Hero Or Villaness

"In the beginning, there was nothing nor light or darkness ever even mattered. The universe was empty, no life was formed." The woman began the story looking at Athan intently to check if he was listening carefully to what she was saying.

Athan just nodded at the woman to continue and the woman said "Then the planets that had no life began to fall apart and the planets that fell caused millions of stars in the stars. One star was lucky and-"

"Fell into an a black abyss and became light." Athan said cutting the woman. "I know this story! Like I said I-"

"Be quiet, boy! I am already wasting my time to tell you what babies know so shut it. " The woman snapped at Athan. Then the woman continued while Athan pursed his lips in distaste. "The light-"

"Like I said." Athan said while the woman glared at him.

"The LIGHT started to form an unknown being. That being had no face, no mouth, or any body part whatsoever. Other unknown things gathered around the light and started to form a High Being capable to do great thing. Thus, a miracle happened..." The woman paused to check if Athan will cut in but to her relief and her suspicion he was quiet.

"And that very miracle was the Goddesses birth." The woman said.

"I already know this story, old lady." Athan said.

"You dare ca-"

"My mom always told me this story every single day and-"

"Well, it seems she didn't say the rest of it. " The woman said stopping Athan.

"Huh?"

"The Goddess then created found a suitable planet and started to create life because she was lonely for many years. So she created land, seas and the sky and also animals for a long time but she never made a human. " The woman said then she continued "She made the first and second human by mistake..."

"By mistake." Athan said not believing what the woman said because Athan's mom always told her that the Goddess also made humans from the beginning. "Are you-"

"That is where the Yeuía and Seuìa came..." The woman said ignoring Athan and her eyes started to sparkle when she said that. "The Goddess got hit by a tiny meteor when she slept and two drops of light fell down to our planet...."

"And it formed the Yeuía and Seuìa!" The woman exclaimed. "Like I told you the Yeuía is like death but not really death and the Seuìa is like life but not really life."

"What?" Athan said not understanding a single word the woman is saying. Athan started to believe that the woman was starting to loose her mind because he still couldn't understand the nonsense that is coming out of her mouth.

"And you are a Yeuía, Athan Da Valde Dragosten. Someone like me but only more special..." The woman said to Athan saying his last name quietly to the part Athan didn't hear what she said.

"You are like me? Eww.." Athan said while the woman glared at him.

"Yes and you better believe it, little boy because before I die I will teach you so you won't become an ignorant, incompetent fool like you are now." The woman said to Athan.

"But I am not! And plus what do you mean a Yeuía is like death or what? Also old lady-"

"Nerezza." The woman said cutting Athan.

"What?" Athan said.

"Nerezza, that's my name and I am not old I am just thirty-six!" Nerezza said glaring at Athan.

"Well, you look old and flabby." Athan said.

Nerezza's eyes widen and she clenched her fist and looked at Athan with the intent to kill. "Be proud that you are special if you are not I will be happy to kill you right now, you insolent boy..."

"Arista..." Kotà called me while I was lost in thought after we started discussing the news that happened over the last few years. "Will you do it again?"

"I-"

"The temple will not know if you regain your full power again, Arista. " Kotá said, suddenly holding my hand. I looked at Kotá and looked at his eyes that was filled with passion. "Arista, just say the word and-"

"Amaranthos." I said cutting Kotá. "He will feel-"

"Stop making excuses, Arista Narcissia!" Kotá said feeling very frustrated as he released my hand. "DO YOU WANT IT TO HAPPEN TO YOUR SON!?! Arista... come on... I thought. " Kotá said to me.

Suddenly all of my hairs stood up and flashes of screams and agony of the people went through my mind. What Kotá said just woke me up again. In a flash, I pushed Kotá down to the floor and said "I order you, Kotá to-"

"Don't say anything more, Empress..." Kotá smirked knowing what was I about to say and he held my hand. "Well, Arista. You know what they say a special moment needs a special place and view." Kotá snapped his fingers and suddenly we were in a garden filled with sunflowers.

When we arrived I released Kotá's hand and looked at the sunset and my breath started to shake. "K-Kotá." I said clenching my fist knowing I need to do what I promised not to do again in this lifetime.

"Yes, Empress." Kotá said suddenly kneeling down before me knowing the protocol. I giggled a bit while Kotá smiled behind me.

"I order you, again to be my Guardian." I said looking back and kneeling down with Kotá. Kotá smiled even more and said "I always am and will be under your command, Empress Arista Narcissa Da Valde Dragosten."

I smiled at Kotá feeling eternally grateful and stood up and looked back.

I held my heart and felt my heart beating fast. I then closed my eyes and when I opened it... It started to glow once more. Gold light surrounded me and I said in ancient language "Obey me, once more..."

"For I will trust you to heed my call." I said as my hands started to shake even more. "People of the above..." I silently whispered like I said a curse.

"Now...heed my call as I call upon you once more, Spirits." I said and suddenly I heard cheers and I smiled. My body started to float and energy started to enter inside it.

My body started to feel light and different kinds of memories started flooding in. My body shook and I fell down on the hard ground, squishing a few flowers while laughing a bit.

"Took you long enough, Empress. " Kotá said looking down on me, extending his hand. I grabbed his hand. "Hmmmm..." I said as he help me up.

"What will you do next, Arista?" Kotá said as I stood up.

"Get my son back." I said looking at Kotá as I clenched my fists. I looked at him more determined and golden sparks flew out of my hand. I am getting you back, Athan so wait for me.

Amaranthos felt a punch in his gut as he worked and his eyes widen. His hands started to shake as he tried to look at his right arm slowly. He saw his old mark on his wrist started to glow again. A golden light surrounded it.

Amaranthos eyes widen even more and he suddenly stood up and opened the door. He turned to look at one of the guards that was guarding his door and he said "Prepare a carriage to go to the Crimeian hill and make sure no one knows I am leaving..."

The guard bowed obeying Amaranthos and said "Yes, your majesty." Amaranthos looked at the guard leaving and then looked down on his mark that was slightly appearing before him and whispered "What's happening?"

"Are you coming?!?"Kotá shouted. "Arista!!!!! Hey! Or are you going to keep standing in the garden while you let your hair go with the wind and be all emo and nostalgic?" Kotá said mocking me. I sighed and ran towards him and slapped his head.

"Ow!!! What was-"

I pinched him and smiled as I hold his hand and said "Shut up and do your thing."

"I regret of helping you again." Kotá w.h.i.n.ed as he gave me a puppy face.

"Who told you to help me?" I said to Kotá.

Kotá sighed and said "I know right. See I am already the perfect package. Kind, caring, handsome and-"

I pinched Kotá again and said "Hurry up. "

Kotá sighed and said "Yes, mam... what a bossy woman so unattractive."

I pinched Kotá even harder and he shouted in pain.

Meanwhile as Nerezza just finished her story. Her eyes widen as she felt something. "I-is it from the east, no they are coming from the north."

Nerezza started to climb the tree while Athan said "What are you-"

"Shhhh!!!" Nerezza said. She squinted her eyes and saw the most unbelievable scene.

She immediately jumped off the tree and started untying Athan. Athan started to panic a bit just from looking Nerezza's panicked face and said "What's happening, Old lady?"

"I told you it's- ugh! We have no time for this! If they saw you they will catch you!" Nerezza said as she untied Athan.

"What?" Athan said. "Why would they catch-"

"Be quiet! Now..." Nerezza said as she held Athan's waist with both of her hands and carried him.

"Old lady! Why-"

"I already told you didn't I?" Nerezza said. "They will catch you if they see you."

"Who?" Athan said as Nerezza started running. "B-bring me down, old-" Athan stopped saying what he was about to say when he heard horses coming in there direction.

"O-old lady?" Athan squeaked.

"Sh*t, they're here. They sure are fast..." Nerezza said. "Well we have no choice so we need to hide in the trees. Since, no one is powerful as your mom they wouldn't be even to detect us."

"Who- ahhh!!!" Athan shouted as Nerezza made him fly all the way to the tree.

"Shhhh!!!" Nerezza said as she came up and covered Athan's mouth. Athan struggled to be released until he heard more horses coming near them then he stayed silent.

Then Athan saw people in uniform and they were all following a man with a gold cape.

'Wow...' Athan thought as he saw the scene below him. 'No way... it is like what mama told me there uniforms!!! Don't tell me... no way...'

"Knights! Scout the area to make sure no one's here!!!" The man shouted and all the knights shouted "Yes, your majesty!!!"

"Very good... remember to tell them to leave if they are people, okay?" Amaranthos turned to the guards.

Athan's eyes widen as he saw Amaranthos' eyes. It was the same as his. It was the same purple and blue shiny like gem eyes.

Athan to look closer at the eyes even below and to see the Emperor even closer.

Athan started to struggle wanting to get release from Nerezza's hold and leaves started to fall yet still Nerezza held Athan like her life depended on it.

Amaranthos looked up at the tree and saw Athan and his eyes widen when he saw his eyes.

Amaranthos and Athan locked eyes and they both were thinking the same thing that they had the exact same eyes and why?
