Harry Potter: Rise Of The Serpent

Chapter 13 - Chamber of Secrets

Alastair: "Open." I say in parseltongue.

The sink pushes out and slides downward, revealing a deep hole with a slide leading to the chamber. Sometimes I think how hilarious it would be to watch an old dignified wizard like Salazar sliding down this tunnel to get to his chamber. I always thought it was a little bit of a hilarious thought.

I immediately jump down, using my robes to fly and glide my way to the bottom. When I reach the bottom I'm immediately greeted with bones as far as the eye could see as well as tens of tunnels leading to everywhere in Hogwarts I presume. I pick the biggest tunnel and start walking towards the actual chamber. All throughout the journey I could feel the ancient magic that just radiated from the chamber. It wasn't the basilisk. It was something far more powerful and older than the basilisk. It got my blood boiling. This mysterious energy. This was my chance to receive a huge power boost. I had to find it no matter the cost.

After a few minutes of walking, I come to a circular door with a statue of a snake coiled around the door.

Alastair: "Open" I say in parseltoungue.

The snake seemingly comes to life and slithers further around the door until it disappears into the crevices. The door then opens, revealing to me the splendor of the chamber. I then heard an ancient and powerful voice, though it was nothing compared to Ruby.

Basilisk: "HOW DARE YOU STEP INTO MY MASTER'S HOLY PLACE!" The great serpent yells at me as it slithers out from its den.

Ruby: "Be quiet you retched lizard. You're nothing but a child and yet hold such a boisterous attitude." Ruby scoffs as she pokes her head out from the neck of my robes.

Basilisk: "CHILD?! I'M OVER A THOUSAND YEARS OLD AND YOU CALL ME A CHILD?"

Alastair: "That's enough." Alastair says and all returns to silence. "Bow to me basilisk. I am your new master."

The basilisk though with great struggle, places its ginormous body in front of me and slays it on the ground.

Basilisk: "WHAT KIND OF SORCERY IS THIS? NOT EVEN SALAZAR COULD BEND ME TO HIS WILL." The basilisk outrages as it tries to move.

Alastair: "I am the king of serpents. All that slithers bows to me as their divine ruler absolutely and unconditionally." I say as I walk past the giant snake and start to look at the chamber in a more in depth way.

Right now, we were in the main chamber. The one that Harry fought the basilisk in the second book. There were passages that led to the other rooms. I could see a library, living room, and bedroom. The power I was sensing was coming from the bedroom. It was drawing me to it. My eyes glowed a bright crimson and I could feel my Serpentine Devil bloodline raging inside me.

Basilisk: "Ahh...so you can sense it. My masters treasure. Claim it if you dare. You will be consumed by its power just as he was." The basilisk says with a slight weariness in its voice.

Alastair: "We will see. Won't we?" I say with a smirk as I fly over to the bedroom and what I saw surprised me to no end.

I saw the corpse of Salazar Slytherin laying on the bed with a gem, no bigger than a pebble, resting in his hand.

Ruby: "I sense a great deal of power coming from the stone. It's possible that it could be a relic from creation."

Alastair: "Relic of creation?"

Ruby: "Indeed, my lord. A leftover remnant from when the divine ones created creation. It is the power of creation taken on physical form." She explains as she slithers around Salazar's body.

Alastair: "Are there more of these relics of creation in the world?"

Ruby: "Probably not. The divine ones are very good about not letting their toys fall into the hands of mere mortals but Salazar seems to either be really lucky or far, far stronger than what the legends say. Either way, that stone is extremely powerful and will help you increase your power to an ungodly degree. Your magic core might even surpass Dumbledore and that's saying something since he gets most of his power from that object of Death."

Alastair: "You mean the Elder Wand?"

Ruby: "Oh, is that what it's called now? There are so many names for it that I forget them all but yes. It's said that Death forged that wand using the wood from the cross Jesus was crucified on but that's a story for another time." The old serpent, done with her digression, continues with her explanation of the relic of creation.

Ruby: " You have to be very carful with that stone or you will die no matter how strong or how immortal you are. The evolution process will be an extremely painful one if you choose to absorb its power but the gains will be tremendous. But you must remember, just because you have a greater magic core than Dumbledore doesn't mean you are in any position to beat him. He could still wipe the floor with you. Only when you master that force of creation and bend it to your will will you be able to reach the peak of power and possibly beyond. If you choose this path, it will be a long and treacherous one. It could take you millions of years to reach the end of this path. Forces beyond both good and evil will come for you, seeking the power that will flow through your veins. Is this what you want?"

Alastair: "It is. I will ascend to the greatest heights and claim all of creation as my own. Nothing will stand in my way." The Serpentine Devil lets out a great laugh.

Ruby: "Fantastic, young lord. Truly amusing. I was right in choosing you as my master. I shall serve you for eternity and shall ascend to the peak of creation!"

I then take the stone from Salazars hands and feel the power start to flood into me. I start to see amazing things. The beginning of the world, the power of the divine ones. A force that I am in no way prepared to face. I see just how small this world is and all the ancient and powerful magics that are just waiting to be taken. I then starts to absorb that power. A specter of a terrifying serpent appears behind me, coiling itself around me. It then releases a mighty roar which shakes the heaven and the earth as I scream in terrifyingly agonizing pain.I fall onto the floor but Ruby doesn't let me let go of the stone. The color of the stone dims and dims and after what seems like an eternity, the light finally goes out and the stone shatters, the broken pieces falling onto my body and being absorbed. As quickly as the pain started, it stopped, leaving me breathless and sweaty. The phantom then starts to go through some kind of metamorphosis. Two huge protrusions appear on its back and the keep growing. Eventually they tear through the skin and two ginormous wings sprout out and extend from its body. The wings seem to hold the entire cosmos within them. You can see stars and black holes, planets and suns. It was a truly magnificent sight.

Alastair also started to go through some changes. He grew a bit in height and his hair got whiter and longer, now reaching all the way to the floor. His eyes were no longer just a crimson red, now they had innumerable runes circling around his pupils, ever moving in a hypnotic way.

Alastair then extended his fangs and bit into the neck of Salazar. Draining him of his blood and the bits of creation still inside him.

Ruby: "Congratulations, my lord. You are truly, the first of your species. A Serpentine Emperor!"
