Hmmm, soft pillow.

Elena hugged her pillow tighter, deep in her sleep. She hugged it tighter, tighter, tighter…

She sniffed in, taking in the light fragrance from the pillow. She began waking up, slowly. She eventually opened her eyes, and was greeted with a handsome face.

Arthur was in front of her, eyes closed, deep in sleep. Elena smiled, and looked at her pillow. Arthur's arm. What a cliché…

Elena unfolded hers arms from his, and got up from the bed. The both of them were in a nice suit with an incredible view on the ocean. The Atlantic Ocean.

A port could be seen not far from them, with only a few boats in. But those weren't the usual ones you would see. Those were ancient looking, made with wood instead of metal.

But if you thought those were less resistant than the war sh.i.p.s made of metal, then you would be deeply wrong. Because those sh.i.p.s have been made, and sailed by wizards.

They all were majestic looking, but very few.

Elena walked to the bathroom in the suit, enjoying the suit fully. This suit was something only a few could afford, only the rich could sleep in it. Usually she could have booked it, but she was on her own now.

Arthur and her had been sleeping here only for one night, but they got it by buying it like any other customer. It is the money they used that they didn't acquire legally.

Elena came to know that the world was a very dark place, very corrupted through Arthur guidance. So it didn't take long for them to find someone suitable enough to take the money from. Let's rewind a bit…

Yesterday, they arrived in Norway. The portkey was set in a location near Bergen, the biggest coastal city in Norway, and also the city hosting the biggest port in all of Europe.

The city in itself was beautiful, with its center surrounded by seven mountains, the scenery too beautiful to be on Earth. For Elena who never left her big dark castle before, this was simply amazing.

Even for Arthur, it was mind blowing. In his previous life he had lived in the cities his entire life, and had never seen how beautiful nature could be.

Unfortunately, nowadays there is always the same problem. Humans. Wizards. Wizards may like to think they are different from regular humans, in Arthur's eyes they were all but the same.

That's why they didn't take long to find a rotten one. A slave trader. They didn't have any problem robbing him. Arthur's illusions can be really useful. So that's how the two got an enormous amount of money. They stole it. As simple as this.

This made their life easier, and thus they brought the suit for the night. Nothing much happened that day, only one thing. But that was one hell of a thing.

Recently, Arthur found out that his mind had changed, and was still changing. He had addressed the problem to Merlin, who assured him it wasn't one, only another proof he was going to become someone of great importance.

Arthur was drifting further and further away from humanity. Before, as much as he liked to believe that he was special and uncommon, he was but another lamb living a boring life in society.

But now, Arthur was becoming more and more special, and it could be felt by those around him. In his last life, he had no particular aura like every average folk. And aura isn't some kind of mysterious things like killing intent that only exists in fiction.

No aura is a real thing, but far less mysterious than shown in books. Aura is something that can't be faked, it is something that comes with someone's personality and lifestyle.

A muggle emperor would really exude a dominant aura to others, not to the point they would feel suppressed and weak, but his social standing would easily be seen.

So aura is the first step to greatness, to become special. For Arthur, he became special thanks to Merlin's teachings. Not from the spells he learned and the superiority they might have given to people. No, this was fake.

What gave him his aura, is Merlin's words over life. What made Arthur special, is that Merlin educated him. He taught him what true power was, and how others, how everyone else than him were nothing but dirt. Only steps toward greatness.

This is what created Arthur's cold aura. This is the aura Arthur has had since he entered Hogwarts. And this is the aura he had when he met Dumbledore. And because he has magic and great attainments in mind arts, his aura has real effects to those around. Those who don't know him, would be more hostile toward Arthur than others without aura.

As a great character himself, Dumbledore also has an aura. A kind one, making him look like a kind grandfather. He may be manipulative, he truly wants fairness to prevail in the world, and is a good man.

So for him, Arthur's aura was a problem. Because he knows what aura is truly, and thus means what Arthur's aura means about his thoughts of the world.

That's why he tried to remedy it with his own teachings. 2 weeks are short, too short. But it doesn't mean they are useless. While Arthur still had his cold and offensive aura, he had changed in some way.

And Dumbledore's work hadn't been done for naught. They really changed Arthur once he arrived in Norway. Only, not in the way he had hoped…

Arthur had been moved by what he had seen. Before arriving in Bergen, Arthur saw the truth. Others were not dirt. They were only inferior. And what could they do about it? What can they do in front of his greatness?

He shouldn't despise them for being weaker than him. They can't do anything about it, they were simply made like that. All of them. They only are inferior to him. They were made to be below him. So he has to stop being at the same level as them.

After all, they are not the chosen ones. They don't have any great trial waiting for them. Do they have to fight gods? Arthur would have to one day, so should he stay on the same level as those poor people?

No, Arthur saw the truth. He can't continue like this. They are not on the same level. Their fate is to become stay mortals, they will keep their status as ants for their entire life. And they will die as ants. But him, him, he is destined to great things, to become the equal of Gods!

That's it, he will become a god. And does a god despise his subjects? No, that's who a mortal would do. No, he should look upon mortals in a new light. They should make him feel mercy. Because that's all the fate there should be between them. Him giving them mercy.

This revelation gave way to a tremendous change in Arthur. His cold aura completely changed, now his aura transformed into a superior one. All those who looked at him would feel inferior. And reverence as well as powerlessness. As if they were really looking at a god. It wasn't weakness, just that they would feel that they are standing in the presence of someone who is above them in every way possible.

Fortunately this change only happened when Arthur and Elena were in the suit. So only Elena saw the change, and until now only her had been subject to it. She didn't have any achievement in mind arts, so Arthur's powerful aura worked wonders on her.

That night, Arthur took her to bed, showed her his mercy. She was inferior. But that's okay. She can stay close to him, he must help her and show her the light. Show her mercy.

The day Arthur arrived in Norway, is the day he lost his humanity.
