Karl was your typical teenager. He hated homework and was absolutely obsessed with videogames. The only thing that might come close to that was his obsession with webnovels. They were just so addicting. He stayed up day, and night, playing and reading his webnovels. One day, as he was laying down on his bed, and reading a webnovel, a black window popped up in front of him, similar to something you'd see in a game.
