His Little Pet

Chapter 25 - Results Are In

We sat in his office, going over some paperwork for the next meeting tonight.

"Can't we take a break for a few minutes? We've been going over all of this for a hour now. It's boring me..." I drone out as I lean back in the chair, swiveling it around.

"We're almost done Kätzchen, give it another thirty minutes okay?"

I spun around in the chair a couple more time before taking a seat next to him on the loveseat. I wrapped my arms around his neck, c.a.r.e.s.sing his cheek and placing small kisses on his neck.

"Kätzchen, what exactly are you trying to accomplish right now?"

I continued with the kisses on his neck and moved my hand to his upper t.h.i.g.h, slowly making my way higher up until it was rested on his crotch.

"I don't know what you're talking about..."

I squeezed slightly and he stopped what he was working on, setting the pen down on the table. He grabbed my hand, pulling it off of him. In one swift movement, he had both my hands pinned above my head in one of his, and he was now straddling me.

"You know exactly what you're doing Kätzchen, so be careful."

My breathing got a little heavier as he leaned in closer to me.

"Or what?" I dared to ask.

His other hand made it's way down to my c.h.e.s.t, undoing the top two buttons of my blouse, exposing my c.h.e.s.t just enough. He started to c.a.r.e.s.s, then kiss them.

"You know I won't be able to control myself with you... I'll take you right here, right now."

"Well then, don't leave me waiting now."

He got that ravenous look in his eyes and started to kiss me, biting the bottom lip, tugging at it as he pulled away. A small m.o.a.n escaping me as he did.

Then there was a knock on the door... He stopped what he was doing for a second, then continued.

"Shouldn't you get that Roman?" I said between kisses.

"They'll go away, I'm more interested in this right now."

Another knock.

And another.

He stopped once again, sighing as he leaned up a bit. A look of annoyance on his face.

"Who is it? If it can wait, then come back later. I'm a little busy right now."

He went to lean back down towards me but stopped when he heard the voice on the other side of the door.

"It's me Roman, and I'd much rather do this now please."

~~~~~
My blood started to boil slightly as her voice filled the room. This couldn't have happened at a worst time. I stood up, adjusting myself before taking a seat behind my desk. Zylith sat up, buttoning her shirt back up and fixing her slightly disturbed hair.
"Come in."
The door opens and she walks in. Striding over to my desk with a sealed envelope in hand. She stopped when she reached the desk, and Zylith stood up.
"I'll just step out then..."
"Sit. You don't need to leave."
Airi turned from Zylith to me with a shocked and confused look on her face.
"But Roman, this is a private matter. I don't think your little... secretary needs to be here. It doesn't concern her."
That instantly angered me, and I wanted to slap that smug look off of her face.
"First off, she's not my secretary, she's my girlfriend. Secondly, private matter or not, there's nothing I need to keep from her. If it concerns me, then it concerns her. Zylith, please take your seat."
She hesitantly did as I told her, and Airi gave off a look of defeat.
"Fine." She said as she took a seat in front my my desk.
"The tests you wanted done. Unopened, straight from the test center. You can have a look for yourself, I've already known the results for quite some time."
She slid the envelope across my desk towards me, and I took it. The postage was directly from the center, that she wasn't lying about. I opened it up and removed the sheets that were inside.
I carefully started going over each page, trying to make sure it was all legit doc.u.ments. I could feel my face go pale as I read over the results.
"I told you, he's YOUR son Roman. I know this isn't how you wanted things to go, it's not how I wanted them to go either. Believe me. But it is what it is."
I didn't know what to say. I looked over at Zylith, my poor Kätzchen... her head was hung down towards her l.a.p, and she didn't say a word. I know how she must feel about this right now.
"How's Cain?" The only thing that seemed to come to mind at the moment.
"Cain? I honestly couldn't tell you... He left the second he found out I was pregnant. He didn't want to be a part of that, whether the child was his or not."
"So you've been raising him by yourself this whole time? How old is he now? And why did you wait until now to do this?"
She looked down at her hands.
"Yes, it's just been me. He's three now, and he looks just like you. You want to see?"
Before I could answer she shoved her phone in my face with a picture of a little boy. I had to admit, he was quite cute. But he didn't look like me... not in my opinion.
"Airi, my question..."
"Right... well, he's quite smart for his age. And he's getting more and more curious about his dad, I didn't think I could put it off any longer. I couldn't see him grow up without a father figure in his life. And..."
She stopped and looked away.
"And what, Airi?"
"I've been struggling with money lately. I haven't been able to get him all the proper care, and I figured that with you now being able to be in the picture as his father... maybe you'd be willing to help. I know it's a lot to ask but-"
I should have known she had some alteriour motive behind all this.
"So that's really why you're here. You had nothing left when both I and Cain were out of the picture."
"No, that's not what I-"
"How much?"
Airi and Zylith both shot their heads up to look at me when I said that.
"What did you say?"
She looked at me with a blank expression.
"I said, how much? What do you need for him?"
"I... well. 200,000... it'll help cover medical and daycare costs while I look for a stable job."
I took out my checkbook and wrote her a check for 300,000.
"Here. For the child only... medical and daycare costs. A little extra for any essential he needs."
"Roman, I, I don't know what to say. Thank y-"
"No need. I'm doing it for the child, now if you'll excuse us, we have a meeting we must get to."
Well all stood up. Airi and I walked over to the door, she thanked me again and headed down the hall. I sighed in relief as she left and turned back towards Zylith. She was sitting again, so I joined her.
"Kätzchen, are you alright?"
I grabbed her hand in mine, bringing it to my lips and softly kissing it.
"Why'd you right her that check Roman? Can't you see she's just trying to rope you in, using the kid as an excuse?"
She pulled her hand away.
"Of course I can. But it'll get her off my back for the time being, while I try to figure things out."
She got up from the loveseat and made her way over to my desk, sitting in my chair. She grabbed the papers and started looking over them, then her face changed, and she looked at me with a very serious expression.
"I'm not 100%, but I think you'll want to get these results looked at. Or completely redone if I'm honest. Something isn't right with this Roman."
I gave a questioning look.
"What do you mean Kätzchen?"
"What I mean Roman, is that I think she's had these results altered. I don't think he's your son."
