"Is it really true madam?!?" A maid from the palace asked the head of the maids, Madam Cecilia.

"Shhhh... don't let anyone hear you, Annabelle! If someone hears what I just said I will be killed!" Madam Cecilia said to Annabelle who whispered "Sorry madam, but is it true?"

"Yes, now I am only saying this to you Annabelle because you will be my successor as the head of the maids. So if this gets out-"

"I won't tell a soul I promise!" Annabelle shouted her eyes glistening.

"Shhhhh!!! If someone heard you-"

"Madam we are in the edge of the palace no one would-"

"Someone would know, you're still young but talented and naive. You don't know the Emperor's and the Empress's anger when he or she hears someone is talking about the Ex-Empress..." Madam Cecilia said in a dangerous manner.

"Empress Narcissia?" Annabelle said.

"I told you! Never say here name! Just saying her name will not only give you a free ticket for execution but it also gives me the goosebumps, not just me everyone!!!" Madam Cecilia said looking at her goosebumps, shivering slightly.

"Oh, yes it is true. A well-known fact for the higher-ups. I-" Madam Cecilia lowered her voice and whispered to Annabelle "I overheard the Emperor say that one time during a meeting. "

"Really know?!?" Annabelle gasped.

"Yes..." Madam Cecilia nodded as she came closer. "The rumored most powerful general of the kingdom even surpassing the five-star knights of the Empire the shadow general is..." Madam Cecilia shuddered.

"Is?" Annabelle asked eagerly.

" The mysterious and horrible S-shadow G-general is the Ex-Empress... " Madam Cecilia said as Annabelle gasped. Madam Cecilia continued with a low voice "only a few have seen here... In one battle I saw here, the Ex-Empress and-" Madam Cecilia shuddered.

"What you saw here once and what?" Annabelle asked eagerly once more.

Madam Cecilia stood up and ruffled her hair and said "Well, let's get back to work!"

"Ehhhh!!!" Annabelle complained.

"I promise you, Annabelle, you never want to know how she could make a bloodbath in just a few seconds...now just thinking about it makes we want to make vomit let's just get back to work..." Madam Cecilia shuddered and thought 'Well is a good thing the Ex-Empress is dead... I do not want to see that again...'

I rushed towards them with my sword in hand and suddenly hundreds of arrows came forward. I smirked and blocked all of them as I rushed forward. "Is that all you got?" I screamed at them, blocking all of their arrows.

In the speed of light, I was already behind one of the bandits. He yelped and I just cut his throat and his head flew. I immediately grabbed his swords as his body collapsed and at least ten, no eleven bandits came panicked. Bandit no.3 charged and behind me Bandit. No 4 and 5 came and I smirked. Ahhh, inexperienced idiots never change... Do those bumbling idiots think they can defeat me by outnumbering me?

I immediately sliced Bandit. No 3 face and I did the same to the ones behind me as Bandit. No 3, 4 and 5 screamed in agony as I rushed forward and deflected another batch of arrows.

I climbed up on the tree and killed one of the archers and grabbed his bow and started killing the bandits down below.

Someone's behind me... I immediately grabbed the sword I placed beside me and as charged towards the trembling bandit. I stabbed the bandit and turned and deflected another batch of arrows. Tch, do these bandits don't know how to quit?

I ran and jump to the tree in front of me killing five more archers. Just how many-

"Ugh..." I said as three arrows stabbed me. I smiled weakly and said "I must have gotten rusty, huh..."

Then I ducked as another arrow came and I grabbed my swords once more and deflected another arrow. "WE CAN KEEP FIGHTING LIKE THIS ALL DAY AND NIGHT!!! " I shouted laughing crazily.

"You're forces have all died why won't you just-" I stopped and my eyes widen. "No way..." I whispered as I deflected another arrow. I jump off the tree realizing what they were up for. Why would they risk their lives knowing their forces have been all wiped off? It's obvious they should have retreated. This was a distraction, a decoy from their real goal.

As I ran a few more arrows have stabbed me. When I finally reached the carriage my eyes widen.

"ATHAN!!!" I screamed as I went inside. I saw Kjiva who was trembling. I grabbed her and said "Where's A-athan?"

Kjiva shook her head and said "I am s-"

I immediately went outside the carriage and screamed again with tears that flowed my eyes, my vision getting blurry. "ATHAN!!!"

"ATHAN WHERE ARE YOU!!!" Crying more desperately my voice cracking. My heart was pounding like crazy. I clenched my heart and my breathing turned heavy. "ATHAN!!! WHERE ARE YOU!!!"

Then suddenly started falling and everything turned black...
