Chapter 73 - Lingxi's Determination

Whilst Yun Long was trying to think of exactly what he was forgetting, he also remembered the situation about Xia Qingyue and Xiao Lingxi's cultivation, after all they had lived within the Forbidden Land of Samsara for a good amount of time, a little under two years to be exact.

He then sent a memory image of how they should stimulate the mark, after all the mark could be considered sentient since it did stuff on its own, such as alerting Yun Long to their danger, or its ability to bring him there through his intent.

As the two girls started stimulating the mark, they had actually disappeared from the face of existence.

After he got them used to the change of gravity, energy and atmosphere, he then started to explain.

"Qingyue, Lingxi, this realm is the greatest treasure in all of existence, make sure to never mention it to anyone, because once people find out that your big brother has such a treasure even the heavens would come to kill your big brother and take it from me, even though it isn't possible"

"Wha… Big Brother, why? Why are people so mean that they would do that" questioned an innocent Xiao Lingxi, tears on her face thinking of a scenario where her Big Brother Long is no longer with her, it made her question the point of life…

Lingxi looked at the gentle smile her big brother was giving, as if the smile was reassuring her, no matter what decision she took he would support her with all his being, yet this caused her to be even more determined…

"Big Brother Long… Xi'er doesn't understand… but Xi'er will always be with Big Brother Long… after all Big Brother Long promised me to never abandon me, and so did I, even if Big Brother Long goes to a place I cannot reach, I will always come to find you!" as she stopped crying, her tear stained face was now plastered with a heart-warming smile that made Yun Long just kiss her cheeks as he took the both of them to cultivation.
