Despite his confidence in his talent and ability where marketing was concerned, Noah must admit he felt a little nervous on his first day at work. More so since this was the Princetons Group, one of the tops in all of America. F.u.c.k, but the Princetons, the family that owned the multi-billion-dollar company, was considered royalty in the business world, and especially in the hotel industry.

"Glad to meet you," Zack said.

Noah nodded, shaking his hand firmly with his new work colleague.

"Then I'll leave Zack to show you around," Craig, the head of the marketing department, said.

Noah nodded. "Thanks."

Moments later, Zack showed him around the area, which was fancy even for a workplace, to say the least. It was around lunch when Zack said, "You're lucky today. We have what is called a once-in-a-blue-moon free lunch." The man chuckled. "What I mean is there's a big meeting with the heads of departments right now, and our CEO, Nicolas Princeton, like to shout the whole place for lunch."

Noah widened his eyes. "Wow! That's nice of him."

Zack nodded. "Right? You can hardly find a boss as young as Nicolas, and as nice. Man, I bet all the girls dig him, and his brothers."

The Princetons were famous, so Noah knew the family had seven brothers and a sister. He heard there was another as well, and she was adopted into the family.

They came into the conference room, and Noah was shocked to find the place crowded with staff members, and at the other end of the room was indeed the powerful man himself, Nicolas Princeton. He didn't miss that his brothers were there, too—Sebastian, Darcy, Tristan, Logan, Hayden, and Conrad. They must have had a serious meeting, all right, for all of them to be present.

Zack said, "I heard it's about a new promotional campaign to boost their various hotels and resorts."

Noah nodded. "Interesting."

"Anyways, let's get some food before they're all gone." He chuckled.

The food was delicious, and while eating, Zack introduced Noah to various other staff members from other departments. They chatted about various topics, and it was then that a discussion about the Princeton brothers came up.

A female staff said, "Sebastian and Darcy are hot but too bad they're taken."

One chuckled and said, "You can always try flirting with Tristan or Logan."

The other girl pulled a face. "No thanks. Those two are notorious for serial dating. Not to mention, they're bis.e.x.u.a.l, and apparently, I heard from an exceptionally reliable source that they're into dark-haired beauty, especially those that are mix-raced."

Another nodded. "I heard they have a thing for their adopted sister, Sakura. She's a real beauty. She's half-Japanese. I heard they're into half-Japanese women."

"Not just woman, but boys," another chimed in.

Noah took all this information in. So, the Princetons were both famous and infamous, eh?

Both Tristan and Logan were bis.e.x.u.a.l. Instantly, Noah knew he'd never introduce Haru to those two brothers. They'd undoubtedly snap Haru up. Nope. No way. Nada. Never in a million years.

After the lunch was over, Noah and Zack returned to their office, and Noah began to get the hang of his new workplace. When home time came, he was quite pleased that his first day went so smoothly.

The moment Noah opened the door, Isaac's voice came his way. "We got it! Noah, we got the apartment unit."

Noah raised a brow. "Already?"

Isaac chuckled. "Yep! Aiden negotiated and it's all sorted."

In the cramp kitchen-dining room, Noah loosened his tie and then asked, "When can we move in?"

Aiden reply promptly. "In two months."

Reo said, "That means we'll have to start packing."

Mason nodded. "We do have quite a bit of stuff."

Isaac said, "Very old stuff and not suitable for our new apartment. We need to buy new furniture and stuff, right? Aiden?" He was looking at their eldest with large eyes expectantly.

Aiden chuckled. "Yeah. We can't bring all these with us. It won't suit the new place."

Haru said, "We can always sell them? Might be able to get a few dollars back."

Reo placed the tray of roast chicken onto the middle of the table as he said, "That's a good idea." Then he turned to Noah. "By the way, how's your first day at work?"

Noah chuckled. "It was good."

"Great to hear," Aiden said. "Now, let's dig in. I'm starving."

Dinner, as usual, was delicious, and during the meal, Isaac chatted nonstop about their new apartment. When it was over, Noah helped Aiden clean the dishes. By the time they were nearly finished, Haru was done with his shower and came striding into the room looking damn fresh and cute.

Noah swallowed hard and glared. The boy's sweet smell was beginning to stir him up again.

"Need any help?" Haru asked.

Aiden chuckled. "We're done." He pulled Haru into his arms and then kissed the boy briefly on the lips.

Noah watched them, his heart aching.

"I'll leave the rest to you, Noah," Aiden said. "I'm beat."

Noah nodded, and Aiden led Haru out the door.

Alone, Noah swore under his breath, wondering if this forbidden feeling he had for Haru was ever going to go away. F.u.c.k, he hoped so. He hoped it was just a phase, but deep down, he knew it wasn't.

He wanted Haru, that much he knew, and he knew also that one day he'd break and then shit would hit the fan.
