"Sir, the Zhao twins have been gone for a while now and there might be a storm."

Li wei got up, "I think I know where they are just give me some minutes" The man dashed out. The flakes pressure increased and he was blinded by the whiteness.

"Li Na!!! Li Hua!!!" Li wei trudged through the snow looking for the girls. He was scared, he'd wondered if the effects of the cold got to them.

The deeper he went, the more the flakes swirled in unseen currents. The girls were struggling to get back to school, holding tight until each other as they marched forward leaving their footprints formed in the snow.

In the blizzard there was no way to know which direction to go, the usual landmarks were hidden behind the white that swirled so densely. Li Na could feel her blood cool and her skin become icy. They shouldn't have stayed out too long, not in the weather. Li hua was far ahead and she cried out to her sister to not give up but the wind carried her voice faster than she could speak.

Li Wei was terrified. He kept on pushing ahead, disregarding the cold sentiment of his feet. He kept his eyes halfway shut to shield it from the blinding white. All his heart could do is beat warm blood around his veins in a hope that the storm will end, and he'd get the kids back to safety.

He saw two little figures from the a separation and propelled himself forward to contact them. He battled through the breeze that backed him off however he was quick enough to grasp the shuddering youngsters.

Soon Li Na lost lost balance and the screams of her sister muffled down until she couldn't hear anything at all.

"Li Hua..." Li Na called her sister's name and the girl quickly answered "I'm so glad you're okay" Li Na smiled as the girls locked fingers.

"Mom's worried sick..."

"Li Na" Merlin walked in, her eyes already brimming "Thank God you woke up" Li Na didn't say anything, she still had her eyes on her sister.

"I'm fine now" she said discourteously. Meilin wrinkled her brows a bit offended by her to new but she waved it off because the overwhelming feeling of her daughter regaining consciousness warmed her heart.

"You need to eat Li Na" Meilin sat down on the bed and placed the tray by her side "it's your favorite... banana pudding" The girl had no expression whatsoever by the food.

Meilin was trying her best not to bring up the fact that the kids went ahead to the cafe even though she warned them not to. Li Na's attitude was provoking her, but she was fighting the urge to not smack her.

"Eat Li Na" she held a spoon to her mouth but the young girl s.u.c.k.e.d her lips in and turned her head to the side.

If not for Li wei the girls would've been gone but she was glad someone like him went out in the storm to get them to a safe zone.

Not only did she find out that they went to the cafe, she additionally got hold of the photo the children took with Haru. Li Hua knew but she didn't tell her sister because she just woke up. She was certain they'd stir up a plan to get it back somehow.

"Okay since you don't want to eat. I'll move on to the next segment of your wake up surprise. Explain to me why you went to the cafe?"

The girl ignored. She brought out the photograph from her purse "You don't want to tell me. Well that's fine" Meilin got up with the photo in her hands as she walked to the furnace.

"No don't!!!"

Li Na watched her mother throw the photo into the burning furnace. Her daughter burst into tears but she wasn't going to do anything about it. She needed to discipline her a little And stand her ground as the mother and also demand the respect she's supposed to get from the twins but lately they'd grown wings all because of Haru.

He just came to demolish the relationship she had with her children and he did a great job since she was certain twins detested her but to her everything she was doing was for their own good.

She picked up her phone and dialed li Wei's number. "Hello-"

"Mr Li Wei...Thanks for bringing my children back home. The heater warmed her up and she's fully awake now. Thanks once again."

"you're Welcome—"

"please don't hang up yet. I have one more thing to say...I'm sorry. I'm sorry for everything. Whenever you're ready, we can talk"

"No problem" he hung up and meilin sighed. She wasn't happy at all, but she had to find a way to cry less.

At night, with eyes closed Meilin slept in the comfort of her bed. The night was of pure mid night velvet and the peaking moonlight shun so bright on her skin.

With every moment came peace she searched badly for, and, with every breath, exuberance. She finally kept happy thoughts in her mind and ended up sleeping comfortably. She'd stayed up late trying to mellow down her worries and fears but she finally caged negativity and locked somewhere off in the depths of her muse.

Li hua ran to her mom's room to wake her up. Something bad and dangerous had happened. "Mother! Mother!!" She shook her resting mother and the lady woke up "What is it?"

"Li Na ran away!" Li hua cried. Meilin's heart pounded her c.h.e.s.t. It was hard to believe. She was distressed and confused. She didn't know the next thing to do. Her angel ran away, she fled into a fiendish world loaded up with things that no children should know.

"In her letter... she said she's going to look for dad. Mom I'm scared..." Meilin tried her best to calm down but she was being engulfed by different emotions. Her breathing was erratic, traveling from deep to shallow. The fear made her weak and her mind paranoid making it hard to formulate a thought.

"I'm going to call the police. I've had enough of Haru threatening the tranquility of my family" She wailed and her tears ran down like a cascade.

"Hello, this is Meilin Zhao speaking. My daughter has been kidnapped."
