Human In The Marvel World

I was going through books at a shocking speed, using magic to give me photographic memory temporarily, this would hurt a lot when I stopped using magic since all of the information would be simultaneously merged with my mind, now of course if I read too much and just suddenly stopped magic, it might cause psychosis, hallucinations or what not. Now to reduce the pain I was doing it for short durations and taking breaks so that it wouldn't hurt too much.

Now just because I had photographic memory it doesn't mean I would immediately be able to perform decoding and encryption magic the moment I finished reading. Photographic memory just gave me the ability to remember things not understand them, like I could learn how to write one plus one in some alien language but never know that it meant one plus one, for me it would just be something like modern art or something.

I was slightly concerned for the moment since I wasn't entirely sure who my mystery person was, I didn't want to be on any secret organisations radar already. It would be too early and I'm not strong enough yet.

As I was just finishing up a book, suddenly I received a signal of someone breaking one of the protective barriers at my house.

Why would that happen? The barrier was there to stop mystic attacks and I didn't have anything enemies. I think? I had to hurry.

I have my parents there but they're not my real parents. If I went I might grow some emotional attachment to them. Well to be fair they seemed nice but do I want to risk my life for them? I'm not sure of what to do right now. I'm no hero but I wanna survive and I'm just a scared kid. I want to go but I don't want to take the risk. Screw it! Might as well. I would consider them friends I suppose since I've been living together with them for so long.

I immediately sent a emergency signal to my teacher and opened a portal to my room.

Sitting on my bed was a lady with pitch black eyes, who had a white dress on and a rather seductive smile.

"I've been waiting for you."

"Oh sorry to make you wait so long, honestly speaking I wasn't expecting anyone today." Is she a powerful marvel character? I don't know. Did a new movie come out? Who is she?

"Sorry for barging in. I'm Kusuvi and you would be Marcus."

I didn't have Spidey sense but my gut was telling me this woman was dangerous, Avengers level threat dangerous. I immediately sent a signal to the Ancient One. My gut told me I had to call in the big guns otherwise there would be some serious consequences.

"Oh I didn't realize I was popular amongst ladies."

"Oh you have quite the reputation in the upper echelons."

"Upper echelons of?"

"You'll come to know, don't worry. It's not time yet. Anyway why don't you invite your friends in?"

"Friends?"
