Hi I'm Married, But I'm Sleeping With My Boss

Chapter 53 - Family Matters (2)

Li wei looked out for the kid in his office. It'd been two weeks since he had a fight with his wife and stopped by her home

All Zhen did was draw, however his drawings weren't so good to take a gander at. He'd draw on a same spot again and again. Honesty, li wei had no clue about what he would do with the kid. He thought about whether it'll be ideal to enlist him back in the school, or leave him in a therapist care.

His eyes didn't leave the boy and the table he was drawing on. He'd never heard his child's voice and he doesn't think Zhen had ever said a word. His solace was in his trivial drawings and the time he spent away from mingling.

"Zhen" He muttered but the boy didn't stop what he was doing. "Zhen I'm taliking to you!" The boy shook his head still not lifting his hand from the table and also refused to let go of the pencil.

"Zhen say something! Can't you speak?" The kid continued drawing, not reacting to the man's words as though there was positively nobody else in the room but his little self.

Li wei grabbed the pencil from the kid and broke it in two. "Enough Zhen!" he slammed the table and the boy shrieked as adrenaline pumped his system. His father taking the pencil and stopping him from the only thing he could do made his bones lose strength and the engine of his mind started to fail

The small boys hands trembled as he continued to stare at the broken pencil on the floor next to the trash can by a corner.

"Boys your age are playing soccer with their dads! Rough housing with your friends but all you do is sit down and draw! Draw meaningless things! Zhen snap out of it! Snap out of the hypnosis you're in. Life is more than this crap you're drawing" The boy felt his throat tighten and his heart beat against his c.h.e.s.t listening carefully to his fathers words but still had his eyes on the pencil.

Li wei plunked down on his seat and let out a profound m.o.a.n and the kid stayed glued to his seat.

"Zhen...what do you want me to do? How do you want me to help you when you aren't even making progress in anyway?"

"I'm trying..." Tears gushed down the eyes of the kid. Li Wei watched the boy's break down. His first words in years, now he could remember what his son sounded like.

In the next twenty minutes, zhen was at the back seat of his dads car, the broken pencils in his hands and his eyes brimming with tears. Li wei pulled up before a shopping center and got out. He opened the back seat door for his little boy and the kid slowly came out.

He held unto his dad's hand and was led into the building. He gazed at the cleaned floors deliberately staying away from eye to eye connection with the surge of individuals in the building.

"Two burgers, pack of french fries and an ice cream" Li wei chose to take his son out as a sort of substitution for a verbal statement of apology.

The boy stared at the food until he heard his Father's command for him to eat and he stuffed a mouth full if ch.i.p.s then chewed.

"Zhen just eat normally. It's not too hard" the kid didn't know precisely what to do but he simply continued battling to chew the food in his mouth.

"And take your ice cream. Don't let it melt okay" the kid sat idle but nodded then continued his robotic movements. Li wei paid for the food then exited with zhen following right behind him.

Presently the time had come to return him to his mom. It started to rain and soon the wind shield was covered with downpour drops. He activated the wiper and the headlights and also drove at a low mph.

Zhen stared at the windows, watching the buildings and people with umbrellas that passed by. He tallied the cars that he saw on the road and waved at them goodbye whenever his father drove ahead of them.

In under an hour The mists started to clear up and Li Wei pulled over at his wife's home. The door was left opened and the first thing he saw and what his child also saw was his mom on top of another man. Precisely in the living room.

The woman shrieked and so did the man she invited over. They grabbed their clothes and covered up themselves. Li wei had his hands covering his son's eyes but he wasn't going to blurt out anger on his wife neither the strange man.

"If it's not too much trouble, leave" Jie murmured into her sweethearts ear and the man gestured as he got up. Put on his garments and cleared a path to the front door shutting it behind him and leaving the wedded couple to deal with what had occurred.

He crouched to Zhen's height and smiled as if nothing happened. "Be a good boy okay" He hauled out a pencil from his pocket soon the boys face had a wide grin as he took hold of the thing that made him so powerful, a pencil.

"I'm sorry for yelling okay" he kissed the boy's forehead then excused himself without saying a word to his wife. He really didn't care less, all that mattered to him was his son.

a month had passed and he enrolled Zhen back in his school but didn't make their father and son relationship known. He supplanted the story with a passed away sibling and his obligation as an uncle to raise Zhen. He didn't deny the realities that the kid was mentally unbalanced, he invalidated reality of him being the father.

As usual, the boy was drawing again in his Father's office. Li wei heard a knock and he thought it would be a staff. He opened it and his jaw dropped when his eyes scanned the woman in front of him "Miss Zhao?"

"Good Afternoon Mr Li Wei. Can I come in?" he gradually shut the door as soon she stepped in. He additionally pulled out a seat for her beside his son.

"Hello there" she waved but the boy didn't respond he just kept drawing.

"He's autistic..."

"Is he yours?"

"No" Zhen dropped his pen, and looked at li wei. Li Wei's heart raced as sweat formed on his forehead caused by the fear of his secret being revealed to the number one person he's hiding it from.

"He's my nephew. My late brother's son"

She pat his head and smiled at the boy before turning to the man leaning against the wall "I came to apologize to you. I'm so sorry for raising my voice at you and for my childish behavior" she clasped her hands together genuinely sorry for what she'd done.

"Conciliatory sentiment not acknowledged, except if you let me take you out for dinner."

She smiled lightly but her business schedules made her think other wise "I just need us to talk about something Miss Zhao" She nodded "It's settled then. Just pick a date, any date. I'll postpone my business meetings."

Dinner with another man again. They just keep coming.
