Harry Potter: Glory of the King

Chapter 42: Gryffindor Tower

"Now, before everyone goes to bed, let us sing the school song together!" Dumbledore said loudly. Ona noticed that the smiles of the other teachers seemed to freeze.

Dumbledore flicked the wand, and a long gold ribbon floated out of the wand, twisting and winding lines of text high above the dining table like a snake.

"Everyone chooses the tune they like," Dumbledore said. "Get ready, sing!"

So all the teachers and students sang loudly: "Hogwarts, Hogwarts..."

To be honest, you really sang your song. I ran my tune. Even Glory, who sang very nicely, couldn’t sing it anymore. In the end everyone sang this school song in all but Weasley. The twin brothers of the family continued to sing to the slow melody of "Funeral March". Dumbledore used his magic wand to direct the last few bars for the two of them, and when they finished singing, his applause was loudest.

"Where is the accompaniment!" Glory couldn't help but complain. She loves music the most. The effect she just sang made her feel like seeing the spots, and she looked disgusted.

"Music," Dumbledore said, wiping his eyes. "It's more glamorous than everything we did here! It's time for bed. Everyone, go back to the dorm."

Gryffindor's first-year freshman followed Percy, through the noisy crowd, out of the auditorium, and up the marble staircase. The portraits of the people in the hallway whispered and pointed as they passed. Percy led them twice through the door hidden behind the sliding baffle and hanging curtain, and climbed many more stairs, only to encounter a little Accident—a bundle of walking sticks floated in mid-air, attracting everyone's attention.

Percy took a step forward, and the walking sticks flew towards him one after another.

"It's Pippi," Percy whispered to the first-year freshman, "a ghost who likes to play pranks." He raised his voice again and said, "Pippi--show your form."

The answer to him was a loud, piercing, deflated popping sound like a balloon.

"Are you asking me to find Barrow the Blood Man?"

With a puff, a little man suddenly appeared, with evil black eyes, a big mouth, cross-legged in mid-air, and his hands firmly grasped the bundle of walking sticks.

"Hahaha!" He giggled slyly, "It turned out to be a nasty first-year kid! It's so fun!" He suddenly pounced at them. The students were stunned, but Ona's eyes flashed sharply, and a palm shot out. Pippi felt pushed by someone, turned somersault and flew out, the cane in his hand fell off, just hitting it. On the head of the hapless Neville.

"Go away, Pepy Ghost, or I will tell Barrow the Blood Man, I'm not kidding!" Percy yelled, thinking that Pepy Ghost just wanted to tease them.

Pippi glanced suspiciously, stuck out his tongue, and disappeared. They heard Pippi flying away, and the armor clanging as they flew past.

"You should be on guard against Pepi Ghost." Percy said, leading everyone to move forward. "Barrow the Blood Man is the only one who can bring him down. He can't even listen to the words of our prefects. Here we are."

At the end of the corridor hung a portrait of a very wealthy woman in a pink dress.

"Password?" she asked.

"Dragon scum," Percy said. I saw the painting staggered forward, revealing a circular hole in the wall. They all crawled through the hole in the wall-Neville had to give him a hand-and then they found that they had arrived in the Gryffindor common room. This is a comfortable round room filled with soft armchairs.

Percy guided the girls through a door to their bedroom. Hermione and Glory yawned, walked hand in hand at the end, and waved goodbye to Ona before leaving. After Ona watched them leave, he followed the boys with Percy into another door. On the top of a spiral staircase-they were obviously in a tower-they finally found their bunks: five beds with four pillars, draped with crimson velvet curtains. Their boxes had already been delivered, Ona, Harry, Ron, Seamus, Neville, exactly five people.

Ona started to have a headache. He remembered that Hermione’s clothes were still with him. The other four changed into pajamas and fell asleep. Ona had to pack his clothes into another Muggle’s luggage that he had already prepared. In the suitcase, he intends to lend this space suitcase to Hermione. He carried the suitcase and walked back to the common room, only to find that he dared not go to the girls' bedroom. Fortunately, Hermione seemed to have a heart and came out.

"Great," said Hermione blushing, "how can I find you if I have a headache!"

"No," Ona handed the box to Hermione. "You can use it first. I don't have much clothes anyway. I even gave Ron a half of the robe."

"Okay." Hermione took the box and hurried away.

Ona shook his head back to his room and found everyone asleep. So Ona took out his clothes and found the bathroom, took a shower and changed his clothes, and put the dirty clothes in the dirty clothes basket designated by the bed-he estimated that the house elves would help clean them.

Didn't see Mahaha, he guessed it was sent to the owl shed.

Lying on the bed, Ona began to count his gains.

"Ding! Met Minerva McGonagall, the current friendship is 30! Albus Dumbledore, the current friendship is 40! Ron Weasley, the friendship is 80! Fred Weasley, the friendship Degree 50! George Weasley, friendship degree 50! Percy Weasley, friendship degree 30! Neville Longbottom, friendship degree 70! Draco Malfoy, friendship degree -30! The above data is followed in real time new."

"Ding! Discover the famous landmark: Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, reward experience value: 500, reward: a copy of Hogwarts building drawings, from completion to renovation, the current Hogwarts has no secrets for you."

"Ding! Complete the main task: Enrollment! Rewarded experience value: 300, Reward: By analogy, you can diverge thinking and understand by analogy in the process of learning."

"Ding! Complete the main mission: the branch! Reward experience value: 300, reward: a magic item."

"Ding! Congratulations on your level up, current level 5! Activate skill: End!"

Ona felt that his mana had risen by a bit, and the total amount was about to catch up with the third grade Weasley brothers. He glanced at the end first, and could deal 15% additional damage to surrounding humanoid creatures (including giants, untransformed werewolves, untransformed vampires, etc.).

As for the magic items, Ona found that it was another turntable. On the turntable, some were books, some were weapons, and some weird things—such as a gourd, etc.

"Draw!" Seeing the four roommates sleeping soundly, Ona silently chose to receive it. The turntable turned, and then gradually stopped slowly.

"Ding! Congratulations on getting a ruler."

Ona looked at the reward dumbfounded, and he took out a ruler, about the same length as a wand.
