I Am A Villain

[A.N: Do keep in mind that Zero's words are almost always filled with lies when speaking to others so the only thing you must take for granted is the thoughts and the narration!!]

'Before I based the time on his dreams and the heads on the mountain… but that is not accurate at all, these guys do not look any different from the Naruto series so all that I know is that it is before 'Shippuden' and after Zabuza, because Sasuke has the Sharingan.'

Zero thought about it for a minute and decided to order one of the 'shadow agents' to gather information about the next chunnin exams.

The Shadow Agents were the scouts created by the Annihilation Maker. They could hide in the shadows and had the same level of skill as Zero in combat, making them quite experienced in hand to hand combat. This made them quite terrifying to face, quite resilient towards physical damage. Imagine your enemy disappearing from in front of you, just to appear from a nearby shadow to stab you. They also had no energy signatures be it chakra, life, or magic in general, making them quite capable in assassinations.

Either way, this wasn't the main feature of these shadow agents. It was their ability to spread the power of domination and from the dominated area Zero could spawn more and more agents and later soldiers would start to spawn… In only 4 days Zero's influence would spread on all the major villages, in 7 days his information channels would surpass Jiraya's and in 11 days his army would surpass both Madara's and the shinobi alliance by far.

As for Zero's current occupation… he was still trying to figure out the seal in front of him.

'I can easily break it with force but that would 'break' my host as well, possibly blowing him up. While I have no qualms with that, the change might result in our rabbit goddess not coming to our little party and the loss of Sasuke's Rinnegan. While the power of chakra in this world is not very useful to me, the ocular powers are very useful. After all… my experience and ability in traveling between dimensions on my own can be called… a little extreme.'

'In the end, time-travel related stuff is new to me, I don't know if getting rid of Sasuke will necessarily change the outcome or will keep the future as it is and somehow compensate for Sasuke's absence. Even if the future didn't change killing him would bring undesirable new variables to this little world and considering their luck in sealing I rather not have any unexpected surprises.'

'Taking over as Sasuke Uchiha would not work, I don't know the specifics of what he did for so many years in the cannon and the sage would probably find out the moment I take over and ruin the canon making me lose one of my advantages. The same issue with Naruto. Don't even get me started on Sakura, her uselessness might rub off and acting like her is a big NO!'

'Taking over as Kakashi would not be a bad idea, attached to the main story while also not too much in the spotlight, access to Kamui and using it I gain a direct way to Madara's Rinnegan in the future and make him waltz his way into my territory. Taking it though will also leave me dealing with both Naruto and Sasuke while losing the opportunity to obtain the 'Byakugan' of Kaguya. Easy route but also more complicated in the end.'

'Becoming Obito might immediately alert Zetsu, that bastard is probably keeping an eye on Obito 24/7.'

As Zero kept thinking he remembered something and immediately told Sasuke.

Zero: "Sasuke your first task is up."

Sasuke, who was currently walking home immediately stopped.

Zero: "Go to the Training Ground number 3 and wait there."

As Sasuke nodded and made his way to training ground number 3, Zero made sure to put all the shinobi nearby under a small illusion.

Zero: " A black circle is going to appear, you only need to put your hand through it and grab what's inside."

Sasuke suddenly tapped his temple twice.

Zero: "You can speak, though you want to know what's inside don't you?"

Sasuke: "Yes."

As an oval gate appeared in front of Sasuke Zero answered.

Zero: "The potion of immortality."

Sasuke widened his eyes as he slowly reached out into the portal. When he felt something he immediately pulled back his hand, dragging with him a small vial. Inside the vial, a black and red liquid could be seen continuously shifting could be seen. Sasuke kept staring at the vial in his hand.

Zero: "Are you tempted? You can drink it if you want… but you will die. It will eat you slowly from inside."

As Sasuke took a few more looks at the vial he decided that it was not worth it to risk his life and lose Zero's support over something so vague. For all he knew it might just be a test meant for him.

Sasuke: "What am I supposed to do now?"

Zero, a little curious about his experiment with Sasuke, answered while smiling.

Zero: "Of course, give it to the guy standing behind you."

As Sasuke heard Zero he immediately pulled out a kunai as he turned around. There was a shadow-like creature standing behind him, hand extended, waiting for the vial to be handed over.

Sasuke: "How long was he standing behind me?"

Zero: "The entire time." – Zero answered while smiling.

Sasuke: "Tch…"

Sasuke extended his hand as he held the vial for the shadow-like creature, which grabbed it without hesitation and disappeared by sinking into Sasuke's shadow.

Sasuke: "What… was that?"

Zero: "A common soldier."

…

While Sasuke continued on his daily routine Zero was making progress on the sealing used on him, creating small weak points over time but making sure not to break it yet. As he only had to apply force overtime he now had time to think about other areas to improve on.

'All my hand to hand skills are based on my inhuman strength and speed, this word is a good option to increase my capability. When it comes down to it my body does not get tired and it can fight for eternity. It is only logical that I try to perfect my hand to hand combat as much as I can. Using the biomass I can create multiple bodies, making a simple soldier take it over and using my shadows intelligence gathering and my knowledge to intercept some important deaths.'

' Hiruzen will be a good one as it will be inside the sealing barrier, Together with the souls of the first and second which I can revive and consume at the same time… but I will need a smoke-screen to make sure nobody sees 'me' in action. I need to prepare a multiple-stage sealing array. It should be relatively simple, all I need is for it to hold a couple of minutes, while I finish dealing with the Hokages.'

'… Though I should probably return the souls to the Shinigami after I'm done. I'm much better at dealing with physical gods for now, though I might try my hand at him later… he has an interesting soul sealed inside him should my original plan regarding him not work.'
