When I was traveling with Athan to go to the countryside, I started falling asleep and a dream of the long past started to play as I remembered the day before that faithful day happened when I was merely seventeen...

I slapped my knees seven times signaling a recruit to start the operation. The little boy whose name is Carlo nodded his head though trembling slightly ready for the big opportunity he is waiting for and he smiled at me while I gave an encouraging smile back.

He tripped purposely on a merchant though surprised the merchant caught him and glared at him a bit for dirtying his body. "Y-you-"

The Merchant Carlo just tripped on is one of the rising new stars. I researched about him and investigated him if this was the opportunity Carlo has waiting for and thought this is the big chance that Ronald could perfectly execute.

Carlo immediately bowed down and said "I am terribly sorry sir but before y-you punish me please reconsider y-your decision..." Though taken aback I saw the merchant's eye widen a bit and he raised his eyebrow feeling curious. "Why should I a young boy?"

'Bingo' I thought. If I know one thing in life is that everyone has their own charm but most people don't know how to just use it but if they know they could be the most dangerous person in the room and that's what my gang is for. Helping children or teenagers earn money for themselves pr for their families so they could just survive and when they finally can survive on their own without resulting in scamming or stealing they will leave the gang. I teach them how to not only steal or scam but judge, think ahead and adapt to the situation quickly and smoothly.

I looked at Carlo and smirked thinking 'A playboy from such a young age'. Carlo though dirty and a bit sweaty from playing with the other kids is a very handsome young boy. I found him in the streets with his mother who can't talk one day. From what I heard from Carlo he doesn't know who his father is but he doesn't really care because his mother said his noble father left her immediately when he found out she was pregnant saying he is engaged already. Well, his mother wrote to me that his father is quite a looker but I begged to differ seeing his mother's beauty I know exactly where he got his looks from.

"Well, it seems to form your clothes and from your face. You are a very rich merchant but it seems you have stumbled upon a small rock." Carlo said looking up at the Merchant while his eyes narrow a bit feeling suspicious while crossing his arms a bit. "So? How does that relate to your punishment, boy?"

Carlo smiled innocently. 'Yup, a looker.' I thought as I saw flowers and sparkles around Carlo.

"Because..." Carlo paused while copying the merchant's crossed arms. "I know that every Merchant is in a good mood when they make a selling deal so if someone destroys that mood the merchant will get very angry unless that Merchant sees that he stumbled upon another business opportunity?" Carlo nodded a bit and the Merchant's shocked eyes widen and started to laugh as he placed his hand on his h.i.p.s. "Interesting, now what you have to offer to me to not let you get angry?"

'Bingo.' I thought to smile upon Carlo. "I have nothing to offer you sir but..."

"As a payment how about I work for you for free for one month because my mother has always told me to repay my debt." The Merchant's eyes are gleaming full of in Carlo. "Well, do you know what situation you are in, boy? My business is about sending letters. You don't seem too trustable."

"Whether or not I am trustable it all depends on my performance doesn't it Mister?" Carlo said as he placed his hand on his h.i.p.s. 'Nice one...' I thought. The Merchant laughed and said, "By the laws of the Empire I can't employ you because you are Interesting how about becoming my student instead?"

Carlo beamed and glanced at me for a bit while I nodded feeling proud of that future heart breaker. Carlo looked at the Merchant with his eyes sparkling and smiled and they left and started talking.

I sighed happily as I watched their leaving figures. 'Another member is gone...' I thought to look back smiling. I chuckled thinking 'He used many of the techniques I told him.' Then I left again as I saw the sun setting down once more. I sighed changed my clothes to all-black suits and went inside the bar.

The bar is the third most popular one in this village best known for my mom. The famous singer and dancer. My mom let me work here because I have her feet and voice but not her looks. The bar is always dark. I remember one day when I was still new. "Good thing is dark because you are really hideous you never wash your face until now I wonder if you are truly my daughter..." My mother said as she continued to apply makeup.

All the workers even said that to me laughing it off as if its such a funny joke.

I went to the backstage and sat down and close my eyes for a little while. Then Someone tapped my shoulder. I looked back thinking it was one of my coworkers then I saw one of my members, Crystal wearing a server's uniform. My eyes widen and I choked a bit. "B-boss-"

"What are you doing here?!" I whispered angrily while getting her left hand trying to leave the backstage. "B-boss...Boss!" Crystal shouted. I looked back surprised at her sudden outburst. I looked down at the twelve-year-old girl whose hands were trembling. "B-boss, I-i know you are angry but please listen..."

I looked at Crystal and sighed and squatted down to her hight. I held her trembling hands and said "Okay, I am listening... so please tell me what are you doing here?" Crystal bit her trembling lips for a while and said "M-my d-dad, boss"

My eyes widen a bit but I continued "Your dad, what happened to him?"

"His new job working in the east..."

"So, you are earning money to go there?" I asked but she shook her head.

"H-he has been falsely accused by a noble that he stole his watch." Crystal sobbed holding on to me. I hugged her while she hugged me back with her trembling body. I couldn't say any words than saying to her "Everything is going to be fine..."
