"Slytherin!"

The room stayed as quiet as it was before. McGonagall took the sorting hat back and Arthur got up. No cheering. Absolute silence.

Arthur looked over the room. The Slytherin house members had ghastly faces, while the others had their face lit up in joy.

Arthur clicked his tongue and murmured "Pathetic!"

None of the students heard him, but McGonagall shook her head silently as she heard him. Arthur didn't know about it, but with all those years of studying under Merlin, he had grown like this.

Merlin always had near impossible goals for Arthur, but he would still somehow succeed every time. The thing is, with all those years of working, coupled with his fate of fighting gods, those manipulated children all seemed so… unimpressive.

Black smoke came out from under Arthur's robes and enveloped him before disappearing. Arthur reappeared on the Slytherin's table, sitting in front of Elena.

Everyone was horrified by the mysterious and frightening way he used to move, none had seen him. They realized that if he wanted to hurt them, then they could do nothing about it.

As for the professors, although they were slightly repulsed by the use of what seemed to be dark magic, they were still impressed by the boy's talent.

Arthur made the smoke disappear, and ignored the gaze from the students and looked at Dumbledore, waiting for his speech.

Dumbledore got up and gathered everyone's attention. He made a kind smile and said "Welcome to a new year at Hogwarts! Before we begin our banquet, I would like to say a few words. And here they are: Nitwit! Blubber! Oddment! Tweak! Thank you!"

Arthur looked at Elena in front of him who was making a strange face because she didn't understand the headmaster's words. Arthur himself wouldn't if he hadn't known about it beforehand. That was referring to the four houses.

As almost everyone cheered half heartedly to Dumbledore, he sat back down, and food appeared in the previously empty golden plates.

The bored light in Arthur's eyes disappeared and he pounced on the food. However as he ate he couldn't help but notice Elena was not eating.

It wasn't really his business, but the girl was the only interesting first year for him, that he met at least, so he still asked "I don't believe you can only drink blood."

Elena looked at him in surprise and said "Of course I can eat other dishes." Arthur pointed at the food and asked "Then why don't you eat?"

Elena replied "Blood is much more nourishing than this food. And tastier."

Arthur continued looking at her and eventually said "Eat, or others will think even worse of you than they already do."

Elena frowned and said "But I…"

Arthur interrupted "You may have been a princess in that castle of yours, you decided to come to a human school to learn magic, and you are no ruler anymore, you are only a kid like the others. So eat."

Elena pouted but still began eating. She was shocked y the taste. She opened her eyes wide and told Arthur "This tastes like blood!"

Arthur looked sideways at the headmaster, who winked at him. Arthur nodded and turned back to Elena "You are lucky to have a considerate headmaster who thinks all races are equal. Had you been in Durmstrang they would have let you starve, if they ever accepted you."

Elena did not really listen to him though as she ate her food. She was quick but held a certain grace doing it, as expected of a princess.

As they ate, a phantom suddenly appeared next to Elena and said "How strange, a vampire in Hogwarts… Hello, I am the Bloody Baron."

Elena looked at him disgusted and said "Why don't you go die? Do you have to stay in our world and bother us?"

The Baron was taken aback by her answer and before he could reply Arthur said "F.u.c.k off before I exorcise you."

The Baron looked at him amused by seeing his cold eyes he swallowed back his words and joined the other Slytherins.

The feast continued on for half an hour before the students were asked to follow their prefects back to their room after being warned of not going to either the third floor or the forbidden forest unless we wanted a painful death.

The Slytherin prefect was a girl called Gemma Farley. She wasn't from any death eater family, and was one of the upstanding students of Slytherin.

Arthur and Elena followed the group of Slytherin, unconsciously sticking to each other. They were led to their common room, which was situated in one of the towers. Their prefect said the current password, and they all entered their common room.

As expected, the room was mainly white and green, but it still was beautiful. Much more than what Arthur remembered from the Gryffindor common room.

Gemma looked at the first years and said "To my left is the staircase leading to the girl's dormitory, while the boys are on my right. Now it's late so go to bed."

Everyone nodded and began walking. Arthur looked briefly at Elena but said nothing and went to his own dormitory.

Elena rolled her eyes and went to her own. But just before she could take the staircase a third year girl stood in front of her and blocked her way.

Elena frowned but remembering Arthur's words about not being in her castle anymore, she asked politely "What can I do for you?"

The other girl, named Patricia, said "We don't want you to sleep with us." Another second year shouted jeeringly "Blood sucker!"

Elena bit her lip to restrain herself from killing the girl, and as she was about to retort she saw something weird happen.

The shadow of Patricia began moving and got darker. It quickly became corporal and formed tentacles that began rising up. Everyone saw it except for Patricia herself.

One of the students shooted in warning and Patricia finally saw what was happening to her. She cried out in surprise and tried to move but it was too late.

The shadows transformed into snakes that slithered around her body. Soon she could not move an inch and the strange from the snakes was becoming stronger and stronger.

One of the snakes opened its mouth and strangely talked "Let her in."

Patricia was absolutely terrified but still nodded. As she did the snakes around her turned back to shadows and came back under her, as if nothing happened.

When she regained her senses she looked around and spotted Arthur looking coldly at her, as if she was a cold piece of meat.

Everyone had come back due to the commotion created, and as Elena was looking gratefully at Arthur the other students were afraid of him.

In reality, Arthur wasn't that strong, the spells he created were only powerful enough to go against third year students, and his huge amount of magic would probably allow him to fight off against a fourth year student.

But here even the 7th years were afraid of him, and that's because they didn't know his spells. They had never seen those before and they looked so mysterious, they were afraid one of those spells could kill them by a single touch.

Arthur looked at the other students and said in a cold voice "Morons."

Then he turned back and went for his room. Every room had the same layout with five beds forming a circle around the room. Every student had left their trunk in the Hogwarts express, and the staff of the school had moved them over here.

Arthur took his trunk and entered an empty room. Arthur took one of the beds randomly and put his trunk bellow it.

He was about to lie down on the bed when he thought of something.

Arthur went to the door and opened it. Then he took out his wand and in front of everyone he magically carved a mark on it, the one representing the deathly hollows, but more known for being the mark used by Grindelwald.
