I Am A Villain

[A.N: Author here, quite possible done with this world after this chapter, also get ready for a big fight in DxD and after that quite possibly a new world. Surprisingly we haven't visited much if any big fiction world (only DXD and a slight visit in nasuverse).

For the new world, of course, there will be a vote chapter. Just keep in mind that the voting chapter is valid for 24 hrs, after that I'll need one day to think of the developments and write the chapter.

Basically, only the votes of the first 24 hrs will be counted. After that 24 more hours for me to think about how things will go and write a starting chapter.

P.S: Got 3 tests next week so I don't know how many chapters I will be able to write.]

As another year passed it was now December… and Zero hated December. It was the month Artoria died, so he couldn't even start to like it even with all the festivities going around.

Walking towards the hospital he started to scribble in a notebook he kept with him since he came to this world. All kinds of notes were included, from poems to past events and even some theories. Writing helped him relax and take his mind off of things for a second.

As he arrived at the front door he saw Kuro and a girl heading in and walked up to him to talk.

Zero: "Hello Kuro."

Kuro turned around and was surprised to see Zero.

Kuro: "Hello… aren't you going to spend the holidays with your family?"

Zero: "Not blessed with such luck yet I'm afraid."

Kuro: "Ahh… sorry."

Zero: "It's okay, It's not like anyone can know what the future holds in store for us."

'Yet, for me that is.'

Zero: "You surely have a deep bond with your cousin, don't you Kuro?"

Kuro: "Ahh… um yes."

Zero: "Sorry, am I making you uncomfortable?"

Kuro: "No, it's just that I haven't met many people that are as open as you are with me."

'At least you said half the truth.'

Zero: "And who might your date here be? Your girlfriend?"

Kuro: "This is Yumihara Saki, my girlfriend, and fiancé."

Saki: "Hello, I heard that you are a good friend of Kuro's cousin."

Zero: "People call me Zero. I am indeed a friend of Kuro's cousin."

Saki: "Zero? It s weird for a name."

Zero: "Well… you can say that the person who gave it to me might be a little crazy, hahahah…"

'I can't really consider myself normal…'

Zero: "So… when is the wedding?"

Kuro: "We haven't decided on something concrete yet."

They walked towards the hospital room were Rikka was resting. Inside the room Rikka was reading a book, glimpsing towards the door at times, clearly waiting for someone.

As the three entered, Zero took his usual seat by the window and Kuro introduced his girlfriend.

It didn't take more than 10 seconds for Saki to escape the room with Kuro standing dumbfounded next to the door.

Zero: "Are you waiting for the bus? Go after her you slowpoke."

Rikka: "Don't call him slow… he just hasn't developed yet."

Kuro: "You are enjoying this aren't you?"

Zero: "You are still here?"

Kuro: "Yes, yes I'm going."

As Kuro left, inside the room silence fell until Zero spoke.

Zero: "Look what you did now, you scared away the guest."

Rikka: "Are you sure it was me, maybe she smelled you rotting in that chair."

Zero: "That was not nice. Do you think it might be because of this that you don't have any other friends?"

Rikka: "Then why are you here?"

Zero: "I am on vacation and don't have anything better to do."

Rikka: "You are being a lazy bum."

Zero: "And so what if I am?"

Rikka: "So you accept that you are being lazy?"

Zero: "Yep."

Rikka: "Do you have no shame?"

Zero: "Nope."

Rikka: "You… are making fun of me."

Zero: "Who knows?"

As the two continued talking the day quickly passed.

As the years passed, one day when Zero visited Rikka, sitting in his usual spot, he said something very disturbing to Rikka.

Zero: "Rikka…"

Rikka: "Yes?"

Zero: "It's about Kuro…"

Rikka: "What? Did he die again?"

Zero: "No… it's worse…"

Rikka suddenly looked serious.

Rikka: "What happened?"

Zero: "I think I might have to call some law enforcement agency on him."

Rikka: "Just what has happened?"

Zero: "I've seen him walking around with a little girl."

Rikka: "…"

Zero: "I don't know which agency to call though."

Rikka: "Haaa… seriously and here I thought something big happened, just call all of them. One of them is bound to take him in… or all of them."

Zero quickly pulled out his phone and dialed a number.

Zero: "Moshi, Moshi… FBI?"

Rikka suddenly threw a knife at the phone which Zero caught in midair.

Zero: "Will you relax? Did you really think I called the FBI?"

Rikka: "Knowing you… quite possible."

Zero: "Well, I did not, thank you for the trust though."

As the minutes slowly passed Rikka suddenly spoke, looking straight at Zero.

Rikka: "I've thought about our agreement…"

Zero: "And?"

Rikka: "Since he is happy then I am not really needed anymore am I?"

Zero: "That for him and you to decide… but no, he doesn't need you anymore."

Rikka: "You sure are cruel with your words… but thank you, for not lying."

Zero: "…"

Rikka: "You know… I had this crazy idea about creating a monster… no a godlike monster that would be able to either take my powers away or kill me."

Zero: "And?"

Rikka: "When I saw into the future the only line that stopped much shorter than the others was the one in which I met you."

Zero: "I see…"

Unknown: "Are you sure?"

Unknown: "Yes sir!"

Unknown: "Replay the phone call."

{Zero: "Moshi, Moshi, FBI?"}

Unknown: "It seems like a prank call… just ignore it for now but launch a full system diagnosis just to be safe."

Unknown: "Yes sir!"
