Dear April,

I know this letter is extremely inappropriate and I could get into trouble for sending it, but, I miss you so much. You know I love you and have loved you for such a long time. Even now I can see the daisies and smell the sunflowers from last August, when we travelled to those massive flower fields and ate strawberries while drinking champagne. You love champagne, it was always your number one drink - even on weekdays.

I found out you're happily in a relationship from your step-brother William; he's always telling me things he shouldn't - or, so they say. I haven't forgotten about Maeve! She still has my heart and soul, that beautiful young girl. I didn't mean to hurt our… Maeve. It was an accident.

We all do bad things and some do worse things, like that one time you gave Arthur nuts, and he was allergic, and he had to go to the emergency room. That was really bad, April. You shouldn't have given him the nutty biscuits, we did have nut-free cookies.

You always get at me for the bad things you did! And you drove me into a bad place - somewhere you never want to be. I am sorry that you feel you can't get by without hurting people around you but I still love you, I truly do. You are just like me with your evil twists and stingy bite. You'll never get away from that insatiable urge to hurt people you love. I know, you told me when we were drunk two years ago, July seventh. I remember how happy it made me, knowing you just couldn't help yourself.

Our wedding gave me the happiest memories, flowers so fresh you could smell them from a mile, candles scented with lavender and a cake so red - you could see it shine. Although those little details were wonderful, I worshipped your dress. It looked absolutely gorgeous. Hm, I also remember ripping it off and making rough love to you. Hearing you say my name in a flirty tone still gives me chills, oh how I looked forward to our wedding night - more than food.

At the end of the day everything has to end, I still am your husband, divorcing me wasn't your decision. The judge forced your hand and made you cry. I saw your contorted expression. You didn't even say goodbye. I shouted for you and you left me! I fought against the officers and assaulted a woman, just to see you for a second longer. Remembering all the details of your face, body… I still think about you fondly.

There isn't anything to stimulate you in here. Not even the officer's show a bit of flesh. It's quite unfortunate, I want to feel you again, even if it's all imaginary. Don't you miss my touch? I know you craved it once upon a time. You'd get angry if I didn't do what you wanted or even hit me to boost some sort of s.e.x.u.a.l tension into action. Naughty girl.

I don't have much paper left and I wanted to say something only you would understand.

I enjoyed killing your boss, he forced you into having an affair and gave you nothing but bad thoughts about me. When you accused me of cheating I knew he'd plagued your mind with something wicked! You even tried to take Maeve away from me and that's how it all began.

Our poor daughter's face ended up burned, you had to disturb me while cooking, boiling hot water is no game April, you knew that and yet you still pushed me over the line. And Maeve was left with second degree burns on the left side of her face. She'll never forgive you, baby. And you have to live with that.

Before I go, I noticed you have a new car, Black Toyota. How fancy! You always had the best taste in cars.

I know you're probably scared and you shouldn't be, everything is going to be alright. I Understand that Maeve misses me and your new boyfriend isn't good for you. He hasn't been home in a few days, I wonder where he is. It's gotta be quite late now, you've got Maeve home from school and dinner to prepare, I hope she is happy to see Daddies back from the bad place.

I love you, my Darling.

I'll see you soon,

Markus.
