Chapter 32 - Void Core

Yun Long started circulating his vitality from his lower dantian, drawing it towards his middle dantian to connect it permanently towards his Void Core so that his Profound Veins are connected to his body.

However, within 30 seconds Yun Long's vitality had already ran out, and according to the memory, the energy that the Void Core formation requires had not even reached 1%.

Thinking in the back of his head, Yun Long summarised that he will need around 200 drops of each spirit liquid just to form his Void Core.

Yun Long sighed internally, he would be constantly completely expending his energy and instantly replenishing only to keep expending his energy… it would be too much of a burden on his spirit, however this process would increase his soul exponentially.

Shen Xi also understood that the process required much more attention than she had previously estimated.

After an hour, around 120 drops of the pair liquid had been refined and 60% of the void core had formed, however on the outside Yun Long was barely maintaining consciousness, and his clothes had been shredded by the immense aura of the Infinite Origin Void Realm.

Shen Xi who was nearby, felt the worst out of it all, not only had her clothes been completely shredded, the aura was completely destroying the purity of the Land of Samsara.

No, it was instead devouring it, she estimated that if this process took another 10 hours then the previous Well of Transmigration (Samsara), now the Forbidden Land of Samsara will also fall to a second and final calamity.

At 80% an odd situation occurred, the body of Yun Long was covered within a blend of a colourless energy and an energy so dark it would put the devil energy to shame, before circulating towards the outside of the middle dantian as it started creating an energy bridge towards his upper dantian.

This was the process where his soul, spirit and body were all connecting, the Void Core would be the physical manifestation of the bridge between the Infinite Origin Void Realm and the physical body, and the physical realm itself.

Whilst the process looked normal to us readers, to Shen Xi, she could not believe what she was currently witnessing.

Behind Yun Long there was a space crack the size of around 1000 Zhang, and all she could see was the endless void.

Frozen, Shen Xi couldn't move, the fear she felt from the void was something she never felt, not even from the Creation God Sirs.

She could hear the mutter of Yun Long that 'rescued' her soul, which felt like had flown out of her body and had been consumed from the endless void "Xi….er…don't…worry…"

"I'm….here" Yun Long who sensed Shen Xi walking towards the Infinite Origin Void Realm as if she was being mind controlled realised what was happening, he remembered when he first saw the void himself and how it had seduced his soul, so he assumed the same was happening Shen Xi.

So even at the cost of stressing his soul he called her back to reality to make sure she did not fall victim to the void, after all this was because of his negligence.

Shen Xi who had already returned to somewhat normal consciousness after he uttered her name, watched him struggle to say the remaining 4 words, with each one causing more blood to flow out his seven orifices and panicked 'because of my distraction he has suffered too much, he needs to cancel whatever he is doing'

However, once she saw the tranquil eyes of Yun Long, she couldn't muster the energy to speak the words she wanted to say, and just continued to help fuse extra Divine Water of Life into his body.

Yun Long recognised that Shen Xi understood his intention, sighed internally and returned to his cultivation.

Focusing on converting all the colourless energy towards the Vantablack energy that he assumed to be the origin energy (void) and refining the energy from the two spiritual liquids to cultivate vitality, which he in turn used to cultivate his spirit, whilst connecting his spirit to his soul so that he can finally start his cultivation journey.

After another 20 minutes the void core increased another 10% and the physical manifestation of the Infinite Origin Void Realm had reached 2000 Zhang, however Shen Xi no longer paid it any attention, after all her instincts as a True God told her that such a phenomenon was something out of her understanding.

'Is this the legendary Law of Nothingness that Sir Mo E had talked about in the past… then wouldn't the legacy he was talking about the legacy of the Ancestral God?!'

Shen Xi was in her own little world whilst she subconsciously carried on assisting Yun Long. She was close and it would be better for her to think whatever she wants, after all Yun Long was going to seal her memories after this event.

With the conclusion of the end of the void core formation approaching, Yun Long started to float, not by choice, but the surrounding void had made an energy sphere which completely devoured everything in existence.

The last 5% Shen Xi had to remotely infuse the spirit liquid from a distance, but for a profound practitioner of her level it was a simple task, but she was marvelling the scene she witnessed today.

Then all of a sudden everything paused, as if the world had stopped, nothing was happening, time, space, elements, life, death, colour, spirit, soul, reality, nothing was saved.

The only thing that existed in that very moment was one Yun Long, who was completely encased in a Vantablack cocoon of energy.

Shen Xi who was unable to do anything just waited, not by choice, until 3 days later when the cocoon started to crack…

What emerged was a Yun Long who was n.a.k.e.d, curled into a ball like a defenceless animal inducing pity upon the world, his hair grew longer to his hip, much glossier and silkier at the sight.

When he sat up and opened his eyes, Shen Xi felt that the aura around him was completely different, there was an innate suppression within those eyes, as bright as the stars, but as boundless as the void she had witnessed earlier.
