Chapter 300 - Tri-Horn Tyrant

This Tri-Horn Tyrant had a qualitative difference compared to a normal Tri-Horn Tyrant.

Tri-Horn Tyrants are pure physical-type beasts that are ranked Eighty-Seven on the Beast Earth Rankings. They possess thick brown scales that give them great defensive capabilities. The young Tri-Horn Tyrant possessed traces of gold color on its brown scales while the three horns that represented its power were emitting Light Energy.

As the Tri-Horn Tyrant was still young, it only possessed the fighting power equivalent to a Rank 2 creature. It was unable to display its might as a Rank 3 Tri-Horn Tyrant for Yang Tian to verify.

Yang Tian did not know if it was a good or bad thing that a Rank 3 Tri-Horn Tyrant was no longer purely physical strength.

When Yang Tian encountered a pure physical attribute creature in his previous life, he would only use normal taming methods. Special taming methods might greatly affect the tamed beast’s fighting power.

“Ao Ao.”

Towards Yang Tian, the little Tri-Horn Tyrant acted like a spoiled child; it stared at Yang Tian with its large eyes, treating Yang Tian as its father. It pushed itself with its four young limbs and walked towards Yang Tian.

“Can you fly?”

Yang Tian was pointed above the little Tri-Horn Tyrant to see if it could fly. However, it thought that Yang Tian was pointing at its head and was having fun.

“Hungry…”

Yang Tian was startled for a moment before calling Xu Dafu and the rest. Wang Yu was also amongst them this time and Yang Tian handed the little Tri-Horn Tyrant to Wang Yu.

“Domain Lord, what is this?”

The little Tri-Horn Tyrant currently looked cute and Wang Yu delightfully hugged the creature in her arms. Xu Dafu touched the little creature and commented:

“It looks very similar to the dragon that attacked us before!”

“Oh? Tell me more.”

“It is during the period after Domain Lord left, a brown-scaled flying dragon with three horns fell into our domain. However, it looked as though it had suffered serious injuries and was on the verge of dying when we arrived. T-Rex was with us when we went for the site inspection and it ate the creature, leaving only this energy crystal behind.”

Yang Tian took the energy crystal from Xu Dafu and inspected it.

“This is indeed a dragon crystal of a Tri-Horn Tyrant.”

An adult Tri-Horn Tyrant is a Rank 7 creature, yet one had appeared in Sky Halberd Domain with heavy injuries and was eventually eaten by T-Rex. Putting aside why T-Rex did not achieve a breakthrough after eating a whole Tri-Horn Tyrant, just the energy inside the meat of the Tri-Horn Tyrant would have been difficult to consume.

There must be a problem somewhere! This was Yang Tian’s immediate guess, not that Xu Dafu’s words have a problem but the appearance of the Tri-Horn Tyrant.

The birth of the little Tri-Horn Tyrant might not be a problem, but the Tri-Horn Tyrant was undoubtedly a problem.

“It is hard to say.” Yang Tian mumbled.

However, Yang Tian still has to check the situation of the Exploding Fruit Tree, the Exploding Fruit Tree was also a Half-Undead Creature. The body of the tree has changed to the Light Attribute. However, the branches holding the Exploding Fruits were still at the Undead Attribute because the Exploding Fruits could not be converted to the Light Attribute.

The solution was simple; harvest the Undead Attribute Exploding Fruits but no one dared to make the decision when Yang Tian was not around. That was why the Exploding Fruit Tree was caught in this state.

Yang Tian removed all twenty Exploding Fruits. Each Exploding Fruit possessed an explosive force equivalent to a Peak Rank 3. Combined with the Undead Energy within the fruit, it was undoubtedly a powerful weapon.

After harvesting the twenty fruits, the Undead Energy on the tree disappeared. Replacing it was strong Light Energy.

“I need it.”

The Exploding Fruit Tree sent a message to Yang Tian.

“Okay.”

The Exploding Fruit Tree requested for the Tri-Horn Tyrant’s dragon crystal, it was also a Rank 7 dragon crystal. The tree could never absorb the entire crystal, so it would just require a small piece.

Yang Tian still has a use for the remaining dragon crystal.

Yang Tian extracted a small piece of the dragon crystal and inserted it into the tree’s body. One of the reasons that allowed dragons to be referred to as the strongest creatures is that dragon crystals can trigger the evolution of ordinary creatures.

The Exploding Fruit Tree would attain the qualification to evolve after absorbing the piece of dragon crystal. A faint illusion of the Tri-Horn Tyrant appeared on the tree before the vines of the tree wrapped around its body, making it look like a huge cocoon from afar.

“As expected of a Rank 7 dragon crystal, just that tiny bit is enough to trigger its evolution.”

Yang Tian kept the dragon crystal and went back to Sky Halberd Palace after instructing Wang Yu to take care of the little Tri-Horn Tyrant.

Yang Tian took out Twin Dragon Ancient Mirror, he wanted to try using the energy within the dragon crystal to unlock the mirror instead of using dragon blood.

Yang Tian placed the dragon crystal on top of the mirror. There was some movement initially, but it soon became still. Yang Tian displayed a disappointed expression.

“Let’s hope it is useful!”

Yang Tian summoned Charmeleon and used the energy within the dragon crystal to complete the Charmeleon’s final evolution.

Early Rank 4 Charizard

Charizard possessed roughly the same percentage of dragon blood as Dragonite, it should be able to unseal another portion of the seal.

After extracting some of Charizard’s blood, Yang Tian got Charizard to leave.

He let dripped the Charizard’s blood onto the Twin Dragon Ancient Mirror and a red flash appeared from the mirror.

Crack.

The sound of breaking was heard, causing Yang Tian to check the mirror in delight, but his joy quickly vanished. Yang Tian thought the sound was caused by the shattering of the seal, but he discovered after using his Mental Power that the seal was only cracked.

However, it was better than nothing and Yang Tian calmed his emotions. As the seal was only cracked, no further abilities of the mirror have been restored.

Yang Tian kept the Twin Dragon Ancient Mirror and looked the dragon crystal in his hand. The appearance of this Rank 7 dragon crystal was causing Yang Tian unease.

Will such a coincidence happen?

Yang Tian knew he was not a Child of Heaven, the appearance of such a lucky encounter was causing him unease instead.

Maybe this dragon crystal was prepared for another Child of Heaven? He was to become a subordinate for one of them?

Yang Tian’s expression turned uglier, many people become the subordinate of a Child of Heaven indirectly through sudden windfalls. This matter was illogical and could not be explained properly, but it existed.

“However, this will not be the same.”

Yang Tian kept the dragon crystal and prepared to leave Sky Halberd Palace when he saw Light Elf Lina and Dark Elf Guna.

“The feeling is still there?”

Yang Tian only has the Light Attribute with not a trace of Dark Energy now, yet he still possessed the amiable feeling towards the Dark Elf Guna.

“Where are you going?” Lina ran to Yang Tian and asked.

As Lina looked at Yang Tian with her beautiful eyes, she noticed that she was having a much stronger attraction towards him than before.
