Chapter 11 - Aftermath of Xia Qingyue's Birth

Without knowing what in the heavens was happening, the midwife quickly ran towards Xia Qingyue to check on her condition, her face lit up as she shouted "Master, Mistress, the child is alive and fully healthy, it… it is a miracle!".

When her words had concluded the 5 individuals in the room, the Xia couple, midwife, Xia Hongyi's personal maid and Xiao Ying all started cheering in excitement.

Dongxue who had been maintaining her consciousness during this last sequence simply requested "Hongyi, let me hold our child before I sleep".

To which her husband immediately complied as he noticed her condition and didn't want her to stay awake any longer as her health was also a fragile situation in it of itself.

However Xiao Ying who had been quiet this whole time had finally spoken up in a severe and serious tone "Senior Xia… today's encounter cannot be notified to the public, if they were to find out that my younger brother has a mysterious ability at just the age of 6 months, no matter what the ability, there will those who are jealous of his talents and come to annihilate them because of fear, or because they do not want another rising star in the cruel world that is the cultivation world".

When Xia Hongyi heard what his junior had to say, he had just remembered exactly what the hell just happened, he remembered that the first person to even suggest the fact that his daughter had hope to live was this little guy, then once he spoke Younger Brother Xiao Ying immediately went to recover her situation, however when it seems like he was at his limit and was about to fail, this child asked to be brought to his daughter.

The little guy then placed his hands whilst a mysterious energy covered his daughter, allowing her to be brought back with a full recovery, a still born to a healthy child with high vitality.

'It is indeed as Younger Brother Xiao stated, such a monster would be wanted not only by those in Floating City, but even royalty would scram to bring this child into their confines'.

"This is a direct order, if anyone here dares to say a word of what happened today, whilst I cannot personally say that I will harm you, there is no guarantee that you can escape the punishment of Younger Brother Xiao, especially the demon fifth elder and his Oni wife, understood?" stated Xia Hongyi to the personal maid and midwife in a thunderous voice, who just nodded their head vigorously.

He then turned to his Younger Brother Xiao and knelt down "Younger Brother Xiao, you and your Younger Brother Long have done this Xia Hongyi a favour that not even the heavens can repay, please allow me to repay you this debt of gratitude!"

Xiao Ying who was tending to Yun Long at the time had quickly come over in order to help rise Xia Hongyi back to his feet "Senior Xia, please, think nothing of it… in fact if it wasn't for Long'er I would've eventually failed at bringing back your daughter to a healthy situation".

Xia Hongyi who was still on the floor kneeling shouted in a clear voice "Younger Brother Xiao, please allow me to repay this gratitude…" and when Xiao Ying saw the face that stated 'if you do not agree I will not stop kneeling' he sighed and accepted his fate.

"Okay I understand Senior Xia, however if you continue to kneel I will not listen to anything you will say, do not compromise your dignity over such small favours, as one of the seniors I hold respect and admiration for, this is the b.a.r.e minimum I can accept".

Xia Hongyi who had heard what Xiao Ying said, immediately stood up before bringing Xiao Ying and the unfortunate Yun Long, who fortunately was asleep otherwise he would become the real life equivalent of the fillings of a sandwich, into a hug.

Once he separated he dropped the bomb on his younger brother, and Yun Long who eventually awoke when he had difficulty breathing from being squished between two smelly men "Xiao Ying, I wish to engage my daughter to be your Younger Brother Long's wife when she reaches the age of sixteen".

Yun Long who was currently awake had a slight smile on his face, to think that he would pull the jackpot of jackpots, not only does he get one of the greatest beauties under the heaven, she was also one of his favourite characters from the original timeline.

Not only that he can change her destiny, which has cruelly played her life just because of her plot armour.

'In the original timeline Yun Che went around gathering his women like Pokémon, however other than a short lived romance, and one or two scenarios where he plays the hero saving the beauty, he didn't have much interaction with his so called wife, so in this alternate reality, I will look after your wife very nicely my dear alternate MC, kukuku, why is this internal monologue making me sound like some C-Class villain?'

What Yun Long didn't know that within 16 years he will be a boss level of Yun Che when it comes to collecting girls left and right... haiii, destiny works in extremely humorous ways...

Xiao Ying who was about to reply, heard the exhausted voice of Dongxue "My husband, whilst I do not mind you repaying Younger Brother Xiao, it would be in our best interest to first name our child before we send out the engagement cards" she said with mock anger in an amused tone

"Husband, I want for her to be named Xia Qingyue".

Xia Hongyi who had heard the name was satisfied and just nodded whilst hugging his wife and putting her to rest.

Xiao Ying who had been silently finally stated "Uncle Xia, how can you suggest such a thing, marriage is the most important event for a women in her life, forcing her to marry Long'er just because he saved her is something I dislike, and also I think Long'er would agree with me in the future, you are my respected senior and my attempt at saving her was of my own will, you needn't reward us for it".

Xia Hongyi just had a temperate smile and stated, "It is exactly the character that I believe you will mould him into and his genius and mainly the fact that Qingyue owes her life to him which led to me wanting to engage her to him…" at this point Xia Hongyi kneeled again before shouting "Please accept my gratitude Younger Brother Xiao Ying".

To which Xiao Ying could only grant since it seems that Xia Hongyi would rather break his relationship then allow for him to back out.

"Okay stop kneeling, when they are 16, if neither has any disagreements to the marriage then they shall get married" said an exhausted Xiao Ying, helping Xia Hongyi back up.
