After informing Pastor Billy about the cause of their coming, Peter looked at a crowd of people sitting on the ground neatly and two ladies who were seriously talking in a calm and clear voice.

They were saying the general history of Tera in turns.

“Wick, Wick Sheffield.”

Peter reached out his hand to shake Wick’s hand and said, “Peter Jorge Lucid. My friends call me Peter. Don’t wrong me with Peter from Peter Griffin with giggity-giggity friend, Quagmire. I won’t wrong you with John Wick either.”

“Don’t worry, man. You still don’t have a big belly yet.”

Wick cracked into smile and said with a pat on Peter’s shoulder. He then coughed twice and regained his usual calm face. After a joke, the two became a little closer in relaxed and got promotion from unknown stranger to familiar.

“I played in third marine corp for two or three years. Most of my team members used to be marines. Two are from army. I noticed on the way that you guys got big guys. Are you from 41st or 42nd infantry division?”

After Peter revealed their servicemen background, Wick also slowly let down his guard.

Before Wick said something as he opened his mouth, Peter raised his hand to stop and completed his words.

“What if most of the victims are families of our brothers in arms?”

Wick suddenly felt that anger was surging and fire was rising in his chest.

Wick licked his lips and asked dryly with a trace of hope. As a middle level officer, he of course understands the darkness and dirty things of federation. But he didn’t expect them to not keep the last bottom line.
