Arthur didn't care about what the vampire princess was doing but was still looking around in alarm. He tried to disappear using his shadows but he was shocked that his evading spell didn't work.

Wasn't it unstoppable? How could it be stopped? As Arthur was distracted by the failure a red light came at him. Arthur hurriedly lashed out his wand at the red light feeling the strength behind it.

This didn't stop the spell but diminished the strength behind it greatly. So when the red light touched his shields it only destroyed five of them.

But Arthur didn't have the time to breath as several weaker spells rushed at him. Arthur moved his wand rapidly as if he was blocking off the spells, but he was also slightly moving his fingers.

Arthur knew where the spells were coming from, so he knew where to attack. He was creating weak shield with his fingers, but they were depleting too quickly.

However Arthur just had enough time to finish his spell. As three red lights and two blue ones were heading at him, Arthur jumped out of the way, dragging Elena with him, and pointed his wand at the origin of the spells and yelled "Exitium Trabem!"

Suddenly a bright light came out of Arthur's wand and attacked toward his attacker. The attack took the form of a beam of light with the balls of darkness circling around it, and it was moving at an extremely fast speed.

Arthur heard a chuckle from the woods and understood his greatest spell had been warded against like it was a mere small spell.

But Arthur profited of the occasion to begin running, using a light spell to split his body into 5 others, all running toward Hogwarts.

But as he ran Arthur was shocked when he heard the chant "Avada Kedavra!" A green light went through one of his illusions and landed on a tree. The area hit began rotting at a visible speed, dying.

Arthur began gathering his entire magic, preparing to throw one final spell. He continued running for half a minute before there were only two Arthur left, one illusion and himself, and he had finally finished his spell.

Arthur lowered his wand to the ground and all of his magic was poured in the wand, before hitting the ground.

The ground around him suddenly trembled and behind the running Arthur a ten meters tall hand made of black smoke rose from the ground.

The hand was hit by a green light, but it did nothing to it, and the hand formed a fist. The hand punched the ground hardly, creating a small earthquake, and fissured the ground.

This created a hole in the ground, separating Arthur and his attacker. The gash in the ground was too big for any human to jump over, so Arthur felt safe.

But the next moment he was horrified. The person running after him revealed itself, and appeared as someone under a black cloak.

The attacker flew over the rift. He used unsupported flight! Then it means this is either Snape or Voldemort! Why would Snape try to kill him?

It can only mean that the person chasing after him is Quirrel being possessed by Voldemort. Arthur sped up beyond what he thought was possible for him and went for the castle.

Arthur was relieved when he saw the castle in the distance, and couldn't help but rejoice. But just then a green light flew over his shoulder, narrowly missing his body.

This distracted Arthur who didn't see the root on the ground. Arthur stepped on the root and suddenly lost his footing, falling to the ground.

But just as he fell another green light passed where he was previously standing. Arthur sweated thinking his death was just a root away…

But now the shadowy figure was standing not far from him, and was pointing his wand at Arthur and Elena. Arthur suddenly remembered he had been running while carrying Elena with him. How did he do it?

But soon Arthur was brought back to reality as a green light was thrown at him. No, at Elena! Arthur acted on instinct and pushed her out of the way, placing himself where she was before.

Elena was shocked and never thought the cold boy would ever throw his life to save another! Elena felt warm, but seeing the fast approaching green light she couldn't help but feel cold. Incomparable fury overtook her, but she couldn't do anything because her magic had been drained earlier.

As the green light was a few meters from Arthur, the ground in front of him suddenly rose, stopping the killing curse from hitting him. The dirt exploded but the spell was blocked.

The next moment a white light appeared from the sky and landed next to the Arthur. The person was an old man dressed in robes, with a giant white beard and half moon glasses, twinkling blue eyes… Dumbledore!

Arthur looked at the old man in shock, while the shadow figure in front of them was shocked and didn't throw any other spell. But Dumbledore wasn't just an old man, he was also the strongest wizard alive.

Dumbledore flicked his wand at the shadowy figure and a red light was thrown at Quirrel. The latter countered with a green light, beginning a duel of magic. But this wasn't Voldemort's body, so Dumbledore was obviously the one winning.

The green light was retreating at a visible speed, and soon the shadowy figure was thrown backward. He got up quickly and before Dumbledore could attack again he escaped, flying above the trees.

Then Dumbledore turned to look at the two youngsters and asked "Are you two fine?" The two nodded so Dumbledore walked next to them and grabbed both of them.

The three apparated away, and appeared in the headmaster's office. Elena did not have much of a reaction but Arthur did.

Arthur looked around and feigned being surprised before saying "Headmaster, isn't Hogwarts protected against apparitions? I thought it was impossible to apparate within the school?"

In fact Arthur already knew it was possible because Harry had asked the same question in the movies, but he had to act.

Dumbledore looked at him with a smile and said "I have a few tricks in my sleeves. But could you two please explain to me what you were doing in the forbidden forest so late? You should be in your beds. And what happened to your hair Ms. Gylys?"

Arthur was about to explain when Elena opened her mouth and said "It's my fault headmaster, I wanted to…" Arthur rolled his eyes and said "Stop, we won't play that game of saying it's our fault and not the other's. It's both our faults."

Elena looked at him embarrassed, but she still told Dumbledore the entire story. Once she was done Dumbledore sighed and said "Fine, don't ever do that again. If you need real blood you should have asked the staff. Do you know who you encountered back there? Did that person remind you of someone?"

Elena shook her head but Arthur replied "Well it was human, a dark wizard. A powerful one, so I would say this was a Death Eater."

Dumbledore sighed and said "A pity, I would have liked to know who intruded the forest… Alright, Ms. Gylys, please return to your room. And 10 points shall be taken from your house for what happened."

Elena lowered her head and walked toward the exit, and Dumbledore added "Mr Grindelwald, do you mind having a little talk?"

Arthur shrugged and replied "No one's waiting for me." Dumbledore smiled and said "That person attacking you, I suspect this person to be Voldemort."

Arthur looked at him skeptically and asked "So Harry didn't kill him that night?" Dumbledore nodded, but then shook his head and said "Yes he did, but he also didn't. A part of him died that night, but not all of him. He has only be weakened."

Arthur frowned and asked "Why would he attack us?" Dumbledore replied "I am sure you can guess on your own Arthur."
