Harry Potter And The Darkness

"Time to leave" said Stefan as he started walking back to the entrance of the vault while taking some eggs as compensation for not having the six leveled one, Stefan saw as his silver ring started to shine as he walked in direction to the entrance as if there was something the ring needed and didn't want him to leave.

"Huh... Another piece of the Longinus spear?" said Stefan with a gleam in his eyes, as he covered another dragon egg in darkness and then a black vortex engulfed it, sending it to his separate world in his ring.

"Looks like I have to speed up things..." thought Stefan seeing how many eggs he was missing so he accelerated things by leaving a great quantity of darkness coming out of his body and covering all the section eggs that were in those crystal boxes, the darkness engulfed those crystal boxes and then the same black vortex appeared and all of the eggs started levitating and entering the vortex, leaving all that area of the eggs empty.

"Now... Let's see where do you take me" said Stefan as he transformed the ring into its wand form and the wand started pointing in a certain direction.

Stefan started walking in that direction, and as he finished walking the eggs section, the following section was filled with books. "Huh, what do we have here..." said Stefan as he took a book from a shelve and opened it, but it was just a testament...Stefan put the book back where it was, and kept walking without touching anything else all of that section was for testaments so who cared about them.

He entered another section finally it started with pieces of art... Sculptures, Paintings, etc.

As he kept passing section and section, he finally entered a more little section where he only things being exhibited in crystal boxes was a handle of a spear.

"Jackpot... finally something of worth... Well and beside the dragons eggs and the other eggs..." said Stefan as he walked in the little section room that was circular, but the only items being exhibited were the handle of the spear, and what it looked like a part of a sword.

As he entered the room, the circular room started shining and runes started to float around, blue flames started igniting all around the room and started closing to the middle little by little.

"Huh, fiendfyre..." thought Stefan with a nonchalant face while lifting his index finger and saying "Inferno" a cl.u.s.ter of black flames came out of his finger, it took the form of a dragon as it saw the other fiendfyre it got enraged and threw itself at the blue flames, the flames started to revolt with blue and black flames but the advance of the flames stopped.

"Now, what do we have here..." said Stefan while walking to the sword handle that had an inscription that said 'Excalibur'

"Huh... Nice." said Stefan as black onyx fog came out of his mouth and enveloped the crystal box, engulfing it, a moment later the black fog changed of target and moved to the spear handle box, leaving the handle sword there.

Stefan took the handle sword and started appreciating it, feeling the magical fluctuations it had on it, a black vortex appeared in front of him and a golden box flew out of the vortex, Stefan opened the box laying the handle sword inside the box, he then walked to the handle spear and as he took it, the silver wand on his hand flew directly into the handle spear and engulfed it.

Stefan saw how his wand was engulfing the handle spear... It somehow turned into liquid silverfish liquid that covered for complete the handle spear... "How interesting... I wonder what will happen after it devoured the handle spear for completely..." said Stefan with a pondering face as a black vortex appeared in front of the silverish metal liquid and make it disappeared.

"Time to go back" said Stefan as he started walking back to the entrance vault.

30 minutes before.

Diagon Alley, the streets were bustling as too many wizards have come with their sons to buy their materials for school.

"How lovely, it's that time of the year right? where all the wizards come here with their progeny..." muttered Grindelwald as he was flying 20 meters above Diagon Alley.

No one has noticed the man with white hair flying there, looking at them with an amused face.

"Lady's and Gentleman, can I have your attention please?" a voiced sounded all over Diagon Alley, all of the wizards looked for the source of that voice, while some of the muggle parents who came for the first time got a scared as they saw a man flying in the sky, coming down and flying 10 meters above ground... They sure know about magic and all that kind of stuff but still, it caused them a great impression.

"You see, I´m coming here because I want to challenge the Great Light Wizard Albus Dumbledore to a duel, and of course we can't have this legendary duel to not being seen, can we?" said Grindelwald while smiling at all the crowd.

The crowd of wizards got surprised as they heard that someone was challenging the most powerful wizard the magic world has right now, while the muggles parents with their respective kids didn't know what was happening, but there was a little girl with bushy brown hair and large teeth with a surprised face as she saw the face of the man who was speaking... She had read about him and seen a picture of him... The most powerful dark wizard the magical world has seen and that had a legendary duel with Albus Dumbledore the light wizard.

She didn't think about it and instinctively shouted "You're Gellert Grindelwald but how..."

"Hahahaha looks like the magical world hasn't forgotten about me... Yeah little girl, I'm Gellert Grindelwald, the most powerful dark wizard the magical world has seen, that Voldemort its just a little kid being mad about him not being a pureblood." said Grindelwald as he turned his head in a certain direction where a man with a turban on his head was looking at him with cold eyes not characteristic of him, the man saw how Grindelwald looked at him for a fraction of second, and the man fall to the ground while grabbing his c.h.e.s.t with a panic face but deep down in those eyes there was hatred.

All the wizards as they heard that started panicking and running all over without caring about others, pushing while running stomping people to their death... While others apparate away from there with their families leaving dismembered body parts on the floor by the lacking of concentration they couldn't realize a successful apparition and only move a few meters from their original position, but they realized there was some kind of a barrier impending them for apparating too from there and they couldn't leave by walking either.

While all the muggle families that were there with their wizard's sons didn't know what to do, and some of them were getting stomped by the crowd, while the most desperate wizards started to use spells at the barrier to open a path to get their families out but the only thing they accomplished wast to get their spells rebounded by the barrier and hurting other people or themselves.

The little girl with bushy hair and big teeth got scared as she saw all the crowd started to run while other wizards started to cast spells to clear the path for their families, her father took her and her mother and put himself in front of them trying to act as a human shield as they were in a corner of the street.

She saw as a red lightning bolt was coming to their way, she screamed as she saw that, and as the lightning bolt was going to hit her father, a white-transparent mist appeared in front of his father absorbing the spell as if it was nothing.

"Don't worry little girl you have his protection for the moment... You have attracted his interest..." said a voice above them.

The little girl lifted her eyes and saw at how Grindelwald was smiling to her.

"Thank You" said the father of the little girl, and the mother a moment later thanked him too, the mother of the child pinch her cheek for a moment while signaling with her eyes at her daughter.

The little girl bowed while saying "Thank You" to Grindelwald who only smiled in return while saying "It's was not my decision but of someone else..." he got interrupted as he saw a bolt of green lightning.

"Morsmordre" a voice echoed in Diagon Alley, a green bolt of lightning went up in the sky, a skull materialized in the sky, then the skull opened his mouth and a serpent came out of it.

Wizards with black hoods and masks with snake-like eye slits to cover their faces and black robes started appearing from the crowd while chanting something...

Someone shouted "Death eaters, they are death eaters.."

"Huh, but what a surprise I thought that after the Riddle boy fell down all of you vanished...looks like he still has followers... I mean stupid followers but he is not alone as I thought..." said Grindelwald with a smirk on his face.

"Avada Kedavra" all of the men with silver masks said while pointing their wands at him, 7 green bolts of lightning came out of their wand and rushed to Grindelwald who was in mid-air smiling at them.

"Childs, the Riddle boy taught you nothing right?" said Grindelwald while smiling at them, while no one saw from where a white wand appeared on his hand, Grindelwald waved his wand and all the seven green bolts of lightning rebound at other directions.

Some wizards who saw that screamed "Impossible... That's Impossible... the unforgivable curses... You can't defend against them..."

The death eaters got stunned at seeing their unforgivable curses being handled like that with a wave of his hand.

"See, you're still little kids playing with fire... The Riddle boy I'm sure he can cast it decently, but you? you don't know the essence of the spell... Let me show you how it's done..." said Grindelwald as he lifted his wand and said with a soft voice 'Avada Kedavra' a green bolt of lightning came out of his wand, but everyone in the public could notice the difference in his killing curse and felt it in the air as if the death was coming for them, the unforgivable curse from the death eaters sure it looked dangerous but didn't have that heavy atmosphere, and the color... Grindelwald's curse has a strong green color and the death eaters curses were a pale green... And the most significant part of the killing curse of Grindelwald was that the green bolt of lightning didn't stay like that... They all saw as how the bolt of lightning changed into a skull that was opening its mouth as if it has come to collect lives... And so it did... The death eater who got hit on the c.h.e.s.t by it, dropped to the floor like a marionette whose strings were cut off.

All the Death eaters took a step back... "That's how it's done childs" said Grindelwald with a smile on his face.

One of the Death Eaters remembered about Grindelwald defending the little girl and her family, and said "Distract him, attack the little girl family and simultaneously at him" all the Death Eaters nodded as they chanted their killing curses all over again "Avada Kedavra", 6 green bolts of lightning came out of their wands and started moving at the little girl with bushy hair and the others lightning bolts at Grindelwald.

"Did you not get it?, if the Riddle boy is not here you're just dead meat to me..." said Grindelwald

'Avada Kedavra' said Grindelwald with a soft voice as he lifted his left hand and pointed with his index finger at the lightning bolt coming to the little girl family and linking his own killing curse mid-air with the one of the Death Eaters and it fastly pushed the killing curse till it got to the Death Eater killing him, and pointing with his wand at the other killing curse but he just waved his wand rebounding the killing curse to another place.

Red lightning bolts rained from the sky hitting the Death Eaters and knocking them out.

"Hahahaha, you're so hypocrite as always, you should kill them... So they don't get back to bite as the rabid dogs they are" said Grindelwald while pointing his wand at the fainted Death Eaters and casting a spell.

As it was about to hit the fainted Death Eaters a white light enveloped them and protect them from Grindelwald spell.

"Gellert stopped this nonsense right now" a powerful voice echoed all over Diagon Alley, as an Old Man started flying in direction of Grindelwald.

"Hahahaha Albus, you're finally here, it took you a while to get here..." said Grindelwald while smiling at Dumbledore who was in front of him and saw his appearance his youthful, seeing him with surprise in his eyes that only lasted for a moment.

"Come back with me to your cell... You can't win, Old friend ..." said Dumbledore while taking his wand from his robe... The elder wand.

"Hahahahaha I can see you have kept my wand in the best shape possible, thank you" said Grindelwald with a soft voice while smiling while looking for a moment at the elder wand.

"You can't escape... Surrender now... Gellert, don't involve these people they are innocent" said Dumbledore with a calm face.

"Oh but you already involved them... Tell them why can't they escape from here what are those barriers around Diagon Alley, this has nothing to do with me... But with you" said Grindelwald while amplifying his voice so everyone in Diagon Alley could hear him.

The wizards crowd all got stunned at hearing the reason they couldn't escape was that the greatest light wizard didn't allow it, while some of the wizards started shouting that he was a liar, but they got stunned as they heard the response from Dumbledore their savior.

"Sigh, yes it's my deed... I can't allow you to escape from here..." said Dumbledore as his face turned serious and pointed his wand at Grindelwald.

"Hahaha, I wasn't going to escape... Why do you think I came here and challenged you in front of this crowd."

"We have to let them see a legendary duel that will be recorded in the annals of the magical history"

"Let the duel begin..."
