I Am A Villain

Sasuke was currently looking at the stranger called Zero sitting in his living room.

Sasuke: "Why are you here?"

Zero slowly tilted his head.

Zero: "Why else, because you wanted me to be here, this is your mind after all."

Sasuke looked perplexed at that. He never wished for this guy whom he didn't know.

Sasuke: "I don't even know you. How can you say that I wanted you to be here?"

Zero simply smiled lightly.

Zero: "It seems I made a little blunder. You see, nobody wants me to be near them… but they all want something from me."

Zero slowly got up and walked towards Sasuke.

Zero: "But know this, Sasuke Uchiha… what I can give you, does not come cheap."

Sasuke looked seriously at the man in front of him, wondering if he should make a request.

Sasuke: "If I want the power to kill a certain somebody from you… can you give it to me? "

Zero looked slightly amused as he shook his head and leaned into Sasuke's face.

Zero: "And in which way would you like it? Do you want the power to do it yourself or do you simply want him dead?"

Sasuke: " I want the power to kill him myself."

Zero: "I see… there is only one tiny little problem."

Sasuke: "What is it?"

Zero: "It seems you cannot afford to pay the price."

Power obsessed as he was, Sasuke wasn't blind, unless there was something he could do for the man in front of him he would have long disappeared

Sasuke: "What can I give you… and what can you give to me in return?"

Zero looked a little surprised at that.

'It seems that while he may be emo… he still is Itachi's brother… just not as smart or you would not try and make a deal with me.'

Zero: "Let us see… how about I show you the path?"

Sasuke: "The path? What do you mean by that?"

Zero: "Don't you always wonder? If you made the right decision or not? I will give you the quickest path towards the power you d.e.s.i.r.e."

Sasuke: "And can I afford it?"

Zero: "You are going to be my errand boy in return… so yes."

Sasuke: "It seems a little too much to be your errand boy for just directions."

Zero looked amused at Sasuke.

Zero: "Let me put it simply so you can understand… as it is, by the time you gain the power to kill your brother he will already have died. If you accept my help, you will gain the power to kill him by the time you are 16. And to top it all, it isn't that bad to be the errand boy of an immortal. You might even get a reward if you do your job well enough."

Sasuke: "You are immortal?! And what do you mean by reward?"

Zero: "I am immortal and as for the reward, it can vary depending on the difficulty of the task, You might get a general wish or nothing at all, after all, I'm not going to give you something just for killing a rabbit… well, it depends on the rabbit. Who knows, you might get information as a reward, for example: how and why your brother killed the entire Uchiha clan? Why did he leave you alive? Aren't you curious?"

Sasuke: "I already know the reason, my brother wanted to test himself and so he took on the entire clan. He left me live because I was too weak." – Sasuke was speaking agitatedly.

Zero simply stood there with a slight smile in his face.

Zero: "Say those words 10 more times, write them down 100 times, and slowly read them until they are not memories, but words on a paper. Then and only then will you see how stupid you look right now. Afterwards, we will talk again."

As Sasuke was confused Zero spoke again.

Zero: "That matter aside, do you agree to m proposal now?"

While Sasuke still didn't know the person in front of him, he not only had answers but most likely he had power as well. If he could help him find and kill Itachi then it would all be worth it in the end. Having decided Sasuke looked at Zero.

Sasuke: "I accept!"

Zero smiled as he spoke to Sasuke.

Zero: "Let me give you a little welcome gift. Order!"

As Zero spoke a wire rose from the ground as it pricked at Sasuke's left hand and tied itself around it.

Zero: "When you are out of options, when you are about to die, you can use this mark to request my help. You should use it when you wake up for our deal to conclude."

Zero: "Well enough for today, the sun is up so you should probably go." – as Zero spoke he turned away and Sasuke was pulled away from the living room.

…

As soon as Sasuke opened his eyes the first thing he checked was his left hand. Sure enough, there was a wire-like tattoo wrapped around it. With a hazy look in his eyes, Sasuke raised his hand as he chanted.

Sasuke: "As an agent of domination, I execute my authority, Order!"

As soon as he finished his eyes gained their light.

Sasuke: "Does that mean the deal is concluded?"

Suddenly Sasuke heard the now familiar voice once more.

Zero: "Indeed, when I need you to do something or when you need my advice I will talk to you again. For now, go on to your daily life, but try to not get close to anybody else. If you want to ask me something simply tap your temple twice and I'll make sure nobody is spying on you. Just nod if you understand and head out."

As Sasuke nodded he immediately departed, not noticing the shadows expanding in his house. Slowly from them, countless dark figures rose and turned transparent before heading out as well.

Meanwhile Zero, still studying the sealing used on him tilted his head as if he felt something happening and showed a cold smile.

'Cultivator, if you have survived, reincarnated or transmigrated… Tick Tock, your countdown just started.'
