As Dawn suspected, the weakest link lay in the neck. Once the pretty lady dislodged the head from the body, a terrifying screech blasted the room and shattered every glass object in the vicinity. Dawn cusped his head out of reflex due to the shockwave, but the hamster wasn’t so fortunate and directly fainted from the sound blast.

“Is it over?” Dawn peers up after waiting for a while and heard nothing, “Is it alright now? Is that female ghost gone? Did you destroy it?”

The pretty lady swings around and slightly frowns at the bombardment of words: “Of course not, the ghost withdrew on her own for some reason when I saw an opening. I suspect it will come back in the future for you.”

Dawn’s hopeful expression immediately crumbled. “Then what should I do?”
