Hunger Gamers

The others had finally finished. As I looked around I wondered what the first day of our journeys were going to be like. The man that had given us these cards looked down at us while he was up on his podium.

"I know that this is a lot to take in for most of you," he said as he looked at everyone but Kakashi "so I shall have my best NPCs to send you to your home. I know your homes are not the greatest. In fact they are nothing but tents. The reason that they are not fancy is due to the fact that you'll need to be able to go out, and kill the Slimes in the dungeon that you all will be exploring."

As he finished saying that I looked at my teammate Kakashi who looked intrigued with the idea of a slime. So out of curiosity he raised his hand to ask a question. As the man looked at him he gave a slight nod of acknowledgement and so he started talking. "Sir I am curios of what this slime is, and if possible is it alright to go ahead and start killing them today."

As he finished up asking his question the man looked at him with a glint of happiness. "Why yes you can go to the dungeon today; but a warning is necessary. The monsters are stronger during the night, however they do drop more goods in return. As Kakashi heard that he eye smiled (somehow) and then waited for him to continue.

"Secondly I have a book that is purchasable with all the creatures stats and powers listed. I even have the exception ones listed. The exception ones is the exceptionally strong organisms past there usual habitat. These drop more prizes. In a way you can think of these monsters as moving boss monsters. This book cost 20 copper due to its usefulness. So I do advise each group to at least get one copy of the book as soon as possible.

As Kakashi finished hearing this he gave such a smile that even his mask moved ever so slightly. "There is another thing that needs done before you go," the man continued without missing a beat as he smirked. You all also have a inventory. To use it all you need to do is think and say Inventory with the intent to open it.

As all of us did as told we saw a screen pop up in front of us. On the screen we saw a label that said we each had 50 copper coins. As soon as we saw the amount Kakashi walked up to the man and pulled out 20 copper from the screen. The man smiled at this before saying "My what a fast learner. Now then you want the book over the creatures correct. By the way it also records any data on peoples stats that you see however it will only show the last data of them that you saw.

Kakashi smiled at this before he handed him the money. And as soon as he did a book burst forth from flames that he had made in his hands. "Here you go good sir," the man said as he handed the book over. Kakashi nodded before walking back to me in a aloof manner.

"Now then, I shall be leaving," the mysterious man said before leaving in a burst of black and blue flames. In the next moment eight figures came down to each of us. "We have been told to lead the new competitors to there homes and then to where they want for the rest of the day to help them get used to the city.

After these words were spoken each of us left in a separate direction. After a while we had made it to the place that I was supposed to call "Home." Looking around I sighed, and spoke for the first time in a while "at least its a larger tent than I thought it would be." As I finished that thought I had another "And I have my own yard."

Tiredly I just asked if the Guard could go back since I would be staying here. The guard smiled before he left. As I went in my tent I realized it was 4 times the size inside as it showed outside. And so with that I went to my bed, and lay down almost instantly falling asleep.
