Human In The Marvel World

They came to me and gave me my award and then there was a loud round of applause. Soon the other winners were announced and I made sure to introduce myself to them since if they were to help me it would greatly boost my plans, unfortunately no one lives near me so I just had their numbers at the moment.

I had wanted to stay low profile originally but now I would get to meet Howard Stark much sooner and get closer to SHIELD faster.

We went back to the hotel and at night we went down to have dinner.

"Let's order a lobster, it's a special occasion honey."

"It sure is, I'm going to be bragging about this genius son of mine over here to my squad when I get back."

"Please don't do that dad, if I ever meet one of your squad members they're going to think I'm some sort of nerdy guy and give me an encyclopedia as gift instead of money or sweets."

"Well you should avoid sweets if possible, they make your teeth go bad and black, it's horrible for you."

"No it isn't. That's only true if you have too many." I fired back.

"Which you definitely would do."

"No, I wouldn't."

"Honey, leave him be he's had a long day."

"I was just saying. Don't worry."

We talked more some more and after having dinner we went to bed, I had felt someone following us ever since we had left the dinner table so I was on my guard ever since. I waited for my parents to be asleep and immediately went to my astral form to see if someone was following us but I couldn't find anyone. At this point I wished I had learnt a few tracking spell, I could only find them and then use a talisman to track them.

So without an aim I started poking around and entering random rooms to make sure everything was alright. Fortunately most people were asleep and were doing nothing too much.

But then I entered a room and heard a man furiously typing away something on a typewriter and besides him was a file with a name of one of the winners and it said most likely to convert in pencil.

I used my talisman and placed a tracker on him, I wanted to look into the file more but he wasn't giving me the chance to do so. Now I had no choice but to leave him.

I went back to my room and opened a portal to Kamar-Taj, I had looked at what the person who followed me was typing but it seemed to be in some sort of code, I came to the library hoping to find an easy spell on decoding cryptic messages.

I found some stuff but it was extremely complicated, it even required me to learn a new language. I thought I might as well just learn it. It might help me in the exam. I'm still not sure as to who that person was but I needed to find out soon.
