Chapter 4 “The Sealed Cat Monster Part 2”

The little hamster wasn’t so pleased after hearing that dumbstruck comment: “Landlord, quit playing around, that thing is a ghost filled with resentment. There’s no way it can understand you or communicate back.”

To say the little one felt wronged was no understatement. First it was the monster hunters outside when he fled, and now there’s a ghost threatening his living environment. What else could go wrong, right?

“Gulp…!” Dawn felt his hope flying out into the heavens. It’s bad enough that he’s going to die, it’s even worse to die a virgin!

No way of communicating, that meant the only recourse would be to escape. Staring at the female ghost behind his back, Dawn slowly retreated and quietly signaled the hamster to get ready to gun it. Unfortunately, in the last second where he’s ready to bounce, his vision was covered by the tragically white face of the ghost as it closed in on him.

FUCK!!

Shrinking in his pupils over the terrifying face, he lost his breath and choked. He could see it now, the scythe of the death god coming down from above and slicing his own head off.

But a female ghost didn’t have a scythe. What she did have though were a pair of hands with razor-sharp nails that lifted him up like its nothing. Not only that, in the moment where the hamster tried to jump and save Dawn, the hair around the woman promptly extended and grappled around that tiny body, thus locking the hamster in an iron firm knot.

Dawn flailed around profusely as he struggled for his life because he could there were no hesitation in the eyes of this ghost. He meant nothing to her even if he’s killed. Before long, his eyes felt heavy as the oxygen drained from his cells.

“Humph!” Just when the guy could no longer hold on, a firm and harsh grunt suddenly echoed around the room.

On cue, a blast of light exploded out of Dawn’s body before a slender silhouette materialized next to him. Then with a wave of that slender arm, black blades of light cut down at the extending hair before the newcomer sends a spinning kick at the female ghost for a finisher. Like that, both Dawn and the hamster were freed from the grips of death.

Leaning back on the coffee table and gasping for breath, the guy never felt so thankful to the heavens right now. Of course, he didn’t forget his savior, which he examined with gratitude once he got some air into those lungs.

A beautiful young lady, this was the first impression. In fact, his heart nearly flew out at her with that dark silky hair and tiny sized waist of a supermodel. To put the cherry on top, she’s sporting his favorite wardrobe of a short pant and short t-shirt. Matched that with the black leg stockings, she’s the embodiment of a gothic themed goddess. Best of all, those eyes were his favorite color – sapphire blue!

It’s definite a knockout for Dawn. A female idol, definitely star quality!

“Hey brother, want to stand back first? This one isn’t done yet.” The beautiful lady stepped in front of Dawn and had her back to him without looking around.

As if to confirm her words, the female ghost that was knocked back didn’t lose any momentum. She’s still as creepy and dark, but more threatening as those claw-like arms reached up and began slashing the air frantically in frustration. Those eyes may be hollow, but the anger was as real as it comes in this ghost.

Strangely enough, Dawn had a different opinion on the matter. Instead of only seeing anger, he saw pain within the ghost’s eye despite no obvious sign of this being so. In fact, his instincts are telling him something was pulling at the ghost’s soul, stretching it like a rubber band from overhead.

“What is going on?” He mutters in confusion.

The pretty lady ignored him. She’s busy watching the ghost for any opening, and sure enough, she attacked in the next second. Leaving behind a black afterimage, the newcomer swung down with a hand in a chopping motion and cut the ghost’s head clean off.
