As the team proceeded, they met another checkpoint full of police officers before they reached the city.

Since they smoothly passed the previous checkpoint opened by the army, police officers didn’t bother to check them again and let them go easily.

After driving for nearly an hour, they finally reached to their today’s destination; the Origin Church. Strangely, Peter found out on the way that the city was under strict control for unknown reason.

There are officers and soldiers being stationed at the street corners. From time to time, small convoys are also found going patrolling.

In main avenues, there are even checkpoints with tanks. It is as if there is a war going on.

War is not a good thing. In WWII, nearly two millions federal soldiers paid their lives before peace treaty was signed in London, Third Reich, at 10 February 1947. The global world war has caused many families to lose their sons, husbands, dads or brothers.

It has only been several decades and everyone’s memory is still familiar about it. Now, the whole city is full of tense atmosphere. But it is due to mysterious supernatural things.

The only good thing might be the ideal environment without any crime. Although San Christobal has always been a city with very low crime rate, public security is actually a lot better during these days than in the past.

The guns might be useless on supernatural beings but they are still a major deterrent on humans. They can easily calm down angry or scared people.

Thanks to them, riots and crimes due to snaps didn’t occur.

Stopping in the crowded car parking of the church, Peter got out of the car and looked at the familiar cathedral with complex mind. This is where they stepped into mysterious occult world completely. And it is also the place where he got to get together with Jenny.

At this time, Origin Church is actually very crowded unlike usual. Many people are coming and going alone or together with their families and friends. Peter felt that something had happened.

He was not wrong. Since one month ago, several strange and mysterious cases have started to appear. At first, things were not that serious. But slowly, more and more cases related to mysterious things surfaced and even human lives were involved. Now, many people are dragging their families to city.

Strange creatures in folklores. Big foots. Ghosts. Skinwalkers. Evil spirits.

Mankind has always been in disadvantages at against the supernatural mysterious beings and things.

Spiritual energies contaminating with various positive and negative thoughts are all around the whole world. These are all produced and emitted by the living beings.

As long as there is life, there will be more or less spiritual energies in their surroundings.

Due to high density of lives on Tera, spiritual energies concentration is also too high. Normally, Tera itself is cleansing it regularly and there are also Gods who will help by combing and purifying these energies. Then, they would either use these extracted energies as fuels or they would simply just dump them into the 6th dimension.

However, things changed since the plan of Gods started.

The Grand Tera, Gods decided to merge all dimensional worlds they opened back in Tera to strengthen Tera in all aspects. After all, Tera is very special. It is the birth place of Gods and mankind.

Also the home of Goddess Tera.

Under arrangements and settings of Goddess Tera before she went to sleep, Tera will automatically cleanse the spiritual energies by herself. However, other worlds do not have that function.

In the long years of existence, more or less spiritual energies with different attributes have been stored by various strange things in various worlds. Now, after the merger, these spiritual energies came out and they started to affect the environment of Tera.

There is also the fault of Gods in Tera. Because they believed that Tera would cleanse herself, they didn’t seriously take care of all the dead souls.

While the dead souls contaminated with extraordinary things and energies are strictly sent to the Underworld in the 6th dimension, they don’t always take care of dead souls who died from normal ways so seriously.

So, there would always be some who either got lucky or escaped by hiding deep and still staying in the material world. To some of them, who died from filth and unrighteousness of mortal society, what they have are just resentments, anger and sadness.

In the past, their existence was not a problem. They could not make a wave since there was no energy to absorb nor to be affected by after all.

However, the time bomb has surfaced after the great change. Merger of worlds have brought the surge of spiritual energies as Tera could not absorb all the things in time and transform them into her background and foundation.

Dead souls have started to get into contact with spiritual energies with attributes. After taking in negative spiritual energies, they have evolved into evil ghosts or exactly vengeful spirits.

Their soul bodies are affected by the wills in the spiritual energies and they started to go crazy.

Even if some regained their conscious, their soul have already been polluted and it is hard to resist the resentments and killing intents. For many who are being affected by constant impacts of negative energies, it is hard for them to regain the clear mind again. Not to mention that they are already dead.

Living beings can continue to generate negative or positive energies. Moreover, vitality is also very attractive to dead things. Since then, the war between the livings and the deads have started.

It is really hopeless for mortals when they found out that normal weapons had no effect on spiritual beings. At this time, they have found out a lighthouse in the darkness, the occult world and the Gods.

Religions have become their shelter. Gods have become their protectors.

However, it is still unknown whether they can reach to the rightful one or not.

The same scene which Peter is witnessing now has been going on all the same in all other places.

Governments in the world don’t like this kind of out of control situation. But they have no choice.

So, they started to get into contact with local occult society and walk closely together.

Unfortunately, America Federation is an exception due to the particular reason; dominance of capitalism. For the greedy people who only worship rights, power and money, existence of mysterious people and Gods is unacceptable.

Peter suddenly felt that being very popular might not be a good thing. Like eastern famous saying ‘Tall tree attracts wind.’, standing out all of a sudden could lead to a bad situation.

Nevertheless, he is not afraid because he feels that occult world is too strong. Currently, San Christobal is very peaceful. The army, which is currently stationed here, also shows no sign of restricting the religions here as he just imagined.

According to what he noticed on the way and what he is seeing right now, Peter feels that things might not be that troublesome as he thought of. After all, there are also several brothers in uniforms and guns on their backs coming out with badges in their hands from the cathedral just in front of his eyes.

With his great eyesight, he noticed that badges in their hands were with Athena’s symbols. Although he only saw one side of owl, he felt that he was not wrong and there would be Athena’s head at the other side. But, instead of going for Ares or Tyr, why are these guys going for Athena? It bothered Peter.

“Can you feel the warmth of sun? Do you enjoy the safe feeling you can have while walking under the light? Have you ever wished for the light in the darkness?”

Sudden voice which appeared from his side brought Peter back from thinking. When he turned his head to look, he almost didn’t say good guys.

Angel Venus and Cyris have shomehow opened their beautiful white wings and standing in front of his guys with banners. Three banners with symbol of Sun were watched by curious people at first.

But when the white wings suddenly appeared at the backs of two women in nun clothing, everyone was caught off-guarded.

When Cyris asked with her sweet but clear voice, many people were already kneeling.

At least, that was what Peter saw. Good guys. Didn’t we come to report to the church? How did it become like this? Can you also operate this way? Just while Peter was still confusing at the side, a group of priests and nuns have already came out from various buildings and rushed towards them.

After all, Tier two pastors felt the sacred and holy energies which suddenly appeared in the yard. So, they immediately led the low level priests and nuns to welcome the big man.

They were also amazed when they came outside and saw legendary Angels. But they didn’t kneel down like most people. Instead, they walked over and greeted warmly with a slight bow.

“My ladies, humble people and a small place welcome you. Your presence is an honor.”

Angel Venus said calmly, “Get up, people. You don’t need to kneel to us. And pastor, although I appreciate your words but under the light of Lord, every being is equal and every places where the light can reach and every being standing under the light are bathed in glory as long as one is innocent.”
