"It was a great idea you had, you should have seen how they all looked at me."

Merlin smiled and said "Yeah, guess you would scare them. You put the defenses on?" Arthur nodded and said "If someone's wants to harm me then they will have their attacks blocked and I will wake up earlier."

Merlin nodded and said "Now, I think it's time to begin the second part of the plan."

Arthur titled his head and asked "Second part? Me calling myself Grindelwald was part of a plan?" Merlin nodded and said "You will most certainly each the peak of the wizarding world by the beginning of your 7th year. Once you reach the peak of level 1 you will be able to fight most level 2."

Arthur nodded and added "Dumbledore is most likely a 2nd level, I would say mid grade as Voldemort fears him despite being a 2nd rank himself."

Merlin nodded and continued "The wizarding world is but a training for you, a step. Once you are done with it you will face many other challenges, and you can't overcome all of them alone, you need allies."

Arthur frowned and asked "Then why make me take Grindelwald's name? Most will see me as the enemy."

Merlin smiled evilly and said "Don't care about the sheep, what you need are the really powerful ones. And for that they need to see you as someone on another level, someone they can't touch but only follow."

Arthur shook his head and said "I will not reign with fear." Merlin replied "I'm not asking you that. IT would be dumb, they would drop out at the first occasion. There are two roads for you."

Arthur stayed quiet and Merlin continued "First is the road you will most likely take. You simply become friends with people and enemies with others, and like that you will have relationsh.i.p.s with all kinds of talented people."

Arthur nodded as this was what he intended to do. But he still asked "And the second one?"

Merlin sighed and got up before taking a book in his library and said "Enslavement."

Arthur looked at him shocked and asked "How could that be possibly done?"

Merlin shrugged and said "Magic of the soul. A very difficult magic. The most difficult probably. I have tried to work on it but even I haven't made any improvement so you will have to find on your own."

Arthur nodded and said "I will work on it, but I won't make people slaves." Merlin smiled and said "I knew you would say that. Indeed, enslavement is safer but where would be the fun? Not even talking about the loneliness."

He then added "Actually I expected you to say that. I said you would reach the peak of the wizarding world by your seventh year, but that is if you work on the soul magic. You wouldn't take so long if you wouldn't be going to work so much on the soul."

Arthur sighed and said "But where to begin? I know nothing about the soul." Merlin nodded and said "That's why you will need to capture one and experiment on it."

Arthur opened his eyes wide in realization and said with a smile "I have the perfect person for that, but I will have to wait until the end of the year."

Merlin nodded and said "Anyway, I think it's time we stop working on spells, I have taught you about pretty much everything I know. What's left for you to do is to learn and create your own spells. Do you want to work on something in particular from now on?"

Arthur immediately said "I want to learn how to create artifacts or things like the endless pouch." Merlin nodded and said "Then that will be runes. You're lucky, I'm very good with those."

Merlin took another book and threw it over to Arthur using magic. The title of the book was 'Runes for beginners.'

Like that Arthur began his studies on runes.

A few hours later…

Arthur woke up from his dream and sat on his bed. He looked at the time on his watch and saw that breakfast time was near.

Arthur looked around for his robes and froze. In the bed next to him was another boy sleeping. And he knew him. The guy from the boat. What was his name again?

Peter? Yeah, should be Peter.

Arthur waved his hand and a bright light appeared in the air. The boy didn't take long to wake up and he looked around to see what woke up up.

He was greeted by the sight of Arthur looking at him curiously, along with a ball of light hanging above him.

Peter had to look away and understanding why Arthur made his 'Lumos' spell disappear. He continued examining Peter who eventually asked "Why do you keep staring?"

Arthur smiled and took out his wand. Peter was alarmed by this and as he was about to take out his wand Arthur said "Accio robes."

Arthur's robes flew over to him like magic… Well they flew over to him with magic. Then shadows enveloped Arthur's body and the surroundings, making it impossible to through.

As he began changing Arthur said "Why did you come here? Didn't you see the mark I left on the door?"

Other may be unable to see through the shadows, he could see through it as if there was nothing.

Peter shrugged and said "I didn't want to be in the same room as those pureblood fanatics so I came here. And we already talked to each other so I thought it was cool."

Arthur finished putting on his robes and said "Alright, I like you. Want to be friends?" Peter looked at him astonished and asked "You want friends?"

Arthur chuckled and said "You seem interesting. And I already have friends." Peter raised an eyebrow and asked "That vampire girl?"

Arthur said "Name's Elena. And I don't know if we can be called friends… Anyway, change yourself and join me in the hall."

Peter rolled his eyes at the commanding tone Arthur had but still did it as it was what he intended to do. Arthur got out of the room and headed for the main hall.

Not many were there yet as students could take their breakfast between 6 and 8 am, so not many would come at 6. But Arthur always woke up early.

Arthur headed over to the Slytherin table, where the only people sitting were Malfoy and his two goonies.

Arthur stared at them and they looked away. Arthur sneered seeing this and went to it to one corner of the table. Arthur looked over at the teachers table and saw only McGonagall was there.

After a moment Peter arrived in the hall and sat next to Arthur. There was an awkward silence until Peter began talking "I'm half blood, is that a problem for you?"

Arthur gave him a look 'are you serious?' and said "You saw me hanging around a vampire and you ask whether I care about your blood or not?"

Peter made an embarrassed face and said "Sorry, I just wanted…" Arthur shook his head and said "Don't apologize. So, do you know anyone in the school?"

As he asked that he looked at Peter in the eyes and began using Legilimency on him. Peter did not even feel anything as he had no shield on. Less chances he was here to spy on him.

Even though it was rude, Arthur had no choice and checked on his memories quickly. From what he saw, Peter was just a normal kid. Good.

Peter, unaware he had been mind r.a.p.ed, replied "I know a few, but I didn't expect to be sorted into Slytherin… I would say the only other person I know about is Karol."

"The girl on the boat?"

Peter nodded and said "Our parents are friends so we are childhood friends."

Arthur nodded and suddenly dishes appeared in front of them. Arthur looked at the dishes and said "Let's eat."
