"Everything going to plan, Dior?" I said to Dior as I shivered slightly because of the cold breeze. Seems like winter is coming soon...

"Yes, Empress..."

"She is starting to suspect something isn't she?" I said as I sipped my tea. "She is, she is already suspecting you were behind the death of the Late Emperor's illegitimate child. " When Dior said that I started laughing.

"A-aris-"

"Finally that IDIOT started figuring it out!" I laughed as tears started to form in my eyes. After all these months that bird brain finally figured everything out.

I slammed my hands on the table and looked at Dior. "Start the final stage of the plan."

"A-are you sure Empress-" I glared at him and said "You dare question me, Captain of the royal guards?" With that Dior immediately dropped down and kneeled.

"Sorry, I was out of the line Empress!"

"It's okay, Dior and make sure to let Amaranthos know someone is doing something and something is definitely stirring up a rebellion inside the palace. It will help him get distracted from the foreign invaders for a while." I said as I sat down and took another sip of my tea.

"B-but Empress the p-prime minister?!?" Dior exclaimed. "He is the most trusted man of the-"

I looked at Dior coldly feeling irritated. "Remember your place, Captain of the royal guards... remember that I am your Empress and my words are absolute!"

"Yes, your highness." Dior whispered slightly trembling, biting his lips to not say anything further. I sighed and looked into Dior's eyes.

"Remember our goal Dior, even if we are an eagle soaring up high even mere crows can still kill us."

"Y-yes, your highness..." Dior whispered again trembling.

"Captain of the royal guards." I said coldly once more. Dior looked up and I slapped him.

"Get a hold of yourself... " I said to him as he held his face in shock.

"Remember our ending goal is for me to be banished..." I said trembling a bit. "Even if that means I need to stain my hands! I will!!! So always remember that... We will stop the war and the ultimate downfall of our country..."

"Yes, Empress." Dior said standing up recovering from the shock. His eyes burning with passion and sadness remembering our goal once more. My heart ached as I looked at his eyes and said "You are dismissed and call Fee while you are at it. " With that Dior left without a word as a tear slipped from my face as I immediately wiped it.

"FEE!!! Where are you?!? " I screamed as another tear slipped down on my face.

"You are finished, Empress." Fee said as she put on my red lipstick. I looked at myself in the mirror wearing my revealing black and red dress. When I smiled, I heard the maids behind Fee sighed with relief as they still trembled around my presence. "Very good, you all, did a great job today."

I turned around and smirked. "Now let's go pay a visit to the Late Emperor..."

Fee opened the door and as soon as I came out of the room servants who were passing by quietly bowed their heads and started trembling as I glared at them and passed by them.

As soon as I came in front of the Late Emperor's room I sneered at one of the guards and they immediately shouted "Empress Narcissia is coming in!"

I came inside the dirty room and saw the Late Emperor trembling as soon as he saw me. "M-monster!!!" He screamed as the doors closed. He backed away as I came closer. He threw me a pillow and various kinds of objects as I came forward.

"D-don't come any nearer!!! " The Ex-Emperor screamed as I ignored him.

When he threw me the chess piece. Instead of dodging it. I caught it and looked at it, a Queen. What a coincidence.....

Then suddenly I bowed my head before him and his eyes widen.

"W-what?" He said his eyes widening.

"Y-Your unfilial daughter came to pay her respects and she apologizes to her f-father!" I said crying a bit and looked up at my first ever father.

"W-what?" He said once more as his eyes widen even more because of what I said. Then from a distance, I heard loud thunder.

I looked up and smiled at him with sad eyes as another tear slipped down from my eye and said "I-I thought it is best to explain everything to you, your majesty before I kill you tonight..."

His eyes widened a bit shocked at what I said. "W-what d-did y-you j-just s-said?!?"

"Your rule was a grand and good one f-father b-but... you have the same weakness as me, we are too prideful for own good and w-we are both too trusting..."
