Harry Potter And The Dual Lord

Chapter 15 - King's Cross

Arthur looked around at the giant train station, standing next to the platform 10. Arthur turned to his parents and asked "What are we waiting for already?"

Henry smiled and said "For the Weasley and the Diggory." Arthur nodded and continued thinking about what Merlin told him. Had his master gone crazy?

But his thoughts were interrupted when he felt a tug at his sleeve. Arthur looked down and saw Stella looking at him. Arthur smiled and asked "Yes?"

Stella asked "Can't you stay at home? Do you really have to go for so long?" Arthur lowered himself to her level and said "Yes, I have to. But don't worry, you can see me again during the vacations. You promise me you won't be naughty when I'm away, alright?"

Arthur patted her head as she nodded and said "Good. And remember, when I'm in my fourth year you will also enter the school. At that time you will see me all year around."

Stella smirked and said "Okay!"

Arthur's smile widened and he rose back up. After a few minutes of waiting a family of three could be seen coming their way.

One was a boy a few years older than Arthur, and the remaining two were his parents. This was indeed the Diggory family.

But as they approached they obviously hesitated, as they haled in their steps, but Elizabeth, Cedric's mother, urged Amos to continue.

As they arrived Amos said rather awkwardly "Henry, good to see you…" Henry nodded, but he had obviously seen their discomfort.

He replied "Yes, long time indeed. But don't worry about us, we are waiting for a friend of Arthur. Don't wait for us."

Amos sighed in relief and looked at Henry apologetically before taking his family to the famous station. Stella looked at her mother and said "Mom, why were they like that?"

Nat smiled and said "Don't worry, it's nothing important."

Arthur looked at his parents and said "I don't feel like waiting here anymore, why don't we just get in the train?"

The two parents quickly nodded and Arthur pushed his trunk toward one of the pillars of the station. Arthur rushed in first and passed through it.

A whole new station appeared before him. Many families were standing in front of the huge red train and were saying goodbye to their kids who had trunks too.

Arthur walked out of the way and soon his own family appeared.

As they arrived Arthur smiled to them and said "It's not that I want to shake you off but I will get in the train first."

Nat and Henry nodded and hugged him. Lastly Arthur looked at Stella and said "Come here." Stella ran with her small legs to him and jumped on him, taking him in a hug.

Fortunately, his fusion with the light element had made his body stronger than normal humans and thus did not budge when she jumped at him.

After a few seconds she let him go and said "See you soon!"

Arthur smiled and turned around. But as he was about to go he looked at Stella and said "Look at this."

Arthur waved his hand and his trunk lifted itself from the ground and followed behind him, hovering. Stella clapped her hands as she laughed. Stella almost never saw magic and was thus fascinated by it.

At first Arthur didn't understand why they never showed her magic since she knew about it, same for him, but when he got his books on magic he understood.

Kids who lived in magic their whole lives will find it boring and not put enough work into it. It's like a European kid who went to school his whole life will find it annoying, but someone who never went to school will find it fascinating and work harder than others.

It was the same for magic. When Stella will receive her first lessons she will most certainly work harder than others.

On the other hand, his parents were shocked to see him perform this charm wandless. They had hardly believed that he already knew so many spells, but wandless magic? They now understood what Dumbledore meant when he said Arthur would be one of the best wizards of all time.

Like that Arthur got in the train and choose a random empty compartment. He got inside and made his trunk levitate to the storage space.

Then he got his wand out and waved it. Instantly a mist of darkness appeared in the compartment, making it look darker and sightly horrific.

As people passed by they would immediately speed up seeing the boy inside the mist, they couldn't really see his features but just the fact he was in the room made them hurry to f.u.c.k away.

Arthur didn't want to be bothered during this trip, and he didn't know a lot of people anyway. His only friend didn't even know he was here, and even if he did Arthur would have chosen to do the same.

In the future he intends on not following the golden trio because he didn't really like them. First there's Harry, the danger magnet. The kid is pitiful and likable, but his companions are not.

First, Ronald Weasley. A jealous sc.u.m. And an idiot. Then there is Hermione. The beautiful… No. She isn't beautiful. She will only become beautiful around the fourth year.

But Arthur doesn't care about how she looks, her temperament is the problem. A know it all who lick the teachers' boots and who can't stand for herself until the third book. No thank you.

But that doesn't mean he wishes to sever all bridges, even though he doesn't want the golden trio to become the golden quartet, he will still keep a friendly relationship with them. They eventually become important people after all.

Harry is already in the pocket. Hermione will be easily changed into a friend by showing his knowledge and saving her from the mountain troll.

As for Ronald, well that's harder, but there's still his sister who he will probably save. If that isn't enough then… Who cares about him?

Through the ride Arthur had been reading his book, it was the book of charms for first years. Thanks to his knowledge from Merlin, Arthur didn't need anyone to explain to him how the spell worked.

Honestly, in those seven years of learning with Merlin, Arthur had become more knowledgeable than many existing wizards, maybe more than any of them, regarding spells. Except Dumbledore. The man is more than 120 years old. And a genius.

But other than him, not any equals Arthur. After all, Arthur learned from Merlin himself, during seven entire years. And he would learn every night, there are no vacations. And he learns only about spells, so his knowledge is bound to be bountiful.

Arthur did not lose track of time and not long before they were to arrived, Arthur waved his hand and the mist intensified so much than someone in it wouldn't even see their hands if they were ten centimeters in front of them.

Arthur changed into his robes, but did not put on the ridiculous hat, and waved his hand again.

The darkness disappeared completely and a reflection of Arthur appeared in front of him. Looking at it Arthur nodded to himself and sat back.

Arthur used more often his hands rather than his wand because most of his spells are elemental ones. He would only take out his wand if he were in a fight or had to do something exhausting.

As Arthur thought he would not be bothered, someone suddenly opened the door in front of him. There was standing a c.h.e.s.tnut haired girl looking at him intensely. After a couple of seconds she didn't stop so Arthur had to snap his fingers to bring her back.

She blushed then asked "Have you seen a toad? A kid named…" Arthur held his hand as he didn't really want to hear her blabbering and he took out his wand.

He asked "Name?"

The girl replied a little too fast "Hermione Granger!"

Arthur rolled his eyes and said "The Toad!" She blushed harder and replied in a small voice "Trevor!"

Arthur nodded and said "Accio Trevor!"
