"What am I going to do in this city? I never thought of it until now" he opened up his laptop, and went through a web page for available jobs he could get. That's when he got an email pop up "What's this?" he arched a brow as he moved his cusor to the email icon and clicked on the notification.

He had a sum of a hundred messages from a familiar individual and twenty new limited time gigs he pursued. The name displayed was familiar, it had Zhao and the titles were 'come back.' he selected all, closed his eyes then clicked on the delete option.

There was no need for her to stress any longer he's back. But he didn't come back for her.

"Hey there" Mihyo walked into Li hua's room and the kid glared at her. "Rule number four...do not enter without my consent" she tossed her pillow at the young lady however with reflexes, Mihyo knocked it away.

"Rule number five! No intruders" She growled and Mihyo rolled her eyes "Well you should get used to this because I'll be here more often" Mihyo smiled as she approached the girl's bed then took a seat at the edge.

"I'm Mihyo... what's your name?"

"Go away!" She said moving away from the new sitter her mom hired. "Your mother will be away for a month, that is the reason i'm here. Just to ensure you aren't desolate" She said with a saucy smile.

Li Na wasn't listening neither allowed herself to be moved by the obscure individual. She wanted to be alone.

"I'll always be here for you okay. In case you need me, I'll be in the guest room but I have to see your sister first"

"do whatever you want" she hissed. Mihyo waved then left, closed the door and sighed "Things I do for love."

She went down the stairs and walked towards the front door. Meilin hinted Mihyo on li hua's hiding place, the garden. She goes there whenever she's sad. She was sad most of the time because of everything that was happening in the family and Meilin could blame no one but herself. Other times she'd shift the blame to Haru but, it never helped in anyway.

"Li hua!!!" Mihyo called out as she walked down the stony path to the garden gate. She examined the lawn and was indeed satisfied by the bright shade of green especially the big tree situated somewhere that seemed to be the middle of the garden. Gnomes were placed around it, different sizes and figurines. Probably Meilin was interested in those type of things.

Mihyo continued to walk, calling out Li Hua's name until she came across a girl on a swing. Li hua closed her eyes, enjoying the almost floating sensation as the world blended together whilst she rocked back and forth at a slow pace.

"Hey there" Mihyo moved towards the young girl as she lifted her hand to pat her head "Who are you?" she asked and Mihyo kneeled to her height to reply as the swing came to a halt.

"Your mother contracted me to look out for you and your sister. Treat me as a companion, since I'll generally be here for you"

The girl burst into tears and grabbed Mihyo tight "I miss mummy" Mihyo didn't expect The outpour so soon but it was for her own advantage. She wrapped her arms around the girl "it's okay mummy will be back soon. It's time for lunch, follow me" she held unto the girl and led her back to the mansion then sat her down on the dining seat.

Mihyo affably asked The present steward, Mr Fu's substitute if he could get Li Na downstairs but he shook his head. He couldn't do that. She was stubborn, and hardly eats lunch. Just spends her day reading books, listening to rock music and sleeping. Sometimes sneaks out when no one's watching and takes a thing or two from the fridge whenever she's hungry.

"I'm still going to give her lunch" Mihyo packed up the food for Li na and went up to her room to drop it off.

Mihyo opened the door and tiptoed to the bed. li Na was cocooned in her blanket. mihyo could hear the girl's sniffle "Are you crying?"

The voice was familiar to li Na and she got angry that mihyo came back "I thought I made it clear that intruders aren't allowed and I'm not crying" It was typical for Li na to act strong even when she's weak. She didn't want to be like her mom, she wanted to have her own personality but there was a clash with her real self, that's why she stayed locked up to hide it.

"If you have problems it's best if you share. I know you haven't eaten today, I just came to tell you that your food's on the table..."

"get out!" She hollered from under the thick spread and mihyo did as she said.

Meilin strolled down the bustling streets of Singapore, she'd recently shown up and she chose to go for a short walk. She halted abruptly as her eyes met with a traditional puppet, one she'd always wanted when she was a young lady same age with her little girls.

' maybe my girls would love it'

She wasn't so sure but when she was younger all the girls in her school had one but she didn't. It wasn't because she couldn't afford it, but her father would never want her to.

"It's almost Christmas and I know I'll be back home by then. I'll just wrap the toys up in a box and keep them for December."

"Did you make this?" it had already been two weeks since Meilin left and Li hua was already fond of Mihyo. Especially her food.

"Yeah i did. I can tell you like it" The twins loved her food. li Na actually did but she wasn't willing to admit it. Mihyo had plenty of tricks up her sleeves so drawing li Na out of her room wasn't a big deal however she was deliberately postponing it.

"Excuse me" Mihyo got up from her seat and turned for the staircase. Li hua knew what she was going to do and to the girl, it would simply be another vain endeavor for the fifteenth time that week. It was close to impossible for li Na to come out, Meilin couldn't do it without force and Li na wouldn't give in to anyone but her mother.

Once again Mihyo opened the door without knocking and Li na couldn't only murmured. She was tired of repeating the same thing over and over again because Mihyo would never listen.

"Li hua told me about your father"

Li na clenched her fist. It was supposed to be a family secret but li hua never fails to leave her mouth running like the snitch she's always been.

"yeah so? It's none of your business. I'm not gonna talk about him with someone like you because I don't like you one bit" she covered herself fully with her blanket not willing to hear any more from mihyo.

"What if I told you that I actually know your father from somewhere"

"That's impossible! Dad only got released a year ago" she shouted clearly doubting what the teen was saying. She thought it was another one of her tricks of trying to get closed to her.

"Take a look at this picture, it's recent. You can see the date. We were celebrating his 46th birthday"

Li Na swiped her phone from the girl's grip. She paused, it was hard to believe. Mihyo wasn't lying but how did she know they were related.

"Who are you?" Li Na couldn't understand anymore. Who was she to her father? Did they still keep in touch? She thought of more questions to make her doubt because she could sense she was getting emotional. Mihyo finally found her weak spot.

"I know your father. I know a lot about him. I came all the way from Korea just to stay by his side and I also want you to experience the joy he brings into multiple lives. Do you trust me?"

If it would bring Haru back to the house li Na would act without exception "what do I have to do?"
