times. Every single action of him was drawing attention from Peter and his men.

They were being very careful and also afraid. Because once the guardian shield could not stop the mysterious man, they might be in a big trouble. Although they have sworn to fight against the evil, they are not yet stupid enough to stand off against a very powerful person who can kill them easily with a flick of his finger.

But now, they got no choice and all they could do was just hoping the mysterious man would not be able to break into the guardian shield.

Fortunately, only a few small waves appeared on the light curtain and nothing happened. The man felt the burning pains of his fingers. He was surprised.

The mysterious man neglected the armored guys in front of him and looked at the small light sphere above the sky carefully. He was really interested. While slowly feeling the situation of the light sphere which was floating and absorbing the sun lights at the 12km height in the sky, the man murmured.

“When such a powerful God in the light path appeared in this small Godforsaken place?”

He turned his attention back to the armored guys behind the light curtain. He felt that these guys might know something since they could be the ones who created this. As for the reason? They might have wanted to be safe from his little guys. The mysterious man immediately thought of almost the whole thing.

He knocked the light curtain several times again and asked, “Hey, do somebody know what years is this and any God of light?”

Peter felt that the mysterious man might be saying something. But he couldn’t hear anything due to the defect of their fully enclosed helmet. He felt that he could have a conversation with the other party, like asking why he did that to the innocent people of this town and who exactly he was. However, he was afraid that he would be infected by strange energies if he took off his helmet. The other guys were also in the same situation.

After all, their fully enclosed armors made by Nsak have some defects but the energy protection function is really good and helpful. Moreover, they could also open the rune state to get extra buffs.

Despite of feeling the faint burning of his fingers, the man continued to knock and asked, “Hey, are you guys knights? Which lord are you serving?”

“Answer me. I know you guys are living beings and not puppets.”

“Answer me. Hey! Which empire is ruling this place now?”

“Knights, have you heard of an old man named Aterus Adsidus? He is a famous traveling mysterious knight lord. He is my father.”

“Talk to me! Why are you guys acting deaf?”

“Answer my questions before I get angry and smash this turtle shell.”

It was all in vain. The mysterious man tried to have a conversation with the guys dressing like heavy knights. He found that these knights were not even moving by his threats. After talking alone for like five minutes, the man stopped and slapped his forehead. He remembered that he got his little guys.

The man waved his hand and a male corpse walked over obediently.

The mysterious man touched the forehead of the corpse with his forefinger for about two seconds. He didn’t find out the information he wanted.

It was half successful. He got many information he wanted. It was unbelievable to think that he had actually slept for nearly three thousands years. Although he found out a lot of information, he still didn’t get what he wanted to know. He called several corpses again and again and looked through their memories. However, he still didn’t get what he wanted.

The mysterious man waved his last remaining corpses to move back so these guys would not be accidentally solved by the modern knights again. Although these little guys were transformed from mortals, they might become handy soon after all.

Dark mists appeared and wrapped the hands of mysterious man. He knocked again. This time, the bigger waves spread across the light curtain as he knocked. His patient was running out. He started to punch the light curtain while talking.

Seeing the man attacking the light curtain, Peter and his men overcame the fear of their instincts. Peter took out his big long barrel specially crafted pistol and started shooting at the mysterious man. Ben and other men also started firing. Even Ronald was attacking with his sniper rifle.

Unfortunately, their attacks didn’t cause any damage to the mysterious man. As soon as they started shooting, a curtain made of dark mists instantly appeared in front of the mysterious man. It blocked all the incoming bullets like the light curtain blocking his punches. But it allowed his hands wrapped in dark mists gloves to pass through it.

Nearly a minute passed. Although various punches from the mysterious man was constantly creating wave after wave on the light curtain, dense purification bullets only caused a few waves at the dark curtain of over two meters high blocking in front of the man.

“Morsius?”

At that time, a cold voice appeared all of a sudden. The man immediately stopped attacking and looked at the roof of a nearby three stories building. Although Peter and his men didn’t hear anything, they also turned their heads to look at the direction which the mysterious man was looking at.

On the red clay roof tiles, a man in long dark robe was sitting. His face was covered in the dark hood. However, one can see the smooth square chin and a rosy red lips. The long robe couldn’t cover his tall and burly body and a neat dark gentleman suit was seen. He looked like a normal person who was addicted to wearing long robes. However, the sharp looking two meters high death scythe and the dark raven on one of his shoulder were showing the unusual status of the man.

Ben patted Peter who was looking at the newcomer and drew his attention. When Peter turned his head to look at Ben, the latter pointed at the drum magazine and opened his palm in front of him. Peter realized that Ben might be asking him for the new drum magazine. He took out a loaded drum magazine from his space ring and shook it in front of his other guys. However, they shook their heads and letting him know that they were not in need. Ronald took out the magazine and checked the remaining bullets.

It turned out that Ben used all of his bullets because he was going on machine gun mode. The rest didn’t need new magazines yet because they were firing with single shot mode. Ronald found out that there were still a few bullets in it. However, he decided to ask for the new magazine. So, he walked over to Peter and also opened up his palm in front of him.

Peter suddenly felt that they were quite funny. But he still took out a drum magazine and a special magazine for Ronald’s sniper rifle from his space ring and gave the two magazines to them.

At the same time, the new mysterious man jumped down from the roof to the street. He landed on the ground with two feet effortlessly and lightly like a cat. The man asked as he pulled back the hood of his long robe showing his face.

He got a well trimmed short blonde hair. His deep golden eyes were very calm without a wave. The man asked, “What have you done, Morsius?”
