His Little Pet

I've been working on more and more deals with Mr. Li within this past month. I still haven't quite figured him out, or what his personality really is though. He always just seems so monotone. There is the occasional time here and there when he shows off that gorgeous smile of his, or says those same words to me whenever I say something that amuses him. Mein süßes Kätzchen. I still don't know what they mean, but they always seem to come out in a rather smoot, s.e.xy tone that shoots sparks throughout my body. I shutter at just the thought of it.

"Are you thinking about the boss again, Zylith?"

I snap out of my train of thoughts about Mr. Li at the sound of Lilith's voice. We're both sitting on my bed, finally enjoying a full day off work. It's been so hectic around there, none of us have really gotten any free time. You'd think we would be doing something a little more fun or productive but no, instead we've spent a good portion of our day sitting in my apartment binge watching shows on Netflix and eating junk.

Lilith is three years older than me but her and I have been best friends ever since I can remember. Without her, I don't think I ever would have made it through my parents deaths. She's also the reason I was able to get this job, due to her working there and pulling some strings for me. I'll never be able to repay her for everything she's done for me as long as I live, but that doesn't mean I'll stop trying.

"Don't be so ridiculous Lil, why would I be thinking about Mr. Li?"

"Uh, maybe because you're totally crushing on the man." I look at her wide eyed with shock.

"I am not! Why would you even think that Lil? He's our boss, I can't, and do not, think about him that way." I say, trying to defend myself.

She nudges me with her elbow, cooing with laughter.

"Oh come on Zy, I know you! You're so crushing on Mr. Li hard core, and it shows hun, there's no hiding it. Might as well just admit it."

She gets up off my bed and walks over to my wardrobe, shuffling through my clothes until she finds something that peeks her interest. She pulls out a sleek strapless black dress with slits making their way down the side, increasing in size the lower they get. She then pulls out a pair of blood red and black heels to pair with the dress.

"I hear the way you talk about him after all the meetings you have about those deals he keeps giving you to work on... Mr. Li this and Mr. Li that. Even on your off day you can't help but think about the man! I mean I guess I can't blame you, he is like a Greek God in looks, and that's WITH clothes on. Imagine him without anything on, showing off all those muscles and.."

"Okay okay! Enough already Lilith, you made your point" I say as throw my hands up in defeat. She just smiles that cheeky grin at me as always when she wins.

"I'm a horrible person for thinking of my boss that way, aren't I?" I throw my face in the palms of my hands as I feel my cheeks start to heat up.

"Oh honey, we've all been there, don't worry. You'd have to be a mad woman to not mentally undress the man whenever he was around. Now, you're going to put this dress and these heels on, and we're going to actually go out and have some fun. You need to loosen up a little! Get out there, have a little fun, and maybe meet a hot new stranger to get your mind off Mr. Gorgeous."

"I don't know Lil, that's not really my forte..." I try to ease my way out of it but she won't give in. She grabs a hold of my hands and pulls me to my feet, placing the items in my arms, and nudgeing me towards my bathroom.

"My point exactly Zy, you need to expand your horizons, be more out there if you want to accomplish more in life. You'll never get anywhere by sitting here eating junk and binging The Good Doctor. Now, go shower and get ready. I'll head home to freshen up, and I'll meet you at club Luscious in thirty, okay?" I groan and pout my way to the shower, knowing that I'll never win with her when she has her mind set on something.

This was going to be an interesting night..

I make my way down the alley to the line of people waiting to get in. From what I've heard, this is one of the best spots in the city to go to have the time of your life. It's also one of the hardest places to get into. How was Lilith going to get us in anyways? I didn't want to be one of the losers that gets turned away at the door after waiting in line for like an hour. I take my place in the line that seems to run at least a mile long in one direction, before hearing Lilith shouting at me from the door. What is this woman doing? Is she crazy??

"Zylith! Zylith, come here!" she shouts, not caring what kind of scene she's making. I walk over to her, trying to tuck my face away from all the evil looks I was getting from everyone else waiting in line.

"Lil, what are you doing? How are we even getting into this place?" I whisper/shout at her. She only smiles at me and pulls me in through the doors. I can barely even hear myself think as soon as I walk into the club. The music is loud, the room is blazing with flashing lights of all different colours, and the dance floor is so packed with people having the night of their lives that you can barely maneuver your way through.

At this point I'm being dragged behind Lilith as she pulls me to the bar and starts ordering us drinks. A few drinks in and she's already got a poor guy wrapped around her little finger, who is now buying all of our, or should I say HER, drinks. He's quite cute, I have to admit, but he also doesn't look like he's old enough to even be getting into this club. That doesn't stop her from talking with him for the next hour and half though.

I finally cave and grab a hold of her arm to turn her to face me.

"I'm glad you're hitting it off with this cute little fella here, but he doesn't look like he's even legal yet" I practically have to yell for her to hear me. She smiles as she leans in closer.

"Don't worry Zy I know what I'm doing! He just turned 18 last month, he's totally legal! And guess what? He's going to school to become a doctor, how hot is that?!" She jumps around in her seat with excitement and I can't help but laugh at her. She may be older than I am, but she's defiantly the more child like one. She also thinks a doctor is the s.e.xiest profession for a guy, I don't know.

"If you say you got this, then I won't be the one to interfere with your fun. Just please be careful okay?"

"Thank you thank you thank you, I LOVE you Zy! And don't wait up for me, I probably won't be back tonight" she jumps with so much excitement at my approval, then grabs my face between both hands and gives me a huge, but quick kiss. This girl, I swear.

"Wait, where are you going then?"

"Back to his place of course, silly!" I groan at her response, she's going to be the death of me one day.

"At least turn on your location for me so I'll know where you are in case anything weird happens, okay? And please be careful." She nods in agreement.

"Sure thing hun, but just so you know, there will DEFINITELY be some weird, and very kinky things happening tonight" she says with a wink. She sure is something else, this girl.

Lil then grabs the kids hand and drags him behind her as they leave the club. And now it's just me... in a place I've never been, surrounded by a bunch of drunk, and presumably high people. I finish off my drink and as I'm about to turn to leave, I'm greeted by a hand extended towards me.

"Aushi Ota" he says with a friendly smile. My mind doesn't quite comprehend what's going on at first, and I just stare at his hand. Then him, and back at his hand.

"This is usually the part where you tell me your name and then I say that it's nice to meet you and we strike up a conversation" He says with a slight chuckle in his voice.

"Right, sorry. Zylith Reins." I feel my cheeks heat up with embarrassment. I grab his hand and he returns the gesture with a firm but gentle grip.

"Well, it's nice to meet you Zylith. That's a beautiful name for an even more beautiful women" he coos as he lifts my hand up to his mouth and places a single small kiss. He's quite attractive, but I can't help but get this weird feeling, so I pull my hand out of his grip.

"Can I buy you another drink?" He gestures to my now empty cup.

"Thank you, Mr. Ota. It was a p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e meeting you, but I was actually just heading out." I get up off my seat and turn to leave again.

"How about some coffee then? I know a nice quiet little cafe, best coffee in town." I stop and turn back towards him. He flashes a smile, showing off his gorgeous, perfectly straight white teeth. I can't help but feel a little guilt for turning him down without any real reason.

"How about another time?" I borrow a pen from the bartender and grab his hand, writing down my number.

"I'll gladly accompany you when I'm next free, just shoot me a text sometime okay?" He stares at my number on his hand with a quite s.e.xy smirk.

"It's a date then. Have a wonderful night Zylith, I look forward to seeing you again soon."

I turn to leave once more, this time without being stopped by the persistent stranger. As I make my way to my car, my phone starts going off. I quickly answer without looking at who it is.

"Is everything alright, nothing weird happened did it? Do you need me to pick you up?" I spit it out all at once without a single thought, assuming that it's Lilith.

"Miss Reins, I can assure you I'm quite alright. No need to worry Mein süßes Kätzchen."
