I Died, But Came Back ... As A Wolf

Chapter 63 - Tian Long's Questions

"Sarah, if you were sent almost immediately after birth then why do you know so much behind the reason of your departure from the divine realm?" Tian Long voiced out his doubt about how Sarah could know so much.

"Some of it is from the memories that were transferred from my mother and father whilst some I heard whilst my mother and grandmother, I think there was a maid there as well. I can't remember too well since it all went by too fast. However to answer your doubt about how I know this, is that I had inteligence on the level of a human since birth. Although because I was just born I didn't know the severity of the situation I still engraved most of what I heard in my mind since they were among the first words I heard after I was born, it was only until recently that I started to recall the words and started to understand the meaning behind the them.". Sarah voice out her reply since it was mostly true since she did have the intellect of a human when she was born, but she lied when she said that she didn't know the severity of the issue since she had a fully developed thought process that could tell her of the severity.

Although the sentence was the 'truth', Tian Long couldn't help but feel that something was off.

"What did the memories tell you?" Tian Long pressed on as he still felt that there was more to the story.

"The first level of memories were just me meeting my father and mother again. The first half of the 'memories' were them telling me how much they loved me and their past stories up to the point where they got to the part about the scenario surrounding my father's death however that was in the next level of memories that will unlock the higher rank I get until i am at the same level as my mother who transferred the memories over however I wasn't told which level she was but I assume she was powerful since my uncle had to resort to invading with the rest of his clan members to try and force my mother's hand." Sarah said 'uncle' with the fiercest amount of disgust they had ever heard her speak with, even when she had fallen out with Tian Long she hadn't spoken with such an amount of hatred and disgust in her tone.

"My mother of course didn't want to hand me over as I was the flesh and blood of the man that she loved. My father's death, although fortunistic for my uncle, wasn't related to him and so far I am still not allowed to know the reason behind his death however I am still getting information on his clan and their characteristics. My mother's memories however have told me most of the story behind the attack on her clan however I still feel like there is a hidden story even further behind the reason that my uncle attacked however even if he had his hand forced, I will still kill him for seperating me from my mother and making her suffer the fate of not knowing whether her child could survive or not. 'Having to send you away and let your survival rely on luck was the hardest decision of my life yet it was still the best decision for your future' was a sentence my mother first told me as she had assumed that I would have an extreme hatred towards her as she didn't know that I had been aware of everything from the beginning."

Sarah finished her lengthy explanation and then sent a little glare at Tian Long who was still slightly doubtful at heart however after he saw that glare he knew that he was pushing her further than she liked and knew that if he pushed further, Jian might not be the only one to leave.

Silence pervaded the room as everyone digested the big amount of information that Sarah had suddenly revealed as not even the readers knew she had seen her mothers memories yet.

(A/N: Suddenly felt like breaking the fourth wall, don't mind re writing it if enough peple want it to change.)

Surprisingly the one to break the silence was Da XIn with a little cry as she sensed the tense atmosphere as she woke up from her nap as she started to feel hungry again. Luckily for Tian Long he still had enough food to feed her for another couple of days and then he would have to start hunting in the training forest full of beasts that were captured or bought by the academy, though it is more likely for the bought beasts to have been placed in the arena that people challenge for prizes.

Thanks to Da Xin's little out cry the tension was relieved and everyone started to giggle a little. Even the cold faced Jian let out a little giggle before correcting himself back to normal.

Everyone giggled for a good minute while Tian Long had to feed Da Xin.

Looking outside everyone noticed that the time had dragged on and then decied to head back to their own rooms.
